Ok i realize that all the legal buds dont really do anything to mess you up or get you high, but i was wondering if they're still worth smoking for the flavor, relaxation, etc. If im NOT looking for a high, do they really work as they sound, or are they just a cheap nasty smoke?

Well after doing some research i seen that herbalsmokeshop has pretty much been a big waste... i've heard other things such as blazeblock.com and other sites... does anyone know about these, and are they worth the effort? I'm just looking for a change from cigars, and i was wondering if there are ANY legal herbs that anyone has tried that are enjoyable! Thanks.

That stuff always looks nasty. My friend said he smokes the stuff more for the act of smoking, not for getting any sort of high, which seemes pointless to me. I was thinking about trying it until i read this.
Alright well i've read about most the herbs out there (and 3 of my sisters are at school in Arizona for herbal medicine, so they're a help!), and i've come to the conclusion all herb shops are pretty much a rip. With all there herbs mixed together my sis's friends say the effects that can naturally occur with just one of the herbs are pretty much gone. I was still wondering though, has anyone tried straight up Salvia, Wild Dagga, Calea, or Kanna. I was reading at www.mazatecgarden.com and it has some great information regarding the herbs themself. I've read enough to realize salvia messes you up, and its 100% legal in the states. So has anyone here tried wild dagga (sounds pretty decent, but im sure its overrated by the shops to sell it), or any other straight up herbs smoked? Please respond if you know anything accurate, i'm really interested in trying different herbal smokes. Also, i have a very small body build, so maybe it would affect me differently?

Ever try Wild Dagga or Calea? Its promoted pretty good for relaxation and euphoric effects... sounds interesting. What's that best way to start trying salvia? I dont want to trip out too bad my first time..... and how does extract work?
i have smoked dagga it taste like your smoking pine needles and it just gave me a headache
wild dagga extract did nothing for me. blue/white lotus extract dissolved in alc was decent, slightly narcotic like buzz. But I used a lot of it so I'd still say it's not worth it.

But, if you wanna get high legally, go with Salvia. I've never tried it personally, but I heard it's a pretty intense high which lasts for about 30 minutes max, then you're all relaxed and shit. They sell it at my local headshop, 10x and 20x extracts. If there's a head shop near where you live, ask them about it, they might have some.
Anyone know a good seller, and what to start with? And when smoking it, it seems that pipes are the way to go because of the heat needed to get the chemicals out. Does anyone know any links to good pipes, and what kind of salvia is best to start with, just the dried leaves? I checked out www.erowid.org and that place rocks, very informative. I think i'm going to try dagga, salvia, and kanna.
salvia is available in most head shops and is still pretty much legal everywhere. best smoked from either a pipe or a bong using a butane lighter to torch the salvia to a higher temp. You might want to start on the 10x salvia to get used to it as its a pretty strong exp.

is a very good site with a lot of info on how to use salvia divinorum. Recommend it highly. Dunno bout buying from it but from what i remember its supposed to be pretty good.
