NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Howdy folks.. Im new here,so I though I would jump right in.. Ive been growing some PeakSeedsBC strains, most recently and Im very happy so far.. Med grade potency and fantastic flavor and aroma.. Im running NorthernBerry and Skunkberry(the seedlings) and I will probably start flowering in about a week after I transfer the ladies into 3 gallon grow bags of FF OF soil... They have been under T5's and there all fat and dense.. Ill move them under some HPS and Halide so they can stretch a little.. Here are some photos under a T5.... peace d:rastasmoke:

dlovjah, those pots are kickin'. I also use T5's thru flower. They are much better to deal with on heat issues. I use the 4 foot 8 bulb fixture with 2 additional side lights. The one thing about the T5's that I found is I always have to fight for light. Have found that even 5 plants are too many to get a real good yield. Pulled 7.5oz from 5 Hashberry last year but I had to work for that. Had to turn the plants and move them around everyday due to the lack of lighting. Also had to keep a very even canopy so I could get them as close to the fixture as possible. Mandala, the seedbank I use is shut down for now and I am searching for something new to play with. I only do this once a year so it has to be excellent smoke. Looking for an Indica for medical issues and also because I don't feel the T5's could handle large Sativas. Let me know if you come across a good Indica strain. I went to Nirvana and it seems that they don't take cash. The search continues....

Hi turksteelman... Ive never used the T5's for flower.. I will try it when I have room to experiment.. Though... I love Mandala seeds... I guess Mike was very ill and now they will be up and running in January... Ive tried a lot of their Strains, Sadhu, Hashberry,SpeedQueen, White Satin and Mandala 1..Ive got lots of pictures of all these in flower... I flipped 1 day ago and I have 3 confirmed females of NorthernBerry... Ill post some new pics soon..... d:rastasmoke: Purple Pots for Everyone. I recommend PeakseedsBC they take cash and IMO's and their strains are really good and affordable...

NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Amazing...
What type of soil are you using? Also what kind of nutes?
-
NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Hi DTR,Doobs and thanks for checking my grow out Topher31... I use Botanicare PureBlend Soil Formula both the veg and bloom formula.. I used to use FoxFarm which I still had good results with but Pureblend is 100 organic and will not burn your plants like FF has a tendancy to do, because of the huge amounts of ammonium based nitrogen in it... Pureblend is 100% organic!! Throw in some Sweet or Molasses during flowering and your buds are fragrant and tasty.. I always use FoxFarm OceanForrest Soil IMO a very well made organic potting soil. More soon, My Skunkberrys are starting to show sex....d:rastasmoke:

Hey dlovejah, out of all the Mandala strains, have you found any good Indicas? All I have experience with is Hashberry and I think thats a great strain.
-
NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Hi turksteelman... The Mandala strains are all indica/sativa F1 hybrids..Really some othe most beautiful plants you will see. The closest Indica type high is WhiteSatin but your looking to med for sleep and knockout punch I cant really recommend any of the strains mentioned.. Mandala strains are great but IMO very cerebral creative up highs.. I love some Hashberry turksteelman!! A couple of Pics for you of WhiteSatin and then back to the Northernberry and Skunkberry.. d:thumbsup::rastasmoke::hippy:

Hi Fellas... Thanks for checking in... Cant wait until I get a little more going so I can stop watching theses plants grow!!! Beans are on the way!!!(Ch9 strains and NorthernSkunk) Getting ready to clone Skunkberry because I ended up with 3 beautiful females out of 5.. I will flower 2 of them once I put them in 3 gallon or 5 gallon bags... No comparison in the vigour the Skunkberry has almost caught the Northernberry which is a good 2 weeks ahead... Im 5 days in on the Northernberry and its like watching paint dry.. This starting over stuff is tough brothers...:rastasmoke::rastasmoke::rastasmoke:d I need flowers!!!:wtf::wtf::wtf:

Which CH9 strains did u buy?
Pete liked the work i did on the last grow and sent me some sample of:
10 humboldt
5 aroma
5 g bolt
5 neville colombian
5 shanti super haze
5 citral
This should keep me busy for a little while! Trust me the beans are great....so far 100% germ rates....and they can take crazy abuse. Cant wait to see some more pic Jah! :rastasmoke: Respect!

Hi ya Killa... I got Jack and Mendicino ,pretty excited, to get those beans!! Sounds like your going to be busy for a while... Well I ended up with three females out of 5 plants, on my Skunkberrys And Im sure I have the pheno Im looking for and will turn her into a mother. The structure of this plant is excellent and compact and the stems are dark purple red where as the other two phenos are green.. She smells even in veg of blueberries and maple syrup(really!). Also this pheno is an eightweeker where the other taller more sativa leaning phenos ran a full nine or better. I put her in a 5 gallon for now with a combo of LightWarrior and OceanForrest and will grow her out for a while then take cuttings... Heres a few pics of her.... d:rastasmoke:

NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Hey DTR, Killa.. Thanks. Just a couple more shots of the really Bushy NorthernBerry. I pruned at the 4 node and it seems its going to have 4 main colas... This strain really responds well to pinching and pruning as did the Skunkberry. And a shot of another Skunkberry female pheno... The Northernberry will start to show head flowers in about 4 or five days... peace d:rastasmoke: One more note.. One of my NorthernBerry females showing a bit of mag def so Ill give her some epsom salts with the next water to remedy it...
-
NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Wowwwwwwwwwwwww D... That NB sure is looking magnificent!! Amazing.

NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Just a quick update.. It feels like forever but its been just 13 days and my Northernberry are all starting to show flowers... I also put a Skunkberry in flower 5 days ago and its really starting to go quick, and stretcing a bit... This Northernberry is one compact plant right now. I suspect that this strain will stretch through most of flowering though.. I really like the way the topped bush plant is flowering, lots of head buds. Im still vegging one more Skunkberry that I topped, so It will grow for a while.. Heres some pics of the ladies.... Just starting to get going, Now the Good Part.... easy d:rastasmoke:
-
NorthernBerry and Skunkberry #2
Heres a few more of the Skunkberry Leaner Pheno. This one stretches a lot so I put it into flower right when it showed sex, which was right at 5 weeks vegg. The last shot is a plant that I pruned and will continue to veg under T5.... d:rastasmoke:
