Im gonna be growing soon for first time, been researching alot, great forum!
1. How many lights do i need (CFL) for 1 plant
2. Does it matter these seeds are from shitty weed?
3. How much weed will a small plant make if its female
4. What chance that its a female?
5. When they say root down when planting, does that mean the white thing coming out of seed goes down?

Depends, for one plant you could prob start it with one 40 watt CFL 6500k Daylight, but it would be better if you had more. Im currently working 3 of mine under a 27watt 6500k daylight cfls and they are getting nice. Its up to you if you want to use shitty seeds, I didnt want to spend 100 bucks on cream seeds since it was my first grow, so I say, use em, It does depend on how long you grow your plant for and how long your flowwer it for, and yes you do plant the root part down in the soil, maybe 6mm deep, a bit more if the root is long, you dont want the plant to stress peeking its head out. As well if your going to use cfls, keep your lights maybe an inch from the plant, it will take some time to figure the best distance, to close and the leaves will start to yellow. Happy growing.

hey italiano, do I have to post a certain number of times before I get to add a sig? Id like to add my grow log at the bottom of my posts. any help???
Not sure, but you can go to UserCP Under setting and options on the left hand side there should be a edit signature click that, then at the top will be a picture of a World with a chain looking thing underneath the smiley face. Click that and paste in the URL to your grow log, then hit ok. Once that happens it will be in your sig and will have 2 links in it. The first is to link the actual page and the second one (which is the same as the 1st and will be highlighted) you can write whatever the name of your log is in it.

ive grew some of the best weed from shitty mexmersh so you might find something nice
i germinated my seeds for 3 days, about 10 of them, none of them sproted what is wrong, also, when they meen seeds dry out, does that mean they could of died in my bag of weed?
I germinated my seeds for 5 days. I found the best way is to put them in a small glass of water for 24 hours regardless if they sprout. This will help the water penetrate the seeds shell and start the process. Only 24 hours in the water. Most of the seeds should drop to the bottom in 24 hours, some may not, tap them, they may sink. Then I used the paper towel way to continue the process. You dont want to drown them, and you dont want them to get to cold. I used 4 pieces of paper towel, then used another 4 and made a sort of tunnel with one part so that air can get in. Air, warmth and moisture. Be patient. It is possible your seeds are dead tho. Hope that helps

How are they coming along.
I keep hearing shitty weed gives shitty seeds, but no one explains their definition of shitty. Bud can look awesome and smell great but not affect you when you smoke it. I consider that shitty weed. Now take your average bag of shwag. It may look horrible from being compressed and taste bad because it wasn't flushed or not dried before compressing or a hundred other reasons, but when it was harvested it could have been top quality. Bag seeds sometimes turn out the best quality. So don't think the seeds won't be worth sprouting just because it came from a really cheap bag. I save any seed I come across as long as I enjoyed the smoke. If I get a bag and I start wondering if it is actually cannabis because it is so bad i don't keep any seeds I find.
I save alot of seeds and put them into different catagorys. some commercial stuff works good for outdoor grows.Quote:

But ya, seeds are seeds, weed is weed, as long as it has thc in it you should get high. remember to, the herb might be shitty if it wasnt grown right, cured right, theres alot that goes into the actually final product, like alot of people have said, shitty bag seeds have been some of their best crops. Just try it out, unless you want to put out 100+ on 10 seeds lol.
