This is first grow until i get my new light to grow some dank.
Anyways, i just started germinating the seed today just 1 plant for fun and to pass some time... I made a grow box in my computer desk.

2 lamps(1x=75watt, 2x=40watt)*Nothin special this is just for funzies*

My computer is infront of it so i am using that as a fan, and the back is pushed out for circulation.

No aluminum foil, period. It creates hot spots and is unefficient for your plants.
I;m not so sure about using your computer as a source for moving air around.. seeing as how the fan is in your computer to blow hot air out of the computer. You are basically blowing hot air at your plant which is well... backwards
Actually my computer doesn't blow air out that way it takes it in, and my pc has 6 fans.
If i have too, I will use a fan for it but i am doing a dry run with thermostat see how it will fair.
We will see how it handles i haven't gotten mylar yet. And i dont have it completely filled with aluminum foil. Just few spots to do some reflecting.Quote:

Also what are you using for soil? don't use any thing with too strong of nutes in it. time release soil will either help kill or delay your harvest.

some of these threads get more ridiculous every day ... why not grow a plant inside a thimble, using a Bic lighter for a lamp, and butterfly wings for air movement ? ... you kids have me worried about the future :(

I think we should have more of a breakdown in grow sections similar to icmag so that grows like this can be appropriately placed. We should have a section for just auto flower strains, a section for micro/mini grows like this one, and then your usual indoor/outdoor sections, and finally maybe a section for advanced growers/techniques. I know we have a few of these but it could be broken down a little better. I personally wouldn't want to grow anything unless I was getting at LEAST an ounce out of it. It's an expierment because, I really dont care about it i am just doing it for fun... Because last time christmas was around i had gotten quite a bit, and have a bunch of seeds. I am waiting to order my light this weekend so i can grow that kush :stoned:Quote:

Yah, i cant stop thinkin about it.. I had a half pound of christmas bud and found enough seeds that if i wanted more i am sure id have more then a few females....
you'd think so, I started 12 and 8 turned out to be females. your odds are atleast 50/50. of course I did see a log on here where someone started 4, 1 died and the other 3 turned out male. LOL but I'd say that's pretty rare.Quote:

No i am talking about my other seeds... I am ordering light today.. And i let my friend have the plant that sprouted cause i am germinating a lemon diesel seed i found. So ill update when this seeds ready to be a seedling... And i am not doing it in my pc desk anymore... Going to get some mylar too, tomorrow.
