please help!! very scared about pre-employment urine test!!

Hello! I have a pre-employment drug screen and I am going absoloutely insane with worry about passing it... I know the for sure way is to buy a drug test before but it is too early for that, so i would just like to hear an educated opinion on my chances of passing, When i take my drug test I will have been 42 days clean, I am 5'3 around 106 lbs with a fairly fast metabolism, since i quit smoking i first did a 7 day detox from gnc and have began working out at least 30 minutes to an hour of cardio every day. Before this, I was an every day smoker for a year in a half, a few bowls a day, thats why i am worrying so much.. so what do y'all think??

Relax 42 days. Just drink plenty of water. Your so clean now I should get you to take my test. LOL.

It is good to hear that from someone! I just had heard of situations of people quitting over 30 days and still being positive, so my anxiety is taking over! appreciate your feedback!!

I am pretty much in the same boat. Just about 42 days. At this point, I am at about 32 days and only getting a faint line on home tests. And that is a hit or miss kind of thing. Pretty depressing....and I am pretty sure my test will be at at a 20ng level....so can only hope I suppose.

You should take a home THC test just to be sure. With the home test, be sure to use the first void of the day.

No its not. A faint line in the T reigon still counts as a line, which is a negative.

burnt - i will for sure buy a home test before to know if i need to practice heavy dillution, the drug test isn't until may 18 and i quit on april 6 so i am going to wait longer before i start testing myself!
jane, i feel your pain, but i have always heard a faint line is still negative! what are you taking the test for with a 20 ng cutoff? i just kind of figured for pre-employment immunoassy it would be 50ng for me

50ng is the standard cutoff. I'd say you'll probably be in pretty good shape because of your small build.
Exercise till 3 days before the UA and then stop. Eat a high fiber diet with metamucil. Don't drink tons of fluid. Just drink enough to stay hydrated. 3 days before the UA change to a high fat diet. Follow the dillution sticky the morning of the UA.
Still a very good idea to have a some test strips to test yourself a week or so before the UA. And do alittle research on subbing just incase you can't get clean.

thank you for the advice killer!! i just bought some metamucil to make sure i have enough fiber in my diet, and will stop working out and eating fatty right before the test. I just bought a thc test and took it and got a very faint line in the t region, but i still have about 3 in a half weeks to go so hopefully i will be getting a darker line by then!! thanks for your input!!!

As long as you've got a faint line you should be good. try testing yourself first thing in the morning with the first piss of the day.

Foxy: Ya I am pretty much the cutoff is 20ng/ml. I would rather not say what it is for. But I am going to go by my physician's office tomorrow to get tested. That is pretty much my last option then I will be tested in one week. Sucks. Yesterday, there was NO line. I got these strips that looks for creatine, ph, nitrate, specific gravity so this week I am trying to work out the best way to dilute as much without setting these off. If the day comes and I am not confident, I am just going to drink a ton and take a dilute. Also, I have some tests that include other drugs and those lines are considerably dark so no matter what, I just know that the test line counts for something.

that is scary that you still aren't getting a line!! what are your "stats", height, weight, smoking frequency? Have you been exercising and eating light after you quit?

Well, I did not smoke for 10 months straight. Then smoked for about 6 weeks straight. 5.9, 160ish (so kinda tubby but not really!) At 41 days clean, I will take the test. I get faint lines some days, like if I try to drink water. If I don't really think about it and test, there is pretty much no line. BUT I went to the doctor yesterday to test myself. She said they test at the 20 level and did not have a clear answer if they use dip or straight lab work. Anyway, after I gave my sample, I tested my home test on that one (I know, kinda crazy). Suprisingly, it was the strongest thc line I have ever gotten! So I was happy to hear today that the results were negative. But here I am again. Pretty much drank the same amount of water that I did yesterday and it was much fainter. I mean I don't know what the hell! I am going to correlate my negative with the strength of the line. Now if only I could find a way to replicate that great sample?!?!?!

The only think I can think of is that I did not take my adderall script for two days. Don't know if that really makes a difference but it is the only thing I can think of. Basically I drank lots of coffee, one cranberry pill at noon, had breakfast and lunch (took vitamin), drank 48-56 ounces of water over the course of the day and then tested at 3:00. Used my dilution strips and it was borderline on the creatinine level. So, who the hell knows? All I know is that that was the best line ever and I also got a negative on a test that was most likely set at 20. Probably not dilute but maybe. URGH What to do...

Oh and I was a heavy smoker those 6 weeks of good stuff. And yes, have been seriously working out and eating healthy.
