I FOUND THIS BUG?? AND WHAT ARE THE THINGS IN THE RED CIRCLES ON PLANT, HELP ME GUYS

I found this little BUG (looks like a shiny EGG WITH LEGS?) and saw some things on the plant that id not seen before (circled)
Just wondered what the bug is (Ive just soaked in neem oil) and if theres anything to worry about on her.

PEST OFF. LADY BUGS OR APHIDUS..

EASY TO TREAT. EVEN IF THERE SPIDER MITE THEN THE ABOVE WILL DESTROY THEM GOOD LUCK

They are thrips. Get a pyrithin bomb with nothing else in it.

Trying to get rid of some adults myself. Cover your soil and bomb again in 4 to5 days.

Sorry I just went looking and they are spidermites. You need to bomb every 5 days for 3 times. 15 days to break the life cycle.

the bomb is none toxic but then so are ladybugs and they will eat about 40 spidermite/aphid in a day..

even if you use the bomb(not in late flower) i would still add the ladybugs as continued protection..

ladybugs wont leave anytaste in your bud mate....

Ok guys got her out this morning and found quite a FEW of the little basterds, so i made a 'neem oil' + 'Garlic' +dishsoap' spray and soaked her and the top couple of inches of soil.
Then i ran 2 litres of water through her, the ive just sprayed ALL OVER again with that spray i made.
Then im gonna spray her again with clean water.

IVE POSTED SOME PICS, SO TELL ME GUYS LOOKING AT HER SHOULD I BE WORRIED??????

I cannot get pest off or anything similar so alls i got at my disposal is household items and foodstuffs, so if any of you have made a good detterent out of general kitchen stuffs, COMMENT AND TELL ME.

shes looking good but i would order some ladybirds from the internet or local garden center should have them. they shoudl only be around 6-8dollars for 50as this will safe guard them. they look realy nice are you using co2 as your pistles look realy long and healthy...

Im gonna try and get some lady bugs tomorrow.
Im not using C02 or anythning major on her, just bio bloom, molasses, tap water now, and for the bugs a garlic & neem oil spray - but this is just mainly stemming the attacks, i would be happier if i was only a week or two away from harvest, - ireckon Im about 3 weeks away (25% harvest then the rest a week after)

She is a 'Four Way' strain (which explains alot about her gowth)
With having 25% Ruderalis in shes a bit autoflowering,
FOUR WAY consists of ¼ indica, ¼ ruderalis, ¼ sativa and ¼ Skunk#1.
Four-way usually takes on an indica appearance, rather short and bushy with medium large leaves.

I think she is basically 'living' with the bugs, so as long as it stays how it has been for the lat few weeks then she should be ok.
I mean shes only got 3 weeks to harvest point, but when harvesting im only cutting 50% then leaving the rest for another week or so, to experiment with the types of highs.

May try a sample in the next couple of days - any suggestions looking at the pics where to take it from?

hmmm samples samples samples. lol theres no good place to take them from because.....

well because its taken me 9 odd years to realise that, that tiny sample you take now would have turned into a lovly thick dense bud and altho desperate for a high hahahaha it just watse the bud. i wouldnt take a sample untill you start to flush realy. there wont be enough thc in the resin glands to do much to you. the taste wont be there etc.

if you have to tho. take them from the lowest section of the plant. mj grows from the tip so if you remove the tip of a growing bud, it wont get any longer... so a lower branch and take a side bud that makes up the bottom of a bud. that way the bud its self will still grow.

wait till the pistles are orange but the little resin glands are still clear. then wait till they have changed to 50/50 milky/clear then sample. then wait till all milky then take a sample. then 50/50 milky/amber. then all amber. mark up all samples and dry and cure them propaly. youll have 5 samples which sould be in my opinion..

1=early clear. very clear high but lacking the hit you want so bad, slight green taste...
2=milky/clear. very clean very high. good hit and a smile on your face. nice flavour
3=milky. mungled head still a nice clean uplifting high, but now your feeling a bit lazy too. jucie flavour but start of a dry mouth.
4=milky/amber. good body hit. cant be fucked to do anything realy. head feels realy stoned. taste is spicier and full bodyied.
5=amber. sit down for this one. do a bong and your chest feels it first.... then your face goes funny hahaha. very much a bed time smoke. very powerfull and dopey.

when you smoke them. make notes on which is best for you.

IMPORTANT.
use this info on your next crop.

it will take too long to dry and cure the buds so you can fully experience the high and taste, so youll miss the boat on this harvest if you know what i mean... please do(if you havent already) fully dry and cure(for a month) a full ounce. then compare the smoke of that to your un cured smoke and youll honestly be amazed

ps plants never live with bugs... you wouldnt like to be left with nitts would you... lol. deal with it when you see it or the little gits wait untill your close to harvest time and then explode in numbers right when its too late to spray or treat your bud laiden plants.....

I aint taken no sample yet, trying to wait.
The bugs only ever seem to 'repel' for a few days - but they are still just in the soil???
So with time being limited what can i do??
The plaNt isnt damaged in any way at all so dont know what I can do.
Im flat broke for at least another 10 days - so got to rely on household stuff to get rid (any suggestions).

Shes around 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 weeks away Max. (8th october is 50 days)

Please let me know what you think of her, and what i can do about those little buggers in the soil?? (still tiny grey round dot like things)

hey there again. if the bugs are based in the soil then i think there different to the ones in the pictures.

thrips and fungus knatts(check speliing lol) lay there eggs in the soil(substrate) the eggs hatch into larvy and then develope into crawly things that are twice as long as they are wide. these then change into the adult flying fungus natts. and the thrips look like very small and slender woodlice....

the bugs in the photo whith the white background are aphids im sure.

none of these will ruin a harvest.

thrip and fungus natt cause root diseases. sometime and the aphid just drink from your plants.

only a sevear infestation will harm your plants..

as for house hold products. if your mix didnt do the trick then god knows what will...

youll be fine..

I got 6-20w cfls on spread around her,
and a 70w HPS above her.

Obvioulsy better lights = better plants, but for 1 plant in a 4x2x6 grow its plenty i think.

I got 1 8 inch desk fan and a 'air purification unit', so she gets plain air just blown around from desk fan and air purifier blowing out nice pure air.

Using bio bloom, and molasses, and tap water (stood for 1 days each time),
its her last big feed tonight with nutes anyway.
And her grow medium is 'multi purpose compost' (0.79p-15l bag)
And her room is covered in mylar.

hey themasta09 thats cool man youve got a nice set. my space is also the same as yours, 4wide2deep6high. im growing in a caravan. which has its pros and cons.

i have 5 sensistar in a 20L NFT system which is basical one big pot with a continous supply of aired nutes flowing over the roots... 600 duel spectrum hps. i have 2x 25watt 5inch clip on oscilating fans.
2x280cubic meter and hour fans one in one out. and a dehumidifier.

this picture is about 2weeks now old so the plants are 3weeks old in this picture..

you can see that the plants look a little bit unhappy. its taken till today to sort them and i think im in the right direction now....

iv added a little co2 but the yeast method seems too much hassel....so im soon to invest, in the bits and pieces to make my own co2 system as the shop baught ones are so over priced...

iv had my problems with nute defficiencies and aphids too...

hows your plants now then as they must be all coloured up and smelling sweet as....

ps what made you go for the lower wattage option?

The only reason i went for the lights i did was purely from a financial point of view, no other reason.
I did well getting the hps light tho for a tenner.

Shes now starting week 8 and looking perfect green all over and the bud and budsites all working fine.
I will get a proper update at the weekend with some 'full lentgh' pics before i start taking big bits off her, to try the different stages.

Love your setup, how many plants, and what you using total. Looks so cool:hippy:

Yeah, I would just not panic and do anything that will hurt the plants more than the bugs. The neem oil works wonders for my outdoor garden but in bad soil cases I have to apply it heavily every few days and get the plants vigorous. I really love your low wattage setup, it's seriously inspiring. I bet that is going to be the best little stash you have ever smoked...especially since you earned it!
The problem is, since it's slower growing the plant won't stay ahead of the infestation with out a lot of assistance. Next time start super clean and look at keeping bugs out better by air filters or something.

I would guess it still has three weeks but it's hard to tell from here.

Im shocked just how well shes done esp seens as some folks talk about using 1000w and 2 x 600w!!
The bugs aint doing anything i will just spray neem on top of soil to keep \at bay..
Im just giving her water i 'flushed' her on 1st october, and since then i fed her 250ml water with 1ml molasses, im gonna give her more today i think.

The pic was a bit i took off and steam dried, boy it got me flying nic, and i woke up with a clear head, so its a thumbs up.
If its this good now imagine another couple of weeks.
