High all,
Pics up of the set up when its all here and installed on Mon, tues... Right now the flowering room has roughly 20 clones being kept good for a week under 4 23W 2700k CFLs, and 4 2ft T12 40Ws. New set-up is as follows:
VEG:
8-Jawdrop clones(HKxBI#4 CRAZY pheno..leans WAY BI)
1- HUGE Church going into flower soon (5gal)
1-Jawdrop bonsai mom
1-Church clone to be new mom
5-NCDG seedlings (hope for a mom and dad here)

FLOWER: (these area all SOG plants) just put in
5-HKxBI#2 clones (just for some extra yield, not enough clones of JD ready)
3-Smashberry#1
4-Jawdrop
2-Church
Last of Episode 4 coming out in a week tops:
3-Church, chopped today
3-HKxBI#1 (More HK pheno)
1-Smashberry#1
2-Jawdrop

New set-up:
-MG organic mix
-FF nute line
1 and 5 gal pots
2 600W Hortilux Super HPS
2 cool tubes
2 Digital Greenhouse ballasts
424 CFM inline fan with carbon filter
1 9K portable AC
2x7 grow space
6-23W 2700K CFLs

One cooltube will have an open end about 8 in from AC vent. 2ft space of 6in duct and the other cool tube. From the other side of that, ducting with ONE bend up into the attic, where the fan will be mounted hanging on bungee cords with the filter on the exhaust. The 2 digital greenhouse balasts will also be mounted in the attic. The 3 twin bulb CFL set-ups will be mounted under the canopy on the walls for lighting to get to the bottoms of the plants and undersides as well.

That BI has just begun to get some buzz. IC keeps deleting threads on it since Plan B is not a registered vendor with them unfortunately. It will be great for the cannabis community as a whole to see this outstanding classic hash plant type hybrid grown out, and used for breeding.

WT there is only one seedbank I know of that sells BI and it is BC Bud Depot... I fear them.
Check cannasseur and see if you can find anything, or seedbay- thos 2 often have stock from lesser known breeders.

In your opening post did you use acronym's in the description? If so could you please tell us the full name so we can learn more on the linage:thumbsup:

I have no idea what BI#4 means:( Also where is this Church from? from your previous grows it looks like a winner strain.

HKxBI= Hindu Kush x Plan B Black Indica
I grew out quite the handful o beans from a great friend, and found a winner! Mrs Jawdrop I have named her. 4of my buddies where over, and after 10min on a single doob, we were all watching revolver slack jawed as hell...lol

Church is a Greenhouse seeds strain, relatively new, and I lucked out and got a superb pheno outta those. There has been A LOT of germination problems with this strain, and GHS has stopped selling them ti they get it fixed. But DAMN, is it a good smoke. wait till you see the cutting from the plant in Episode 3 soon as I can post pics. Hmm, maybe SnS can post em for me....heh

NCDG is NorCal DaddysGirl. Which if I am correct, is a Cindy99 x G13-Haze. Glorious strain that I am sure you have heard of around these threads.:jointsmile:

Smashberry is a Purple Kush x Blueberry cross that I was not too impressed with, so I cloned out the mum and flowered her just for extra nug.

That would be nice. And after this grow, not sure SOG will continue either. Goin for some bigguns. Pics up soon. Had to make a lot of unfortunate decisions since my other lights and ballasts still arent here.

Few pics of the Church thats getting ready to go to 5gal. DAMN I cant wait to see this girl come out!! 1.6oz off of the one with 2 branches only in episode 3, and that one was ony 2 in taller at harvest than this one is now.

Weedy,...(you are the shit) YES, the ONE bean that sprouted 5 months ago has had 4 clones taken the first time, which were the 3 SOGs in episode 4, and this one....Good shit huh. Took 3 lil clones off this one to make a new mom or 2. Im thinkin 6oz MIN from this girl. She goes in flower next week when the new ights are all set up...

Next to talk about is because of my lighting issue, (see first post) had to change up whats going on. Had to move these teeny clones straight into flower, because I had to cut the bonsai...getting too big.

So the clones in the tray are all JD. The 5 styros are the NCDG. Pic of the JD bonsai. these NCDG and JDs will be in styro till almost rootbound. Then to 1 gal for a week, into flower they go. with a mum of the NCDG and HOPEFULLY a dad kept behind. Possiby going to 50gal tubs by then...dunno yet

And the tray of clones in the flower room are all going in this tub. Had to move em in bloom, so this is the way to go IMHO. The tub is a 10gal...plenty for these 15 lil clones. They will harvest with the big ass church. and in a monthish, the JDs and NCDG will be going in there to return the perpetual garden to monthly.

Thanks dro! That Church is MASSIVE. U cant really tell in the pic, but there are over 12 strong ass tops on her. Such a bushy plant. WH, or anyone else growing church....you feel the need to clear out some leaves inside because of light penetration? this thing is that damn bushy. Had to thin it out a lil.

I will on the older LARGEST leaves if they get in the way......otherwise I do my best to leave as many as possible (sorry...pun). The Church I grew had HUGE leaves that really could have shaded your entire house so some of them had to go.

NOT including the 8 23W 2700k that will be below the canopy for lower nugs, I will be at 90W/sq ft!!!!! Fo sho...lookin to be pulling some serious weight outta here...

I think mine is mixed with PP......doesn't have those big lovely leaves the other one had.

Is your church SUPER SKUNKY smelling?

Mine is from the originals, not the mix. The mixed ones arent popped yet. This is all from the same cut of the solo seed that made it when no others would germ. She has the big ass leaves, lol.....Oh does she.
The smell....is VERY strong. Almost incense(y). Very clean, in the woods kinda smell. LEDs might have interfered with the terpene production, not many of what I gre under those smelled. But the Church...She is by far the reekiest(?) girl grown in here. Even in veg, she stank so nice:stoned:

Haven't vaped yet, but she retains the incensey smell transitioning to like a piney fresh forest kinda smell.

Two biggest drawbacks in hydro....imho

1. Has to be monitored at LEAST daily; preferably twice a day for best results
2. Can get expensive.

Do you mean expensive initially? Because it seems the cost is all initial investment which would breakdown pretty cheaply over several grows.. compared to buying bag after bag of quality soil (FFoF).

I just like the idea of having a completely reusable medium instead of having to find ways to throw away dirt. That and it's easier to flush out 1 resevoir and mix up nutrient solution than it is to constantly have to drag plants to and from the bathroom.

At least that's my reason for wanting to take a dip into the darkside. :thumbsup:
