Was looking at Rhino Seeds Nirvana NL5 x Haze. I saw it was rated for experienced growers and wondered if anyone knew why? Is this a good strain?
Also any recent info regarding Rhino Seeds would be appreciated....?!
Thanks.

Was looking at Rhino Seeds Nirvana NL5 x Haze. I saw it was rated for experienced growers and wondered if anyone knew why? Is this a good strain?

Thanks.
It's probably rated for more experienced growers because:
#1. It'll probably stretch a LOT, due to its mostly sativa genetics, which make it prone to get tall & lanky.
#2. It may be finicky about its nutes, or maybe you'll need to get the pH just so.
I say try it... Sounds like some good smoke, and if you start out trying to grow the more difficult strains, you'll probably gain knowledge about different aspects of growing faster, which will help you in ALL future grows, regardless of difficulty. :rastasmoke:
You know you can get help with just about anything you need to know, right here at CanCom.
Hit the ground running! :D
Thanks Doobster. I was wondering also about the ad for rhino seeds. they say their Nirvana seeds are 12.49 pounds, but there are no seeds for that price at their website? Am I supposed to tell the web master or something? I am new to site and have read way more than I post, so forgive me if I am missing something here......
Hmmm... I've never investigated the Rhino site, as currently I'm up to my neck in seeds... lol
I'm sure there's a link to their Nirvana selection on there somewhere, have you been able to find that?
Yeah I see what you mean, I just hit that link & went & checked out the Nirvanas & they all say 21.99 Pounds.
I dunno... That's like $44. Certainly a decent price to pay for some good beans, but definitely not as good as 12.49! LOL
I found the site, the Nirvana seeds section, however 12.49 pounds was not on price list. all the seeds from Nirvana were 21.xx pounds each. I just always see the ad blinking, but when I went there no seeds for that price.
Is it a reputable seed place? I have read OK reviews, but not many on a site that is sponsored by Rhino Seeds. I wish more people would tell experiences.
Thanks again everyone.:wtf:
That much I couldn't tell ya Lola.
I have no consumer experience with them.
I will tell you this: Ordering beans from abroad is ALWAYS a crapshoot, because even though the merchant may ship the beans and everything, they still run the risk of being intercepted by the Postmaster & U.S. Customs.
You have to send the money knowing full well that you might not receive your order in the end, through no fault of the bean seller.
Sad, but true.
Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique , nirvanas are like 22 bucks USD
I would not recommend any Haze for a beginner. The long flower time makes soil chemistry in flower difficult to manage, and the stretch means room design is harder to get right.
Stinky, thanks for the advice. I was hoping for a more specific knowledge of why it's harder to grow. What are the pH specifics for the flowering time? etc. thanks again Lola
Same as any other cannabis plant. Managing soil chemistry is universal; managing soil chemistry in a plant that takes 1.5-2x the normal time to flower is a PITA.
haze is just a pain in the ass to grow, pick a good beginner strain like white widow or sour diesel.
Hey Lola, thanks for the rep.. :hippy:
I tried to rep you back but I have to spread some reputation around before I can give it to you again. :rastasmoke:
What strain did you end up ordering? Do you have a grow log started for your new babies? Enquiring minds want to know! :420thought:
Well, I have a sorta grow log. I am listed under Advanced Techniques (experimental things can go here) Under Gardening by the Moon. got so much flak with this technique, now I'm determined to let everyone know how it turns out! Started the babies in Nov. Also started some White Rhino and Cali-Orange. I figure these 3 will be enough for quite some time. Hope I made good choices.
The NL5 Haze don't look anything sativa like at all. They have big fat wide leaves. It's going to be a fun ride, come along anytime.:)
