lol... a Doberman wouldn't have bitten the guy. He would not have approached it. People seem to have a lot easier time 'reading' larger breeds, especially when they don't have all that silly fluff over their faces.
I want to see him adopt a rescued Pit. Maybe even one of that douche Michale Vick's dogs. I wonder if they are allowed under the insurance policy on the White House? :jointsmile:

And those dogs were bred for appearance and stature- every time you add one more variable that you MUST have, your chances of breeding-out an undesirable trait in a reasonable amount of time, without sacrificing the scale of how well you are getting the desirable traits, diminish.

And Stinky IS right, that's the main reason why I hate show dogs. They're like those chicks in high school that know they are beautiful, so they act like, well, bitches. I prefer pedigrees that haven't graced the show, from a breeder that actually does breed for character. My personal favorite is the pitbull, second would be rottweiler, third doberman pinschers, and then the malamutes. Of course, it's too hot here for them.
These "hated breeds" have always been the sweetest to me, atleast, the ones who didn't turn out to be fight dogs.
Bulldogs and mastiffs are VERY loyal to their families adn protective of children in that family. The Obamas should get one! Did you know the pitbull used to be called the 'nanny dog' because it was so tolerant of kids?
Really? I can totally see why, haha. One of my friends had a pitbull, and five small children siblings. Fully grown, the dog would always just run away and hide when it just had enough of those crazy kids. She always did greet me lovingly. Rather protective, too.Quote:

I always figured that if I were a celebrity and getting followed by paparazzi, I would tell them on camera "If you guys want to follow me, have at it. But I consider all of you fair game for some martial arts practice". After which I'd hunt them down, any time I saw them following me, and with a big smile give them a thorough ass-kicking.
