An anvil would be more appropriate, but well done.

I just wish the dude would have been at the side of the room so Bush wouldnt have seen the shoe flying at him. A sole to the dome of the President would have been historically some of the most epic ownage of our time
I agree this journalist was retarded throwing the shoes where he was.I know it is suppose to be a big insult in the Arab world but, that is like cursing someone out in another language they don't understand. You just don't get the same effect.Quote:

PS. Zeitgeist thank you very much for posting the scene! I had heard about this but hadnt seen it yet.
2 terms summed up in a few seconds
the funniest part to me is that when the guy throw the second shoe the person sitting behind him grabs him by the belt and pulls him down on top of him
I think grenades would have been better.lol
Few thoughts:
1) I think the Iraqi journalist in the light brown suit that was the first to react(on camera, at least) should be commended and given a high spot within the Iraqi government.
2) I assume everyone was heavily screened and metal detected before being allowed into the room, but it's still nice to know that if you manage to get a weapon of some sort into the room, you have about a 4 second grace period in which you can unlash that weapon onto the President of the United States.
3) I like Bush's reaction the first time but he looked like a little bitch trying to bat the second one down. Theodore Roosevelt would have charged the man and beat him with his own shoe. What happened to the days of Manifest Destiny?
I wish they let high priced hookers in to see those meetings, I'd rather see a sharpy, shiny stilleto flying through the air than a harmless loafer.
-High five for Iraqi man who throws shoe at governor bush.
lol. He may be a bad president, he may be a bad person, but I think he would be really fun to hang out with at a party. It's incredibly disgusting but at the same time its also really funny how he makes a joke out of this. I think I can even see him smiling after the first shoe was thrown.
I think Bush should practice up on some good old American-style horseshoe thowing, and bring one along for the next joker that tries something.
lol this made my day...
n bush, dodge of the year ftw!! ahah damn, good reflexes sir
lol n especially after watching harold and kumar, a few ideas come to mind:jointsmile:Quote:

I loved it, funniest thing ever.
it took the secret service so long though. Youd think theyd be watching extremly close with the Pres. in Iraq. I pray that Obama doesnt have those same guards
 ohhh yea.......only person I know who owns a smart bomb factory and says war cost us money......BUSHQuote:

He actually dodged it pretty well. It would have been totally different if he had got nailed. This made it look like they were playing some kind of game --- like a shoe version of Whack-a-Mole.
President Bush is the most simple-minded president we have ever had, and sometimes it really shows. The only times I have ever really seen him look happy is when he is goofing off. Sometimes there will be a news clip of him visiting some factory somewhere, and he gets to drive a forklift or ride a Segway or some other silly thing, and he gets this big goofy grin on his face. He kind of started to get that same grin after dodging the first shoe --- he ducks and when he pops back up he starts to smile, like, "Heh heh! Did you really just throw a shoe at me? Heh heh! I'm too wily fer ya! I'm the dodginator! C'mom! Throw another one!"
He's our first downs syndrome president. We should be proud.
I swear if i saw him i'd shoe him too, Bush is an idiot.
hah saw this on the news other night... nice dodge though, but, lil to the right and bush would have been eating shoe :D
Bush said he didn't know what the guy's 'beef' was.. What a moron. I hate the guy but i wouldn't throw shoes at him. It just trivialises the real issues.
High price to pay for his protest

Not just that, it seems like he got the shit beat out of him in custody.Quote:

It makes you wonder what kind of democracy we've put in place . :mad:Quote:
