does curing in jars help the potency?

hello all i just scored some fresh northenlight it was still a little damp.. if i put them in a jar will it get better as in potency? thanks for ur help..

A good cure will definitely affect potency and taste. I prefer glass mason jars, but pretty much any air-tight container will do the same thing. You'll find some good curing good info here: Does curing affect potency?

hello ev1.. i just scored some northern lights my buddy said it was'nt cured yet.. can u really benefit if u cure it does it really help?

Here's a link to a pic of the jars I use... and yes, curing definitely helps the potency and flavor - the longer the better (at least until it's completely dry that is)

...be sure to 'burp' the jars and stir the buds up once or twice a day for the first few weeks of curing to let the moisture out. :stoned:

hi mate my grow ive put some in jars n smoked it 48 hours later

thanks guys.. i just went and bought 12qt jars for $10..

Mason jar curing doesnt increase potiency but will increase the aroma and taste if it was grown and flushed right.If you put wet dope in a air tight jar expect mold in 3-4 days!
