Chips & curry sauce
A nice Murphy's for lunch & no drama for it back at work
The way the fields look flying into Heathrow (multicolors)
True Football (sorry america, soccer takes WAY more skill), and sometimes folks are beaten to death in the stands
Getting shitty on the trains cause they serve booze & warm guiness
A Brit can say some dumb shite...but with that accent, they sound genius. Bastards. Being from Texas, everything I say sounds dumb.....bastards.

Sensitive no, but if I lived in bankrupt California I would feel the same. By the way, since you guys arent allowed to have big screen tv's anymore, I'll take any 50inch and bigger LCD's before the Nanny state fines ya'll. Just a thought. Good luck out there. Get your taxes back yet?
-
Things you love about the UK
Looking at the public schools and roads in Cali, I'm not sure what the ridiculous high taxes go for? Might explain why buisness is FLEEING to Nevada in droves.

I used to like our laws on cannabis until the pricks decided to change it to class B and fire the head scientist guy for saying it's not as harmful as alcohol and cigarettes. I like the way we talk and words we use which are different from Americans.
All in all it's a good country to be in!

I missed off pubs, "bars" don't seem that good in America, I like the good old english pub and the chain pubs i.e. J.D. Wetherspoons, it may be depressing in the daytime but the drinks are cheap and they have a large selection.
Nice country roads for fast driving :)

I grew up near the Pennines and the roads round that way will test any biker, I've lost count of the amount of times I've had my heart in my mouth.
Also
I'm an avid F1 fan so I have to include Ross Brawn and 2009 champion Jenson Button. That's the thing about us Brits, we do like to go fast. :D
not forgetting the legend that is Foggy (Carl Fogarty) Supercool..

As a biker (to nurses we're known as organ donors :( :D ) I have had many visits to various emergency rooms and will always be grateful for the standard of treatment I have recieved.
The NHS is a lot like the old bill, you never really appreciate them till you need em and thier mistakes are overblown so they overshadow any good work they do.

I have a theory, we in the UK should get injured at least once so our tax money that's been taken is paid back to us (well kinda). Getting free treatment would give us some of the money back.
Sorry stupid idea but I'm stoned as!
:stoned:

Skull fractured twice, reconstruction of eye socket.
Jaw broken once , also broke 6 teeth at the same time.
Humerus (upper arm) broken once
Wrist, right 3 breaks , left once.

I've been on a bike once, shit my pants and we'll leave it there. I feel safe in my car and it's fast enough! ;)

Most of them were on bikes, one skull fracture from a climbing fall and my jaw and teeth were a building site accident.
I've also fallen from cliffs in Spain while free-climbing, had my arm runover in Holland by a Mercedes and broken my right wrist in Holland too.
I am amazed I made it past 30. :D

Dang man that's awful.. Lots of injuries!
I've never broken anything, the most I've had are cuts and bruises and not that many major ones tbh.

Never was a Beatles fan, they were pretty much the boyband of thier day , Love me do was pure bubblegum pop , they only really got any good at all after they discovered drugs.
Gerry and The Pacemakers
3 number ones with your first 3 singles now that is some achievement.

Dude, hash browns too. Best breakfast ever = wake 'n' bake then half a french stick/baguette with 10 rashers of bacon. Did it once with my missus and damn it was good!

is she the one that sang that song that went something like this :stoned: running up that hill, running up that hill, with something something :D i can't remember if that was her or not but everytime I read this that song comes in my head for some reason. :stoned: pretty groovy tune.
I was into the fab four for about about year or so when I was 15 when I had this girlfriend who was all into them. Now everyone one of their songs reminds me of her. :icon220: but yeah, i was more into Floyd and Zep back then. :smokin:
the only place i've ever actually been in the UK is Hethrow Airport, changing planes to the 'dam, so i guess i'll have to say that is one of the things i love about the UK from actually being there. hope to go back someday, tho, and check it all out. :pimp: I used to live in Santa Monica and spent about every weekend and the Oars Head Pub, so I feel like I've already lived in the UK.

^ no, I was talking about these guys. May be before your time, I haven't heard much new music in a while. I guess they are English. I think Harriet Wheeler had a pretty good solo carreer too. All those english bands were staples on the radio back in Cali when I lived there in my previous life.
But, I mostly listened KNAC, Pure Hard Rock back then, tho. I can never get eneough Motorhead . :smokin:
