Is this good enough?......

was in wardrobe with 2 big mirrors & little bit of tin foil (i know! lol) & 2x CFL's(same as below) & TLS tube light & a ickle 11w CFL's for good measure :D

NOW.....
2x 30w(150w normal) CFL's @ 6400K
in a box, painted it all white & got both CFL's sitting in top, temp/humidity gauge near middle & 4 pots on bottom, but will this be ok... started fresh again, so all only in there from germertation at the mo.... bearing in mind i can put the tray the pots are sitting on higher up with a few little boxes etc so there cloer to the lights........

anyways, couple of pics for you lot to pick @ :D (na seriously, want to hear any info poss ;))

PS: box is only about ft tall & half ft wide, so its small which i assume is good for bigger lumens? also no exhaust holes yet.....wheres best place for it? top?

And you need to lower your lights to just about 2 inches away from the plants.

For exhaust, need one sucking air out of the top, and a hole at the bottom for air circulation.

Looks good now though, but what have you got on the walls, they look glossy.

Gloss isnt good, use flat white.

I think its because the matt is more efficient for reflecting than gloss believe it or not:jointsmile:

Just change it when you get some matt white.
Painting on top of gloss with matt may need a few coats as the first coat more than likely will look streaky. anyway good luck to you.:thumbsup:

just wondering whats your thoughts on this lil plant?..... bearing in mind, all other seeds i had seem to die (or decieded to grow upside down:wtf:) so only got one on go at mo, other germinating ones are taken AGES!.......

anyways, is SHE(:D) looking healthy enough to you pros so far?

Looks good to me bro. You have plenty of lumens for that little box so just keep the temp down and the lights close and she (:D) will turn out sexy for sure.

Explain your trouble with germinating?

Actually looking at your previous post, you said you have 4x150W, but I think you meant to say you have 4x30W, even if the incandescent equivalent is 30W=150W.

Light should be ok for now, obviously the more lumens the better, especially when they grow big and strong.

yea 30w(150w) ;)

adds up to about 8000 lumens..........suns 10.000 lumens so 2000 out, not to bad, + its in that small white box & its BRIGHT :eek: lol.........

temp still @ a nice 75F ish & humidity @ 50-60%

its close to the lights ;) ..............but as theres only one at the mo, do you think its better to be directly under 2 of the bulbs or in middle of all 4? bearing in mind being in the middle, it aint directly under all 4 bulbs....

the germinating thing, iv had few dark seeds in wet kitchen towel in dark on top of router & they havent split yet.....been about 5days now.......BUT, some seem to have furry mould on them now, would this boher the other ones? & are the mouldy ones finished!?

MIRRORS suck. they absorb more light then they actually put out.
MYLAR is the shit.
Aluminum foil will work but isnt very reflective either.
do you wanna reflect 50%, 70% or 90 %?

Did you paint with flat matt, mirrors absorb light.:)

lol nope ...........on a PROPER tight budget at the mo, so cant be buying paint, will do asap tho ;)

silk paint
2x CFL's for 5days
added other 2 CFL's 3days ago

so thats 8days under not near good lighting

but it looks healthy wouldnt you agree?......3rd set of jaggerd leaves are starting to come through now
