So I step outside my front door and while walking down my hill I see.....POT?!?!?!

I am pretty convinced this is weed....I hear people say oh its A weed not THE weed or its ragweed..etc...googling shows nothing close to looking like this and if it was A weed then why doesn't it grow anyplace else other than that little cluster area? Anyway...onto the pics...

I think what you have is a cinquefoil, aka potentilla. It will have yellow or white flowers later in the season and the shape of the leaves can vary with the species, but I'm pretty sure that is cinquefoil. Look it up.

I'd have to say your right as it does look similar...however during my google search I did not find any that have 7 leaves like what I have found.

BTW the first pic i posted shows 5 but there is r eally 2 more attached at the bottom you can't make out because it's so small...click on the middle photo i posted and enlarge it and check out the different leaves and you will make out 7 for most of them

hmmm...weird...in any case my friend took them home...so I guess i'll see what happens lol. I live with a huge pothead so I figured he tossed some seeds out onto the hill.

The reason I thought this was so weird was because of it not being anyplace else around and how out of place it looked. Never seen that before...there's another still growing so i'm going to let it go and see what happens. I'm leaning towards you guys just because I can't imagine being that lucky lol.

You need to do more research that is not cannabis, not even wild ruderalis and next time you think you found marijuana leave it, someone possibly put hard work and time into their plants... and besides you really think it would be female?

why the fuck just because you see cannabis you automatically have to assume someone put hardwork into it.. if that shit is wide out in the open I say take it. If someone is that dumb to plant it there then they don't deserve to harvest it. If you see a plant growing in an odd spot it's most likely just some seeds somebody threw down. That shit grows all over the place in the path where we used to smoke and throw seeds all the time... no biggie

But yea that isn't even wild cannabis.. you might want to do a little more research

dude I don't give a fuck if someone put hard work into it..its on MY hill in PLAIN VIEW....If someone has a problem with me ripping their shit up they can come talk to me about it, but i'm not going to listen to a damn word they say because it's on my property

Why the hostility? It appears Chip thought the plant was not on your property. Obviously, if someone plants weed on your property you have the right to do with it what you want. However, if you were to just come across some weed out in the boondocks, on property which you did not own, what Chip is saying is leave it alone, as it was probably placed there by someone who is conducting a guerrilla grow; basically, follow the Golden Rule of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." If you were growing out some weed, having put significant time and effort into it, and someone ripped it off I imagine you'd be seriously upset. Of course here, it's on your property, so it appears Chip misunderstood - no harm no foul, certainly no reason to start to cussin'.

My bad then...I thought people would be under the assumption of it being on my property by the title of this thread but I should have clarified in the thread....Yeah if I found someones setup in the woods somewhere I would leave it alone...I'd feel bad especially if they counted on that money to live.
