DXM - High Doses

I've done DXM 5 times before, over the span of about half a year. I've gotten really fucked up off it before, but I'd like to reach total dissassociation, preferably without dying.

I don't do DXM because I'm scrounging for a high. I do it because I feel it's got extremely interesting effects and can make for a very enjoyable night with a friend.

So, how much should I take if I weigh 250lb/113kg. I'm looking to ensure I'm nowhere near reaching a fatal dosage, but I'd really like to go as far as safely possible. I'll be using off-brand Tussin with only DXM as the main ingredient. My highest dose has been an 8 ounce Tussin followed by an additional 2 ounces from my friends bottle.

Anyway, information is appreciated. Advice is appreciated as well, but "drinkin coff medisin? styuped kidzses!" isn't.

do 2 8 ounce bottles, thats like 1416mg, that'll be a real dissaccociative trip. ld 50 is at around 2000mg so u shouldnt die

If I was one of those 1 in 10 caucasion's who couldn't properly metabolize DXM ((The first time I used DXM was also the first time I'd ever tripped, and I tripped for 2 days. Off about 700mg dxm)) would that make doing larger doses a health risk?

are you sure you were 'tripping' for 2 days and you werent just out of it, cause its normal to feel out of it and generaly weird for a few hours to a day after you trip, and since it was your first time tripping on anything you might not have been able to distinguish when the trip ended.

but you could be one of those caucasians so id be careful about doses, if you tripped real hard off 700mg id say go to a 1000mg and see how that is then go for higher doses another day if you can handle that amount.

Yeah. I probably wasn't really tripping as much as I was just mind-fucked as an after effect from my first 'trip'.

1. DXM is considered to be quite safe, even at doses well above those recommended for medical use (10-50mg). A handful of fatalities have been reported from DXM-alone (more are reported from DXM combined with other drugs), but the dosages taken for these fatal overdoses are uncertain. A paper by Gosselin in 1981 estimated the lethal oral dose of between 50 and 500mg/kg (2,500mg for a 120 pound adult at the low and conservative end of his estimate).

Common 200 - 400 mg
Strong 300 - 600 mg
Heavy 600 - 1500 mg
Risk of Death 2,500 - 20,000 mg

lol why would it say Risk of Death 2,500 - 20,000 mg... and not Risk of Death 2,500mg+, i doubt anyone would take 20,000mg, or be able to get ahold of that much... lol thats dumb.

Sounds like your overweight and already have a high strain on your heart due to the extra fat and colesterol that has been in your diet over the years. Plus if you already have clogged arteries, your blood pressure would be higher also. You'll probably risk an anurism (heart or brain) with a higher dose. Sorry to be blunt but you asked.
