FBR your opinion would help

Hi all. I have been lurking on this site for a week and picking up some great info. I want to thank the regulars for some straight info and telling it like it is. I am 43 yrs old, 5'11", 195 lbs, not fat but could lose another 5. I have been suffering from insomnia for years and after much research decided to try the cannabis. I have been smoking about .5-1 small joint a day since Oct. 2007. Takes me about 3-4 weeks to go through an 1/8. Usually pretty good but not great meds. My previous job had me active and I run/walk about 10 miles/wk. Pretty good metabolism, I have been a 34 waist for 20 yrs and never exceeded 205 lbs. not matter what "bad" food and drink I ate.

I have to do a UA in the next 5-9 days, might be able to stretch it to 12 days for a great job opportunity, currently laid off. I have been totally clean since 5/22/09. Today is day 14.

I am not going to ask how long to be clean. I want to relate that in my case I have been doing some home tests, the Walgreens one and my pass/fail results have been fluctuating day by day. I can pass (2 visible lines no matter how faint) 2x in a row and the 3rd test the t line is gone or its a ghost line. 2 days ago I passed with my morning void, today I did not. I am mailing in my sample to the at home co. today.

I need your input as to why I would be getting such fluctuating results? I have followed the instructions and I placed my self on the high fiber diet plus metamucil supplements. I have kicked up my exercise regimen and also walk everywhere and try to stay active. What's up? Have any of you seen this before? I still have a little time, should I be doing something different?

Your thc levels naturally vary because of exercise or fat intake and other factors also like liver and kidney function. If you're getting an occasional negative result you should be good within a week. Just follow the dillution sticky the morning of the UA.

Thanks killerweed420, you are putting my mind at ease. I can delay my quest diagnostics ua until June 12 so that will give me 22 days clean until i give them a sample. I will test myself again and be ready with dillution if necessary.

OK so I sent in my urine sample from 6/4/09 to phamatech, I hope its ok to mention the co. I got the results but it is too late to call their customer service today. Their results say I have a positive result at 55ng/ml. My last day of smoking was on 5/21/09. I have not touched any cannabis since then. Does anyone know what kind of test they ran at their lab. Do you think it was a gs/mc because I understand that they are expensive. Do you think it was a simple immunoassay? I know I should wait to speak with them but I am freaking out a little here. Any info would be sooo helpful. Thnx in advance.

Forgot to mention that I was planning on taking a pre employment UA at Quest tomorrow, 6/12 but I can push it off to 6/15.

I tested myself with my morning void on 6/9 and it came up negative with a very faint line. I practiced a mild dilution (48 ounces of water over 2 hours) that afternoon and it came up negative with a stronger t line. I tested myself this morning with my first void and it came up negative with a very faint t line. I am going to take my UA on 6/15 at Quest Diagnostics, it is a 6633n sap 10-50 gc/ms. Any opinions on my chances? I am thinking of using a mild dilution for the test, 32 ounces of water and 40 ounces of gatorade. Any help would be great.

Too much fluid. Just go with the 40 ounces of gatorade the morning of the UA. Pee a few times and use your midstream pee.

OK so I just practiced the dillution method on myself drinking about 40- 44oz of water and 1 b complex vitamin. My urine was a little more pale than usual but still had color and was not clear. The test strip was negative with a strong t line. I have begun taking a creatine supplement from GNC today and will take over the weekend. I will probably test myself a couple more times over the weekend but I feel more confident. I will sub gatorade for water the day of my UA and will take about 40 oz. Wish me luck and I will follow up with my experience.

Did my pre employment UA at Quest Diagnostics today. No big deal. They filled out my form from the employer and then checked my ID. I was shown to an examination room where I was asked to empty my pockets but they did not check if I actually did. They then showed me to the restroom where I was asked to wash my hands and pee into the cup. Blue water in the bowl and I was asked to not turn on the faucet or to flush after finishing. Door was closed and I was all by myself. When I was finished thay asked me to witness the sample being readied for their courier pickup and that was it. They told me it would take about 5 business days for the results.

I did not sub although it would not have been a problem from my experience. I tested my self at home prior to going ang came up negative and I did a mild dillution with about 40 oz. of gatorade. I passed 3 home tests prior to today and have abstained for 25 days before today so I feel very confident that all is well. I think I will stay off the cannabis for a little while longer until I know all is cool with my new job.

Well I did my UA at Quest on the 15th of June and it is now the evening of the 24th and I am still working. No calls from HR, the recruiter or my boss. I am going to go with I passed and all is fine and the Co. isn't going to say anything because we all knew I would pass, right.
