i recently got a job offer and was wondering how long i should wait until scheduling my u/a.
I spoke to someone who used to work at the place and i was told that testing is extremely strict for this particular job and i would be monitored; therefore substitution, my original plan, is not an option.
i haven't smoked for 4 days; however, i was a once-a-day smoker prior. Thanks for your input! :)
just dilute, it will work dont worry about it.
drink gatorade and eats some beef the day before try to go to a buffet and eat some hamburger patties or chinese beef and brocoli get the creatine up then use the gatorade ORANGE> some how it kept my pee yellow. The yellow gatorade just turns my pee white. and also. get some good sleep and dont worry it will be ok if you follow the dilution sticky above.

also, i have access to a prescription diuretic called lasix (furosemide). do u think this is worth taking an hour or two before the test?

different things can cause false positives IDK if that would but, the less stuff In your system the better.I would just wait as long as you can I had a interview for a job that i was able to obtain and after the interview she gave me two days. I had been clean for a month but im really chubby and have smoked for 6 years.I was stupid and thought i was clean and didnt drink any water that day. well i failed the test and was screwed outta a great job thats why i hang around these forums tryin to point you guys in a good direction.I would read up on the dilution stuff tho it is a FREE method and if personally I was you i would tell them gimme a week???? make up a excuse and ask for a week do some serious exercise and then DILUTE that would give ya a good time to help expell some toxins.I also think a employeer would take a week, a very respectable time to get things settled in and ready for ya to come working. good luck bro
just to update:
i purchased a firstcheck marijuana test and passed w/ flying colors (dark ass line) after drinking a 4 hefty glasses of water (urine was pale yellow). This is great news; i thought i would fail for sure as it has only been 6 days since my last toke! tomorrow i will re-test after drinking 3 glasses of water just to be on the safe side :)
How much time do you have if you can delay the UA to the last possible day? The more time you have the better your results will be.
Great that you are taking home tests I was going to advice that. If you are going to go with dillution, practice it a couple of more times. Also plan on taking a creatine supplement, buy them at gnc, at least 3 days prior to your ua and up to the day of your ua. When you dillute for the actual ua, drink gatorade intead of water. The creatine and gatorade will help if the lab tests for dillution. Some fail with dillution because their creatinine and specific gravity tests don't pass. This is all covered in the dillution sticky. Be careful that you dont take excess fluid just follow the sticky.
i HAD as much time as i needed, however i was planning on working during the summer and if i waited long enough, i wouldn't have much time to work since the summer would be pretty much over by the time i was clean. since i passed the home test, i decided to take the u/a immediately. i'll be taking it in a day or two and plan on following the sticky as you advised.

final update--
just passed a home test for the second time! yay! i don't know how this is possible as i was a chronic smoker (smoked once daily) for months until 6 days ago and i didn't dilute at all this time (urine was fairly strong yellow!). in addition, i run everyday for 30 mins. (including today before my test). perhaps i have a high metabolism or something. well..i'm going in today, wish me luck everyone!
what a waste...i should've subbed! the test wasn't even observed...i'll post results in 24-48 hrs as soon as i find out

I was a pretty regular smoker. I am being tested to take an EMT class at a local community college...
Anyway, I would smoke about 3.5 grams a week. Not too much, but I was a pretty regular user - kinda like vitamins :)
Anyway, I have an extremely rigorous workout regimen (5 days a week) and I haven't smoked in about a month...
Will I have an issue? If I should be worried, what are some rules for dilution?
you should be fine if you're average weight/height/etc...
i'd suggest investing in a home drug test (available at CVS for $15.00) and testing yourself.
i workout myself on a daily basis and passed a home test in 6 days with a fairly strong line after smoking daily for a good couple months prior.
in terms of dilution, there is a sticky posted that is helpful on the top of the drug testing forum entitled "DILUTION: tips, tricks and guidelines"
