The Zeitgeist Movement; Organizing the Venus Project

The Zeitgeist Movement is the activist arm of an organization called The Venus Project, which constitutes the life long work of industrial designer and social engineer Jacque Fresco. The Zeitgeist Movement wants to maximize technology for the benefit of all and the effect of creating abundance which can be accomplished through resource management and technological ingenuity.

The Venus Project is a social system in which automation and technology would be intelligently integrated into an overall social design where the primary function would be to maximize the quality of life rather than profits. We realize that if we wish to end war, crime, hunger, poverty, territorial disputes, and nationalism, we must work toward a future in which all resources are accepted as the common heritage of all people and where technology is used to create a world-wide abundance rather than artificial scarcity. Simply put, we believe in moving towards a new society, The Venus Project, where the well-being of people always comes before profit and money/Capitalism is replaced with a "Resource-Based Economy" that serves the well-being of all people.

The Venus Project presents a bold, new direction for humanity that entails nothing less than the total redesign of our culture. There are many people today who are concerned with the serious problems that face our modern society: unemployment, violent crime, replacement of humans by technology, over-population and a decline in the Earth's ecosystems.

The Venus Project is dedicated to confronting all of these problems by actively engaging in the research, development, and application of workable solutions. Through the use of innovative approaches to social awareness, educational incentives, and the consistent application of the best that science and technology can offer directly to the social system, The Venus Project offers a comprehensive plan for social reclamation in which human beings, technology, and nature will be able to coexist in a long-term, sustainable state of dynamic equilibrium

This stuff is not new......here is the simple and quick definition for folks who dont wanna read this groups laundry list of conspiracy theories. These folks have no chance of being taken seriously and to stop the Obamao Union machine these folks wont cut it.

You know nothing of my political views as I have not voiced them on this thread. Therefore you have no right to say that I do not understand this, and I am quite insulted that you feel you have the right to jump to that conclusion with no info to back it up.

Maybe the truth of it is...none of us on here have enough knowledge, insight, foresight, or clarity to really understand what is happening in the grand NWO. I trust my instincts, and the 'ol instincts tell me something stinks amongst our Masonic Masters. And that's beyond the fact that they worship the Baphomet as their Holy Lord. Studying the small amount of History that I have been able to absorb in my 27 years has shown me some doors that I am not a fan of looking in, but I feel that I have to, so I can understand. But then again, I'm not sure I will be able to understand. So I look to you other folks on here to share your perspectives, and thank you for doing so.

Zeitgeist is a great video. It gave me a lot of new ground to explore, some new lights in some dark corner's of my mind. I agree that most of humanity, American's seem to be at the top of the list don't really care about what is happening in the big world around them. And most of us accept what we are fed gladly, and we are just happy to have our boxes, and some warm food in our belly. It's only natural being a mammal.

I feel that Zeitgeist offers a very easy to understand, and a very gentle "Red Pill" effect on the average person. Anyone who has already been researching these topics will probably find it useful and informative as well. It seemed to have a lot of truthful aspects in it...how much of it is actually solid gold there.... I doubt all of it, but it offers a new perspective, and a chance for those who were stuck in their beliefs to ask some questions. As far as I can tell, trying to discern the truth from any piece of information, whether internal or external is a tricky business. The moment I feel like I have something pegged, I realize there are all these other aspects that I never thought of. Then I go research those, and discover more....I have an inkling this will continue.... :twocents::beatdeadhorse:

I think whatever can be done to wake people out of their brainwashed comas is solid gold, however I have to agree with Island in that I doubt this group will be taken seriously enough to really make a difference. I still think they should go for it though!
