Rhizome, need your expertise.
I have scoured the web to determine the best 600 W HPS. Any ideas? Not just your favorite bulb people. I want some stats with it. If you can find spectral graphs, all the merrier. Thanks

I have tried a few 600's and for total quality I would say the EYE line by Hortilux. I have had the Grow Bright that claimed 95k lumens but the Eye will last longer and I think is much brighter. Its a difference of 50 bucks but you get a lot of quality with that EYE.
I got my eye on the Sunmaster 600W Super HPS. 90000 lumen and 215 PAR watts. Cant find PAR for the hortilux. Found a few graphs...HTG sells the hortilux and sunmaster, but rates the sunmaster better, even being 30 bucks cheaper....

Rhizome.....how about these dual spectrum bulbs for flowering?

Since I don't even know what a PAR is all I can say is my hydro man recommends the hortilux eye as being "the best." Sorry, no graphs, charts etc....just that statement. :D
Ps..If your episode three thread is so dead why does everyone keep writing on it?
Something of interest.
Nice graph dutch! email me at yahoo sns_stealth.....
Weedy, I tried killing the log again today, lol. PAR watts in laymans terms is how many watts of plant "Usable" watts are being emitted. I think.
It seems to be between the eye hortiluxe and the sunmaster super

So it looks like horti has more blue, sunmaster has more lumens....I think

Don't have PAR readings available- but the Horts have consistantly been good for ~11% increase in yeild over the SunMasters, when I've run side by side.
I'm a Hortilux guy,all the way- check out their Blue Halide line. Freakin awesome.
Concur. After switching to HortiBlue400 my moms have been giving me -NOT KIDDING- 4x or more then number of clones that I had been getting off the no-name MH250 I had them under previously. It's not just the watts. It's the quality of that light, which is exceptional.Quote:
