I usually water the medium that they are being transplanted into not the plants medium it's already in. Just a big mess that way, plus you will be able to just slide the root ball out of the container easier if not watered. When you decide to transplant them, let them dry out a good bit then fill your containers your transplanting in. Give them a goooooood watering making sure you don't have any dry pockets in the soil and then put your rooted plants into the medium Then water a little more to get it ALL nice and moist. Then they go underneath the lights and watch them :abduct:

Your more than welcome, I was once where you were and going in not knowing as much as you could is a shot in the dark, but thankfully there are plenty of people that will be willing to lend a helping hand! Probably would have never made it fully through my grow if it wasn't for all the reading and feedback I got from other members! They are my reason for this hobby and enjoying it as much as I do!

Your totally right about that one but this is my third time growing but i want to try a good technique all my other grows were just like i left the plant on how it grew i never pruned anything or never lst'd or fimmed...so i might need some help on that Thanks kid

White Skunk Reg.,Thai Super skunk Reg.,Purple#1 Fem.,Lr2xAk47 Dwarf Fem.
Don't get me wrong there are definitely some strains you HAVE to prune or LST to get the full potential. Then there are others that need no more than a simple FIM one time or just left to grow to reach potential. Just have to know what your working with and what they respond well too.

I was wondering if anyone could let me know if the picture #4 do they look like they are stretching??? Or is it because the soil went down so much i had the soil up to almost the tippy top of the cups but after watering it went down dramatically...Ithink it will be alright for now until like 5 more days then im transplanting and then ill make them the way i want...But let me know what you guys think... Thanks:thumbsup:

jlve187,
Looks like your off to a good germination start. Very nice.
I'll try to take some pics tonight of the seeds we started the other day.
I germed on paper towel, then planted directly to a 6"dia pot.
Probably going to change out the 600w MH conversion bulb I use for my mothers and switch it to an HPS while I'm growing the Lowryder stuff.
Had been running 24/0, mostly to keep room warm, but now with it getting warmer I can cut back to 20/4 or even 18/6 to grow the lowryders and still keep the mothers happy.
btw I subscribed.

By the look of your pictures, it seems your growing outside so yes, I'd encourage you to try all of them if ya like! :D So long as they have their space they will be just fine. On another note if you are trying to keep them discreet, then maybe you should LST them so as you can control how big they get. You gotta remember that your plant will stretch two to three times it's size in flower. So if it's 4ft when it starts to flower it will be 7-10ft (maybe 12, but not sure; never grown outside) when it's all said and done.

They look fine, don't stress. Just put them a little deeper when you transplant up to where the original cotelydon leaves are. Well that's what I do anywho. Just be extra careful when transplanting as not to break the stem of your seedlings. CAUTIOUS is the keyword in the following days!:D:jointsmile:
P.S. Sorry it took so long to respond, buddy was rushing me to come smoke the blunt before he smoked it without me! :stoned:

nice grow jlve. great choices on the genetics as well.
just would like to put my 2 cents in on the clear containers. never had a problem using clear containers all the way through flower. and considering you were just using them to start your seeds, its nothing to worry about. algae will take prolonged exposure to develop and even then im not convinced that small amounts of algae is a bad thing. more oxygen in the root zone. but enough of it could smother the roots I guess :twocents:

White Skunk Reg.,Thai Super skunk Reg.,Purple#1 Fem.,Lr2xAk47 Dwarf Fem.
you can get molasses at any supermarket. you want to get all natural, unsulphered molasses. 1-2 tsp / gal (i think). or you could get something like sweet from your local hydro shop. i wouldn't run the molasses through the hempy buckets but thats just because it worked poorly in coco so i'm guessing it might be similar.

Ok great thanks for your kind words and on the clear containers i had no problems with them at all!! Just everyone tells me that they are bad but they are only in those clear cups for about 3 weeks then transplanted but thanks man!! Also thanks for the suggestion of where to get the mollasses so i need to get the organic kind and unsulfered???? Have you ever used it before???? Looking forward to your response thanks man!!! Appreciate it!!

Unsulphured black strap molasses is preferred, but you can use Grandma's unsulphured molasses and it should be fine.
