My little seedlings have nice fuzzy roots sticking out of their rapid rooters. Is it ok to move them to the 3 gallon ebb and flow pots with higromite, or do I need to put them in an intermediate pot first, like a 3" net pot? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Move them to the ebb and flow now. You can slice down one side of the rooter and wash the rooter off in a bucket of ph water. Sound like alot but it's easy. The sooner you get them to the system you have and veg and flower there they will do much better. Only reason for washing off the rooters are so your air roots don't stay wet in hydro. Root rot is bad.
Changing from pot to pot in hydro only slows you down.
Loc Nar you are EVERYWHERE these days you wild man! :D I actually just leave mine in the rapid rooter and transplant it but Im sure Loc Nar's suggestion would work just as well. As he says.....time for them to go to the next class. :)

Let me warn you that I'm nor really familiar with the ebb and flow system (I use 24drip) but would be happy to help in any way I can. If it's something I don't know anything about (and there is a LOT of that about :D)I'll tell you and I'm sure others like LocNar, Stinky etc have a wealth of advice to offer as well. :)
Bigguns I've got some experience w/ the Ebb n Flow...you said your using WH's nute schedule....I too would put them into the EnF system now...I would leave them in the RR too.
WH, padawan is a Star Wars term...he might as well been in the boom boom room w/ WT, DB, & myself....lol....

If you or Biggins starts a log I'll be happy to come over and offer what I can......but remember that I'm only human and make (many) mistakes as well. A lot of what I do I do because its the way I was taught and so am DEFINITELY not as familiar with growing "as a whole" as someone like Stinky or X-Crispi. What I DO know about I'll be happy to babble on about but that's honestly less than you guys think. Truth. :)
