driving while chroniced

Man, 2 night ago i was driving home, after smokin a few joints(heehee), and I had 20 inutes to get home on backroads. Whoa talk about a trip man. I mean, how can I explain it. First off I didn't know where the hell I was even though i knew the area like the back of my hand. I would stop on th eside of the road and just look around and laugh and then somehow drive off. I get close to home and a police car pops up all of a sudden, but it was a hallucination/imagination moment, because it disappeared. I get in my driveway and I am there sitting in the dark looking for something but I don;t know what, i did this for 15 minutes. I go to sleep dreamin of nothing but girls.

i havent done this, but im gonna. I highly recommend writng or drawing what is going on while you are high. Van Gogh did it with absineth and many musicians did it as well while high. I know a lot of olden writers wrote their stuff while high. It may look like shit the next day of what you wrote, but hey, man its worth the try at least.

Yeah i've been high and got lost driving around in neighborhoods before it sucks

if i'm hella baked and driving at night, i usualy forget to turn off my high beams when drivin past someone :( unless someone is with me then i seem to remember, and there's nothing worse then the asshole who don't turn down his lights and blinds tha fuck out of ya

Yeah, I never drive when high. I enjoy driving too much and I drive too fast to be high behind the wheel. Next time plan you evening in advance so you don't have to drive high. You will regret it when you get caught, don't make cannabis users look like dumasses. :)

First of all, who the fuck are you supposed to be? I've seen two of your posts on these boards and they both say "you shouldn't be smoking, it's people like you who keep weed illegal" or something to that effect.

Driving while baked is fine. It might not be smart in areas you're not familiar with but how often do people get in crashes for driving while high? I have never heard of it happening.

But yeah, lose the attitude.

Yeah, driving high is not an issue. Driving DRUNK I wouldn't recommend...

driving high is awesome. matters about the present moment. I sometimes have to squitn to see through a dirty mirror (i really should clean it) and that isn't fun.

I always notice myself swerving and going way under the speed limit. Not as fun in the dark as in the light. too hard to see.

driving high- not too hard to do once you get used to it. Just don't be smoking any blueberry before :)

Its fine with me.I smoke all the time so im always stoned when i drive.Ive even been pulled over a few times for random breath tests.Sometimes my eyes are red as i do look stoned.I get pulled over a bit for speeding i dont have many points left on my licence.I havent been driving much lately cause im on new pills i seem to get in a bit of a daydream.I dont wanna loose my gold licence.I drive and smoke all the time its good for me i dont get so stressed at traffic lights or if someone annoys me

That said, it is possible to drive under the influence of many drugs and drive well. It is all about individual reaction. A friend of mine who also posts on this board is a great driver and one of the most memorable driving experiences we have had together is this one time when he took 29 shots of 100 proof vodka...he could barely walk, and I bet he couldn't see straight but he managed to drive me a good 5 or so miles to get some tree, then we smoked in a park somewhere and drove back. There was a cop near us a good part of trip, so either he was a dumbass or we really didn't make any traffic violations.

do you realise we are not all the same chemically in the brain so how weed makes you feel makes others feel different.I am more of a danger to myself or anyone else when i am strait.How often does weed kill someone while driving without being under the influence of something else such as alcohol.If u cant do every day things and you smoke than you should reconsider.I can guarantee you have had more accidents or prangs than me in 10 years of driving which equals NONE if you drive that is..And at one stage i was driving 2 hours a day to get to and from work.I dont drink and drive because i know i would be a danger.I used to when i was a teenager im not that silly.Maybe if you are one your the type that posts on here and says they have all these weird hallucinations or whatever from weed should just not smoke full stop weather driving or sitting on your ass at home

i must say, i have driven many a time while stoned, and i have never had a problem, i guess it just depends on the person, cos i smoke most of the time, and i drive fine, never had any complaints from anyone.

matty is the best stoned driver of all time!

I drive while stoned most of the time and havent got pulled over or anything.

Calm down. Yes I agree that driving while high is something to avoid while possible I have gotten into a car with someone stoned behind the wheel. I don't trust them on long rides and I prefer not to drive while high. Intoxication is intoxication, but weed is much lighter than alcohol (this goes without saying).

Who gives a shit if its about individual reaction? Drunk driving kills thousands of people a year and it is AVOIDABLE. Maybe your friend was as functional as you say, but I doubt it. Alcohol is in a completely different ballpark than weed and individual reaction does not rule into it.

individual reaction might in rare cases but never 100% of the time...so the point to all this is...DONT TAKE THE FUCKING CHANCE! its not worth the risk of your life and the person you might be taking with you. i could care less if you dont give a shit about your own life when driving drunk (or doing anything dumb like that) but if you're so self-centered to not be thinking of the people you will hurt(or more importantly...kill) you dont deserve to live. but thats just what i think...i know its crule but u gotta be crule to stop others from being crule :P

Say what you want but i've been with Juggalo420 hundreds of times while he has driven drunk and stoned, on DXM, crack or whatever substance was available at the time from distances ranging from down the street to across the city to several towns over. No matter the situation, at one point he had an unregistered white jeep with no window, a broken drivers seat (we had a piece of wood to keep it up), flat tire and removable steering wheel. I've never seen him drive over 35 miles an hour and the only 'accidents' that have occured were simply backing into poles a few times and this one time when he tapped a car in a CVS parking lot, no damage done and im pretty sure we were sober at the time going to buy cough medicine but not yet under the influence of it.

I have also seen what happens when idiots drive on drugs however and get into accidents and end up in rehabs and come out thinking that they are better than their drug using 'friends'.

like they have "seen the light" :P

Yes, driving while baked is fine. But driving like a complete crackhead while high off your ass is not cool. I agree this dude is a dumbass.

I don't really agree with driving under the influence of anything. I don't care about individual reactions and all of that garbage, either.

That said, there are times when it's necessary to get from point A to point B, and a car is the best way to acheive that goal. On acid once, a friend and me decided to go to another friend's place.... needless to say, we got lost and distracted. A 5 minute trip turned into us going to play at a park, go to wal-mart, and actually loosing our bearings several times. Quite fun, but I can't even imagine what would have happened is someone had hit me or vice versa.

The problem isn't how well you can drive when fucked up, it's how well other people on the road can drive. I trust myself to handle my vehicle well when I'm fucked, but I don't trust other drivers on the road to not hit me when I'm fucked up. I couldn't imagine getting hit.... you'd get fucked over, because you're high. I don't like the sound of that.
