Howdy.
My last grow I dried indoors, but it dried way too fast, in like 3 days stems snapped.
The RH is really low, about 30% at best, but can be lower.
Would a cool mist humidifier be a good thing?
Some folks that deal with this low RH crap please chime in. What do you do to slow down the drying process?
I am going to cut and hang the whole plants in tact, I know that will slow it a little, but I am really thinking I need to use a humidifier to up my humidity. What are some thoughts to this specific situation? How do the rest of you SoCal folks do it? I mean the rest of you that do it right! Not the ones that get airy, hay tasting buds, I already perfected that.
I realize that curing will be the other half of the equation, but even with a 2 month cure on my last round, they were still horrible and I would not smoketh them.
I have also wondered about paper bagging them, but don't understand how that works exactly?
Any and all experienced dryers and curers that live in very dry climates please help a brotha out!
