Here is a Hardcore Hip Hop/Rap group from the East Coast. They're very lyrical in the most darkest lyrics so listen at will ;)
BloodLine - Download the EP 4 FREE!! on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
It's Hardcore Hip Hop or "Torture Rap" I'm not big into the lyrics but the beats are nice and just how everything is put together. But do remember that I mean no disrespect or mean to offend anyone if that you do become offended by this music group. If you can imagine torture in lyrics then viewer desecration is advised..of course if you can view with your ears haha :stoned:

i love all styles of music, its pulled me through so tuff times in my life but i think hip hop died in the late 90's its just not creative anymore
I listen to any good music. If hip hop or rap happens to be good, i'll listen to it.
i hear ya invalid..
everything changes which can really suck or be super kool.
I'm a complete music junkie. It's my addiction, my fix, and my savior. Music puts a feeling inside the body that everybody can relate too. Whether it be rap, pop, rock, etc. everybody listens to music according to how they are feeling at the time, no? I think I listen to so many different genres is because not one genre can relate to everything a person (especially myself) faces or goes through on a daily basis.Quote:

Imo, all genres of music have something interesting to contribute. I like some of the classic and old-school rap/hip-hop before the 2000s.
But today, it has been overexploited and raped beyond shit nowadays to mainstream society. Why I've been getting into some of the better underground stuff.
SUBNOISE RECORDS kmk hed pe daddy x dgaf la coka nostra
Man, I love hip hop I'm talkin' old 93-96 jazz based samples; J Dilla embodies that, listen to that style that is somn' to roll up to. Nowadays rap is in it's place there are some good ones Dipset, UGK, Gucci, Wayne. Check out Waynes SQAD mixtapes they're sick or 10,000 Bars that is him rapping an album without stopping in between songs, all in one take. :D

Anyone listen to any rap from houston? Z Ro, Devin The Dude, Dj Screw?
big l, Jay z, nas, 2pac and Biggie ofcoarse, DMX annnnddd pretty much any hip hop that actually has a meaning.
I saw this singer Erykah Badu on the Dave Chapelle show. She does not do that rap shit that just drags down the black community with glorifying drive by's and other violence. Her music is sort of it's own thing, some where like jazz. She also did a wild stunt where she walked naked to the Kennedy assassination spot and dropped like she was shot. See "Window Seat" video, it's artistic, raw and edgy. This was the performance on Dave Chappelle:
YouTube - Erykah Badu I Want You live au chappelle show.
Oh, and plus she's totally hot.
lovin devin the dude, pharcyde, digable planets, show and ag, pete rock, diamond d, etc....theres tons of dope hip hop with a focus on the herbs!
go-go is dope! its pretty much only in the DC area tho...unfortunately...but they still get love. did a show with Wale (new rapper who messes with some go-go influences...meaning he's from DC) about a year or two ago and he brought UCB, which is an ill go-go band. show was tight!Quote:
