1600 watt vert grow coco drippers
Haven't posted in a while and figured id display my latest endeavor. This is a versicle grow with a 600 on the bottom tier and a 1000 on the top. Its run in cool tubes and everything is connected with 6"ducting. I have a huge fan to pull air from under my house (nice and cool) and a separate larger fan to push air into the attic. I maintain negative air pressure at all times and use an inline ozone generator to easily deal with all odor without impeding air flow at all.
I use canna nutes A+B and p/k. Also I use purple maxx and carboload (Normally molasses but not with drippers) I feed once a day over the time period of 3 hours. PHed at 6 running 800ppm.
I'm new to coco but not growing...any ideas for improvements on my yield please let me know
The bottom and top pics are wrong...the one with the open cool tube is the bottom and your looking verticle 8'

Heres a couple more pics
So I made 2 hexagon with 2x4s for the top and bottom and ran vertical studs for whatever I need them for. So that gives me space for 12 spots and I dont train the bottom I let them keep going for the top 1000 light....some are 4-5' already and im 3 weeks into flower.

5' dia. works good. So check out this idea for phase 2. Use fish line to make a makeshift screen to weave the plants in so you can train the outward branches in and setup a custom canopy for maximum light rates for all those bud sites.

Going great so far....only light tip burn and a bit of light burn on the rogue leaves that "go into the light". Just flushed with a 4 hour run of phed water on the dripperes....im toying with the idea of using evaporation to deal with runoff like some a/c units do. I have a heavy duty tarp lining the bottom with 6 mil plastic under that and have my intake pointed down at the puddles that develop.
I bet I could make a wick system with old towels that would greatly increase surface area that could easily evaporate everything when I flush...pics to follow later

I noticed the plants in soil seem to be much beefier than their coco counterparts....they are 1 week ahead also though. I feed them all water PHed @ 6

I know the plants are healthy but i think there is room for some improvment. Honestly I was hoping for some feedback/suggestions theses pics above are mostly 5 weeks in. How do they look? How is bud size compared to your grows at that stage?

well i got some stuff to throw around with you cyclo. first of all how big are the pots ? are the coco/soil plants in the same size pot? how well established would you say they were when they started flowering? i've had better results with smaller pots and more frequent waterings in coco. treating it like hydro. do you feed every watering? what about runoff?

5gal pots looking to go over to 2 gal I feed every other and wait until 15% runoff. I feed once a day over a period of 3 hours

I feel that maybe the 5 gallon pots were too big for coco. How was your yield soil vs coco? The problem with coco from what i've read and seen with my plants is that overwatering becomes a real problem when the roots aren't fully established in the medium. . The roots will tend to stay in one general isolated ball while the rest of the coco in the pot is just staying saturated. The difference in yield for me between 1 gallon and 2 gallon has been startling.

does that really work? whats the dilution of alcohol to water and what percent rubbing alcohol are you using? do you rinse throughly with water after?
