Alright, what's your favourite album from one of the most amazing bands ever to grace this earth? Personally, their triple live How the West Was Won can't be beaten...for studio, either II or the fourth album. Or maybe Physical Graffiti, too.

IV or Houses of the Holy
III
Immigrant song! I have it on vinyl. My Aunt owns a storage unit place and when we were cleaning one out I found the record, and when I opened it a pack of rolling papers fell out haha.
That is too cool for words...I have II, IV and I on vinyl, but I really love III: FAR too underrated. Immigrant Song, since I've been loving you, and oh my god, TANGERINE! Moves me like no other.Quote:

IV's one of those rare gems of an album where EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SONG is mind-blowingly great...only other one I can think of is probably Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited. I mean, Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven, Misty Mountain Hop, Going to California, Rock and Roll, etc. all on one album? What a gift to the listener.Quote:

Surprised to see so many for "Physical Graffiti." Imo it's pretty meh compared to their other albums.
Presence from '76
Destroyed many a speaker cone blasting Achillies Last Stand, Nobody's Fault But Mine, and Hots On For Nowhere on ten. :D
My favorite song to "mellow out" on from that album is Tea For One.
I agree IV tops Physical Graffiti, but come on, the second one seriously rocks. Kashmir, the Rover, Bron-Yr-Aur, In the Light, Houses of the Holy, etc., etc...it had a few patches, but its best stuff is up there with the best they ever did, and it's a double one, too! 'Course, this is just my opinion...I can see how it wouldn't be to some tastes, due to its tendency to feel overproduced to some.Quote:

I'd have to give my vote to IV with II coming in close behind... they're both great, but IV is like flawless.
