Holder Vows To End Raids On Medical Marijuana Clubs
great heads-up  thank you for the post, and the good news :D
I guess this reinforces the statements made by the King County Prosecutor about not arresting ort busting legitimate co-ops, even though they are not eyt legal. That memoradum can be read in the Washington State Medical thread under King County Memoradum. If you are legal and legit, no need to fear the WSP, or the DEA or any law enforcement agency.
And to clarify so its not mistaken to mean only co-ops period should not fear, but to mean no medical user should fear any law enforcement agency if they are using their medicine properly. Its not the Hempfest daily yet where you can partake any where outdoors. Frankly, I love the smell of burning cannabis. Just the smell alerts the senses and makes a person say, "where is it". :D
So fear not people, if you qualify, its your right.
This does sound hopefulQuote:
..."what the president said during the campaign, you'll be surprised to know, will be consistent with what we'll be doing here in law enforcement. He was my boss during the campaign, he is formally and technically and by law my boss now, and so what he said during campaign is now American policy."
You beat me to the post.
Congrads to people in the medical states.
Justice is finally justified.
Its a step in to the right direction.
We will not stop this fight, Till we get what we want.
this man also said he wants to re-enact the assault weapons ban
id rather have my ar-15 than people getting raided
Obama and Gang are gonna take away a lot more than 'assault' weapons ... coincidence, I just found out a few hours ago, California has put my .45/.410 derringer on the ban list (only because the manufacturer didn't pay the required CA bribe fees) ... a 2-shot, single action derringer, now, there's an assault weapon for ya :wtf:Quote:

And I see Holder made it official today to lay off the MJ states. Hopefully its not just talk.
Good stuff:thumbsup:...............does that mean people/C-Ops who were raided in the last month or 2 wont see federal charges??
MAYBE they wont charge you but whatever damage they did during the raid is enough for most people. if they smashed your whole grow op and arrested you, they might drop the felonies but your going to have to start from scratch grow-wise
I hope our cannabis community behaves itself, after any gains we get ... anything they give, can be taken away again ... :( ... we all need to put on a responsible face for society to see :)
Its still going to be tough with the mexicans doing a lot of guerilla grows. It would be nice to curb the greed a little. If Cali was to go ahead and legalize it would pretty much knock the shit out of the big guerilla grows. And hopefully lessen some of the violence.
This is great news! I could see CA turning into the Amsterdam of the States. It is already leading the way on MJ reform. Imagine all the tax revenue possible. However, like everything else, there could be drawbacks. This is a good stepping stone but we're far from crossing the river to the field of green freedom.:hippy:

the demand for weed will not end anytime soon. we need to produce and supply our own demand for it here in the us right now and then watch the border cartels, and all the death and violence that goes with them, wilt and die out.
Wow, I hope so! Imagine no more DEA raids!
But, we still have so many people in prison just for weed! Doing years for it. All those people must be set free! The president could blanket-pardon them all. How great would that be?
I think Ron Paul is the only one that would do something like that, though.
Ron Paul is doing well, just to avoid being put in an institution :D
I, for one, for the life of me, can't not wrap my mind around the fact that cops and federal officers are running around arresting or placing under the fear of arrest, any one who smokes marijuana when the likes of George Bush, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, John Yoo, Rush Limbaugh and a further cast of thousands of scumbags are still walking the streets free men. :wtf:
Quit picking on my hero.lolQuote:
