They have been saying Obama will be on tonight, but then I googled it all I see is sites saying Obama WILL NOT be on. So what is it, is he going to be on because someone changed their mind somewhere, or are those articles up to date and correct?

last time i checked he was going ahead with his plans
he's gonna be on on 5 different stations, so check either one and see for yourself, however I don't know the times
it's not all that important, this is for the last remaining undecided voters, jeez, i wonder how can one still be undecided lol
EDIT:
CONFIRMING HE WILL BE ON AIRWAYS @ 8 pm EST
source Barack Obama and Joe Biden: The Change We Need | Amanda Scott's Blog: Watch Barack Tonight at 8pm EST
Oh, so maybe it was just the one station that isn't having him. Thanks for the info.
I'm decided, I just don't want to call it quits until it's all said and done. Make sure there isn't something I missed. My mind is always open to being changed, just as long as it's given a good reason to.
i saw obama's 30 minute broadcast tonight and it was a masterful piece of political propaganda
I dunno why they wasted the money for that really?:wtf:
Letterman had a good line tonight, regarding the Obama infomercial: "The last Democrat that spent that much for a half hour was....Spitzer". ;)
^^
In a whispering voice.
Please, your avatar, it.., it's...., making me feel funny...down there!:stoned:
if obama didn't waste the money for that, he'd have to burn the cash or make furniture out of it...he's only got a few days left to spend hundreds of millions of dollars...it would be a good reality tv show
I watched it, and I thought it was pretty good. Some of it was sappy, especially the background music. But overall it was a pretty good, well-produced, and enjoyable show. The best thing about it was that it was a 100% positive message. The show did not mention McCain in any way, especially not in any negative way. Compare that to McCain's sleazy smearfest, and you can see why McCain comes off as so small and petty these days.
The show told the stories of ordinary people in America who have different kinds of problems and challenges, and described how Obama's policies would help those people.

mccain should make a 30 minute propaganda film too...there wasn't enough time in the debates and the 10 second news clips to properly explain his plan
McCain would spend 30 minutes about why Obama is a black, Arab, socialist terrorist, and baby killer, and he would never get to his plan. "My friends, I have run out of time..."Quote:

mccain does have a plan for america (besides attacking obama)...he should produce a video about it, pehaps in a town hall setting, or amongst a random angry mob armed with pitchforks and torches
back to the obammercial:
he didn't clearly explain how he was going to deal with the debt, or medicare, or social security...those problems are going to swamp the federal government
People are sick of all the political shit and when they get home from work and TRY to turn on one of their favorite t.v. shows what do they get? OBAMA!! REAL good plan to sway the undecided voters.
Have a good one!:s4:
We'll see how it turns out. I agree that it was sort of a risky move in some ways to throw something like this out there at this point. Why rock the boat when you are ahead? But I thought it was well-done and could sway some undecides. We shall see.Quote:

Much of everything that's seen on TV this past year has been propaganda.Quote:

3: ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause ; also : a public action having such an effect
there's good propaganda and bad propaganda...obama making a video about his presidential plan for america where nobody can question him is definitely propaganda...whether that is good propaganda or bad propaganda depends on the individual receiving the message i guess...i thought it was reasonably good: positive, slick, personal, emotional...obama could have won an oscar if he included a love interest and a car chase in the plot
It was more of a drama than an action flick, but definitely Oscar-worthy. My wife got a bit misty-eyed near the end, but then she also cries during detergent commercials.Quote:

Great commercial, Can't wait for Mccain's Joe the plumber and joe 6 pac maverick movie, oh wait it's never gonna happen. I love how they complain about Obama spending money when they fund Sarah Palin's wardrobe. Obama just has a better campaign with a better message, more positivity and oppurtunity.
if people have not made up their mind to this date about who they want to side with, im sorry to say they totally deserve the pain on this one:DQuote:

but if ya still undecided after all this longass political campaigning season started back in 2006/7 then its too bad for u, cuz that is exactly why 5 channels were doing this thing: TO GET U TO FREAKIN MAKE UP UR MIND, either go with obama or against him!
undecided voters at this point in the run, are really not my favorite type of people, i mean how can u still be possibly 'uninformed' with all this shit going on for the past 2 years, come on, college kids hardly get involved in politics in a massive way, however, politics is the only topic u hear around these days in college in every single corner! even from the total junkies and losers n pill poppers who would normally pay no attention to news n politics
Turns out that ratings for the networks that ran the show were a lot HIGHER than normal. Some 33 million tuned in for it, and on a mormal night, those networks would have had about 21 million viewers.Quote:

I bet that the guy has never heard of "cannabinoid receptors". He is oblivious to the fact that cannabis and morphine act on different pathways, within the body.
