How can you tell if your Bud is laced or not?
it depends on what its laced with
You'd probably notice the effects of it after the fact.
Like can you look at it see something diffrent than normal
Well, if you see something different than normal, myguess would be that it is laced. I don't think you can see things liek PCP though.
If it's purply coloured, it's laced with formaldehyde or antifreeze (amateurs). If it's got blotches of dark green or lighter green or any other colour other than orange or white, it's laced with who knows what. If the buds appear completely dark green like the colour of :D, then it's definitely laced. Also beware of horny people who take advantage of the the whole "sticky icky" thing to trick you into buying schwagg... I'll let all your dirty minds go to work on that one!
Since :D doesn't appear on all monitors as the same colour; If your weed's colour can be found ANYWHERE (even on the treasury "stamp") on a US$1 bill, then it's laced.

Bud comes in different colours, many strains produce blue-ish purple buds, red, yellow, orange and varying shades of green.
You would know if your marijuana had formaldehyde on it because although it is colorless it SMELLS.

The problem I have with this 'lacing' issue is that I cannot think of any logical reason why any real drug dealer would take ordinary cannabis and mix it with a more expensive substance just to sell it to the unsuspecting consumer for the regular price of herb.
Since PCP is cheap, maybe, but it is usually put on shit weed and clearly marketed under its slang 'wet'. Only worry about this if you're dealing with the unscrupulous type, and then perhaps you should find a better dealer.

Well, weed can be laced with cheaper chemicals that enhance the effect making the buyer think that they are gettin super great quality weed becuase it makes them freak out and get hyper and shit. Just to let you know, I have seen purple strains, obviously purple haze. I'm talking about purple blotches that aren't just on regular areas of the buds. If it is a dark green bud that looks like it doesn't have much on it, it is likely laced. If it has green blotches, that is a telltale sign of lacing.

Ok if you get bud with white powder on it wit brown spot its been laced with crack, this one time i got some pure orange bud that fuckd me rite up, im pretty sure it was laced but i dont know with wat, beware of acid laced weed, considering i dont know what color acid is, im not sure wat the bud would look like, prolly blackish or really dark green,

Without getting into the whole purple haze going extinct in the 80s controversy or fact that 'Haze' strains have a low yield and very long flowering times which make it a bitch to grow for anyone with just cash on their minds, i'll tell you that other strains of marijuana can be purple due to the plants genetics or temperature where it is grown. Anybody smoking purple haze obviously must either know someone who grows it or be in an area where only the best quality of cannabis is sold, assuming this is the case why would you need to worry about your buds being laced?

Where is the brown comming from? I've voluntarily rubbed crack on cannabis or put rocks on top of packed bowls and never once did a brown spot appear. Then comes the whole logical flaw again, crack is fucking expensive. You would know if you smoked any significant amount of crack cocaine, it has a distinct taste and it would numb your mouth and throat. If you want to talk about substance detection by taste, PCP is described as having a very chemical taste and 5meo-dmt tastes like plastic.
LSD by the way is colourless, you would not know if there was any on your herb even after you smoked it because I second here what thcbongman stated, acid is destroyed at such temperatures rendering this method of administration a waste. okay okay now I see where the confusion lies. Somebody mentioned weed laced with acid. I said that it WOULD get you fucked. It does, I have heard horror stories about it. It is the noxious chemicals that are produced during the endothermic single replacement reaction of d-lysergic acid diethylamide with the heat/oxygen from the weed or source of heat and air. You do know that when something is burned it reacts with oxygen and doesn't just disappear, correct?
I once soaked a joint in everclear to make somewhat of a "thai joint" you might call it. It didn't make any noticable difference except that it had to be on fire to stay lit. However, it did burn smoothere and nicer since the flame from ethyl alcohol is so cold compared to other flames.Quote:

That isn't what really matters here though, it is that acid is not cheap and in the United States is getting rare. Thus there is no logical reason for a dealer to take any amount of acid and put it on weed without telling the buyer, there would be much more profit in simply selling it for what it is by itself.

I think the common perception of it being laced is due to lackluster growing and the addition of cheap or incorrect nutes(miracle grow). I do have to agree with most on this thread. If someone can profit from selling it alone, why bother lacing? Anything that I can think of to use as a lacing agent already has a black market economy that suffers from basic economic supply and demand. I believe the only time it would be profitable to lace is if you carry inventory on several products and one is becoming aged. The logic being you may be able to squeeze enough extra price from your weed to make yourself whole on the product that didn't sell. This is just my 2 cents.
Lsd, if I remember correctly, is an acid that oxidizes when exposed to air. By burning, it will force to complete oxidized state leaving a completely different chemical. I took acid once, that was more than enough for this lifetime. I am not going to comment on the rest of the lacing agents, most seem foolish. I am going to assume you will only find this problem with very low end dealers(they should be avoided).
Another possibility to consider is mold. It can turn things funny colors and make the smell and taste off. This may be interpreted as lacing.
I've been smoking a long time, I can't say that I have run across any laced stuff to my knowledge. I do prefer to know my strains and with that comes contacts that cater to the high end consumer. Doing this will make the lacing conversation moot.
I think I will leave it like this, if it smells like bud, tastes like bud, and gets you ripped I am going to bet you got some bud.
