Weâ??ve convinced ourselves that we are limited. We think we are small when in fact we are very large. Life is a sweet game and we all take it so seriously. We play these games, all of us. Itâ??s a role playing game and we are damned good at it. I am so and so, this is my job, I make this amount of money each year. What school did you go to? Itâ??s funny if you take a step back and really observe this process. We all do it. Most of us anyway. We play our roles good and we often forget that we are playing and not actually living. If you take a step back and observe this, you will see the humor in it all. Who decided this was the way life should be? Go to school, get a job, maybe save enough for retirement, die, repeat. Sounds a little bit like prison, doesnâ??t it? Regulated schedule, routine. A â??prison without wallsâ?�. Thatâ??s what we are in. Is this what we signed up for when we came here? To live only for the sake of surviving and to have a few moments here and there of peace and true happiness? Well, at least I get those two weeks off next summer. Something to look forward to. I guess right now kinda sucks, though. Whereâ??s the joy in life? The upliftment? The peace for godâ??s sake! Who decided it was going to be this way?

We live, learn â??factsâ?� maybe marry and have kids who do the same thing and make the same mistakes that we did and for what? What is this that we are striving for? Such limited view we have. Our boundaries keep us locked, our fears stop us from ever going beyond something. It takes a courageous soul to venture past what is comfortable. But, thatâ??s how things get done. Are you content living solely to survive? Stand up and live if you are not! But the question remains. How do we stand up? How do we live? Am I not living? If you are content where you are, then that's fine. If you want more, then get more. Nothing is ever limited. Nothing.

Would those advocating peace and love only be corrupted by a different form? A different guise? Where is reality? Peace, love, joy, hate, death, fear...opposites, but still a form of control. When you see the "Truth" you often experience peace, but where does that peace come from and if you advocate peace and love, where is that coming from? Does anyone really know what peace is or what love is for that matter?

i think that constitutes as digging too deep... peace, i would think, is a state of contentment. peace, therefore, must be different for each individual, but i would still promote it that everyone is freely able to equally experience their own preferred state of peace.

Blinded by the light is just as bad as lost in darkness. I agree, though, that peace is for the individual to decide and experience. Many new agers/hippies will tell you that love is all you need without even knowing what the hell true love actually is! Many will promote peace and say this is how humanity is supposed to be, but how can someone say something and do another? And who the fuck are you telling me what humanity is supposed to be anyway? :p

This brings up another good question that I hope others will contribute to the discussion. What does it mean to be human? A myriad of experiences for all to enjoy, not one of them being real. Real in the sense that we have control over what happens, which clearly we don't. If you had control, what would you be doing right now? Would we be in such a mess? Would you be such a mess? That's not to say what you experience isn't really experienced, it's just that what you experience is the result of control. And yes, that is digging WAY too deep. I am not speaking conspiracy here, so please don't confuse what I am saying with any of that. Well, perhaps it is a conspiracy. A conspiracy of the mind to control US. And if you don't see it, perhaps you, too, should dig deep. It's always good to go there sometimes and see what you can find out.

To be human for me is to be balanced. Not blinded by the light, not lost in darkness, not controlled. A true human is a being who is beyond light and dark into the realm of creation. Sovereign. Truly sovereign. I see too many people blinded by the light and lost in darkness and not enough balance. Yes, peace is great. Yes, darkness is generally negative and not desirable. It seems that all of creation is bi polar and there has always been a conflict between dark and light. Good and evil. That middle road has always been there, though. Silently Letting the battle wage on patiently waiting until one day it is recognized.

Some thoughts:




Looking around today and really noticing people, I could sense something very common and disturbing among many. Their words, their actions, their selves are full of emotion and much of what is said is backed by fear. I see so much fear in peopleâ??s eyes, they look so lost. Thatâ??s not saying Iâ??m not lost or fearful, I am and I admit that. But I recognize something within me itâ??s there tugging at me, saying, â??Let me out!â?�, but as a wise man once said â??Look at that faded spirit that longs to act in this world, but cannot because the mind is fearful and sets boundaries everywhereâ?�. No excuses, though.

Moments of clarity followed by moments of darkness. Clarity feels like this. Vast space. Vast empty space all around. Joy and peace like Iâ??ve never experienced fill me and I see things with such clarity. It is in these moments that truly sadden me. Because while this exist for the taking, I donâ??t see anyone else taking it. Itâ??s like the stars up above. Nobody really notices it, but when you do, your reality is changed ever so slightly just by glancing up wards on a clear night. So driving down the road, watching other people lost in something, it saddens me almost to the point of tears. People donâ??t realize how beautiful they truly areâ?¦ And that is the greatest sin man has ever faced. We have freedom of expression, but not all can express. We have freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom of this, but really what good is that when you live controlled so that quite literally your soul is crushed into submission by age 30. But all these are really just words. Nothing more. Everything is just that. Signposts, guides. Meaningless unless you live it. And there is no â??proofâ?� like living something. Whatever that may be. Freedom, love, light, peace, whatever. Live it.

If you are free, live it. If you are peaceful, live that. If you are â??enlightenedâ?�, live that. Donâ??t say and not live. Thatâ??s worse then doing nothing. Well, just as bad anyway. It is painfully clear that not many people experience these things. Not many people will in this lifetime and I do believe in reincarnation. That just goes to show you the amount of control we have. We are so controlled, that we are literally told what to feel. Or at least, influenced to feel a certain way. I'll give you an example. Listen to a speech by your favorite president. Something really moving and patriotic. Don't really analyze anything, just listen to it. If you really listen, you might feel emotion build up. That emotion clouds judgment and thus leads to control. Now, watching television, reading a newspaper, seeing the fear and violence that we are drenched in, is it no surprise that we are the way we are? Our outer environment is a reflection of our inner environment.

Ah, I see. We are the universe seeing itself.

On an individual basis, your internal situation reflects your external environment. So, yes, everything is connected and all is one, but you are still an individual in the whole scheme of things. Our internal situation is clearly reflected all around us in the media, the stuff we create, our systems, etc. I believe that we create the universe around us. Life is a playground with an infinite number of options to choose from. While we are the universe seeing itself create, the outside is a reflection of what goes on inside. So, yes, I would agree with you when you said, "we all reflect the world outside of us, as the world outside of us is reflecting us". Nothing is ever absolute, however, there is no one "Truth". Just many versions of it.

In the big picture we are in prison no matter what. We are tied to our one body and one mind. We are stuck on this rock flying through space. We are stuck in this universe and with this perception. So in a way you can never truly be "free". You can change your thoughts and the way you see things, but you can only see them through the 5 senses you have. So we are limited no matter what.

I would argue that the 5 senses are deceivers of reality and provide a rather poor view of it. Those who've explored astral projection and have ingested different forms of drugs/explored mediation know first hand that there are other dimensions to existence. The five senses deceive because it makes everything appear so very real and so very important. Thus, you quite literally become trapped in experience. When you go beyond the five senses you enter the world of PK and psychic ablilites. Another trap if used unwisely. Those are beyond the five senses and you enter the mythical "sixth sense" another sense that is not yet recognized by the scientific community as a whole.

Those abilities usually happen automatically once your consciousness expands to a certain degree (lets not confuse that with spiritual growth, psychic abilities are not a sign that someone is more 'spiritually aware'). So, in essence the five senses are not at all what is. There is much more then that. It just appears that this is all there is and that we truly are limited. That's part of the illusion that Buddhist, Hindus, whatever speak of.

all parts of the body sense the world around them individually and uniquely.
given the same situation to perceive, your eyes will observe the details differently than would your stomach or your kneecap.

Each organ possesses an individual and unique sense of perception.

Iris, have you ever read "The Holographic universe"? Alot of good info in there. Also it might help you wrap your mind around what Wolf is talking about when he says that we are creating reality at all times through all people.

lol i wish i could be more eloquent and specific when i start talking about such matters haha but i never studied this kind of stuff extensively. i have nothing to work off of except a few religious writings from various religions and philosophies, and a whole shitload of time spent pondering reality and the nature of "the" infinite.

eventually all of reality becomes much more significant, from the lowly ant hill to the mighty Everest. as we delve deeper and deeper into infinity, we actually "catch up" to it... so to speak. think of it like a race... we are all born at the starting line, but infinity itself is way ahead at the "present" time, constantly pushing forward into the future. we start out slow, learning all that infinity has left in it's wake, one thing at a time, until either we eventually become desensitized to learning and shut off our brains like many people seem do do, or we become ever fascenated by the limitless boundaries of life that we seek more and more until we start following in the foot prints of the infinite and absorb everything infinity brings us, fresh off the assembly line. so to speak.


it is then that we become desensitised to fear itself, taking no threat to heart, awaiting death with pride, instead of worry... we learn to accept that life is, and life will be, and it makes no difference who is alive, or when they are alive, or where they are alive, because we are all alive, everywhere, all the time.

Stigma420, bloodlines. You'd be surprised at how strong and deep bloodlines really are, from what I've read anyway ;). We are coming to a crossroads. This shift is a strange one, indeed. Many will not respond well to it and wars will be fought, mass confusion, paranoia. Again, go back to the original quote. Who does all this apply to? All the regulations, the Patriot Act, etc, all the things coming in the future? Does it apply to you? Are you not sovereign? They want you as a person, not the You you are. So, if you are free and want freedom, make sure you know what that is before you shout and scream. Live it. Unplug and start living. If you don't know what freedom is, then you look like a screaming child who doesn't really know what he wants. Who doesn't stand for something because all he knows is words, nothing else. That's all we know. The point of this thread was to get people thinking about that thing called freedom and what it truly means, not words, not dreams, real, true freedom. Your ignorance of me is almost insulting , partly because you presume any victim of mine is innocent, secondly by assuming you could succeed where others have failed.

I know exactly what I am and I have a very strict code regarding all people, it's real simple everyone who knows me has heard me utter these words
I can be your best friend or your worst enemy, treat me fairly , tell me if I am out of order but don't ever lie to me, steal from me or try to harm me in any way or I will make you pay.

I hate loudmouthed idiots who think that tough will ever get the better of smart or that muscles are better than brains.

I would love a world where people who feel the way I do were free to rid the world of those who make it such a shithole for people they see as weaker than themselves.

You bring up an interesting thought.

They do seem like one in the same, don't they? Someone may be ignorant of certain things, let's say, weed, and they see it as "bad" and things like that. They are ignorant, not only because they haven't tried it, but also because they refuse to see it. They turn their back on it, on whatever makes them uncomfortable. They do not see the benefits of it, the "spiritual" side of it, the good things. They only see what they want to see. Isn't that true of life, though? We only see what we want to see. We are stuck in our little realities, not venturing past what we feel is the boundary. And so, the mass consciousness refuses to accept certain things and does not see past a certain point. Very limited. "Placing limits on things and boundaries everywhere".

When someone speaks from a place of unbalance, from a place of control, it is obvious. They are speaking from the mind lets say, but they have no idea of any other portion of themselves, they donâ??t understand who they are deep down. So if you speak with this individual and, letâ??s say, they become angry over something. Their words are charged with an emotion. They become angry and lose themselves in the emotion. They are lost in something. Some have this even when they are speaking normally. Lost in some emotion; I would say some form of fear would be what the majority express themselves with. You can even see it in confident ones. Some underlying emotion, something the consciousness latches onto that aids in their false sense of self worth. I say false because it is something that is unreal, illusionary. Unreal might not be the best term because of course it is real, however, it is fleeting and as such it is not concrete, not stable. So, the confidence is shaky and can drop at a moments notice as soon as the attachment that caused the confidence fades. It is quite the dilemma we humans are in, this control that our consciousness canâ??t seem to let go of. And that control of course is thought, mind, â??substanceâ?�, â??formâ?�. There is nothing wrong with form. Form is necessary. Form is. But it is this lack of understanding that form just is that causes great conflict. You cannot have anything without form. Formless, space, Source, God, cannot exist without it. So, it is this symbiosis of form and formless that are essential. It is not leaving form behind, although some choose this. And that is fine, but to be here in this form, yet acting from the formless, that is truly living.

Carl Sagan told us that he got true insights from when he got high. The ideas that came to him where valid. The drug seem to let us connect to our higher self, but it is only available to us dependending on our karmic situation. How honest we are toward our self and how true we are to others also count.
