48 hours minimun discussion

I'm having an imsomia night so I thought I would throw something out here for others to post and share about. I have read through all the urine testing forum. I can't help but wonder how many people that are still around that have used the dilution method with only a few days notice and still passed. In the sticky it states to have a minimun of 48 hours clean. I've notice there have been a few people with a daily smoking history who have only a few days clean that did the dilution and passed. I haven't read many stories where people failed their drug test using the dilution method. Are there still some people out there doing test runs or have done test runs with little time and passed? Or how about actual testing with short notice and pass with dilution? Remember, I'm not talking about substitution....just dilution. Now...what's your thoughts about the 48 hour window? I can guarantee I wouldn't pass with dilution in 48 hours. I couldn't pass using full dilution after 14 days. In my opinion, its the young skinny ones that might be able to pass, but it totally depends on the metabolism, amount actually smoked, etc.

i actually will probably be trying to pass with a dilution method at or around the 2-week mark. so not a 48-hour mark, like you requested, but if i get the job offer today, and decide to take it (i have another interview that im kind of gunning for) then i will be utilizing our favorite dilution method.

if i do, i will definitely be posting my results, in case anyone can benefit from them. :)

OK....now that I have had a few hours of sleep I will chime in on something. Warning.....coming from me to this forum it would be "hear-say" to yall about what I'm about to share, but for me I witnessed it with myself. I once knew someone (who was a CLOSE friend I partayed with OFTEN) who was rather skinny and a regular daily user. I have seen numberous times this person would smoke right up to the day before a test, do a major dilution and pass a dip stick test for a job. When I first met this person, I thought she was yanking my chains....but after several years and job opportunities I've seen this person pass test after test using this method. Now on a personal level, I have used the dilution method after taking a few hits a week and still passed after being 4 days clean. I'm a rather small person myself (5'3", 125 lbs and high metabolism) if that helps.

I use dilution every 3 weeks. i smoke for 14 days and abstain for 7 and use dilution every time for the past year and its worked great. I am 6ft 185lbs not skinny but i eat alot and my metabolism works well. I also work out like crazy for 4 days then become lazy and eat fatty foods. I take Multi-Vitamins and fiber supplement. Not to mention other vitamins that help speed up your metabolism.

I tried the Dilution method and still was showing dirty on a home test that my friend gave me from APP. I followed to the T! But had smoked the night before. Not sure if that was my problem. :jointsmile:

When I was a light smoker I use to pass with dillution but now I smoke every day so subbing is the only option. I have a neice that can smoke all week and the night before and still pass a test in the morning. But she is very small. Thats why its a good idea to just pickup some cheap thc strips off ebay and test yourself a few times to see how your body handles thc.

KW420....I can't help but wonder how small your neice is with height and weight. <<<here I go again pondering>>> The reason I ask is because I am rather a small person (5'3" and 125 lbs).

Anyone know how long piss will keep? maybe a dumb question, but i want to know if i got clean piss today, how long could i keep it in a cupboard and still use it to pass as long as i got the temp up for the test?

Bnizzle....urine can keep in the fridge for approx 5 days (give or take 1) or it will keep in the freezer for about 1 year. If you freeze it, then remove it from freezer to fridge a day before and let thaw slowly. Then about a hour before you need it set on counter and let it come to room temp. After that, nuke for 10 seconds like QF and secure in place (making sure initial temp is around 103). Hope this helps.

P.S. I've used the frozen method many times with NO problem with LAB tests.

I know this an old thread but Ill add in case someone is bored like me and reading thru: Havent taken a piss test in some time but when I did...
mid 20's. Over 6', just under 200lbs. I was a daily smoker. Worked out everyday. Ate really really clean on a regular basis. Lots of fluids. I would say my metabolism is fast. 24 hours before my test I would not smoke, eat fatty, not work out, and take a store bought dilution kit and passed every time. Naturally Klean is the product. still have one in the cupboard just for an emergency! Hope this helps!

I tried diluting using expensive detox liquid but had smoked about 24-36 hours before. I tested myself 3 times at home, and failed all 3 tests. For dilution to work, you need to not have smoked for at least 2 days or more. Be sure to get several home drug tests to test your own urine. Had to use synthetic urine, but passed.

Dilution worked for my husband, but he is not a heavy smoker and had quit smoking several weeks prior to the test.

I've been using the dilution method for over a year, and the whole 48 hour window thing makes me REALLY uneasy.

I tend to take my drug test (Which are monthly, and I DO use dilution.), smoke for 7-10 days, and obstain for 15-20ish days. Using dilution after a little over 2+ weeks has ALWAYS worked for me. 11 Drug tests, 11 pass.

KEEP IN MIND, my probation officer doesn't care about dilute test, she just cares that there's nothing showing up positive, so I don't use the creatine / vitamin step.

Remember, dilution is great, but abstinence for a decent period of time will help you MUCH more than anything else. Dilution is a handy way to secure the passing of your drug test, permitting you followed the rules.

hey i got a dip stick test in like 6 weeks, 1/20, when would be a good time to quit, im 5'9'' 160 and exercise regularly and have been smoking daily for a week now, im also thinking of using a cleansing drink, any tips or recommendations? thanks

If this is for probation....from one ex-probationer to another.... then the smart answer would be to stop until you are off probation....BUT...since I won't call the kettle black....do NOT smoke to much where your body will start to have a build up. What helped me was I did my own monitoring and would only smoke 2-3 hits every other day or so. I made it a DAILY habit of doing good sweaty cardio each morning, metamucil 3x a day, no yummy fatty foods, LOTS of veggies and high fiber foods, ample water each day, etc. Keeping this in mind I wouldn't safetly smoke for about 10 days before test. I had closer calls, BUT not until AFTER I had practiced and practiced and then practiced again and again until I knew what my body would and would not do. Take it or leave it....but good luck.

This is good advice. Bottom line is you get out what you put in. One that stays in great shape will have a better change passing because the body can respond quickly. but sitting around, getting fat, smoking a ton, and trying to pass a test in less than 48 hrs is just stupid!

ya im working out and running every other day and i will do what you said about staying away from the fatty foods and eating healthier. i was going to give myself 2 weeks clean before the test, do you think i'll need a flusher...the test isnt for probation but for some alcohol rehab place (long story) which is going to test me once a week after that so im going to quit for as long as i have to, that why i want to continue smoking for as long as i can

Can't help but wonder if the rehab place does observed UAs. The reason I asked was because when I was on probation I was ordered drug class. The class did UNOBSERVED UAs so I was able to sub as long as I was going to the class. Even through this time I was smoking here and there and subbing BUT I did extensive practicing and invested money, time and energy to cover my butt. Also....what has been your smoking history for the past 30 days?

ive been smoking everyday for the past two weeks with a month long before that of not somking, ive ben tested at this place before, i go into the bath room by myself and im not allowed to flush the toilet or wash my hands before i open the door and give them the cup and they dip a stick in it a wait a few seconds and then it says + or -

To answer that question, yes treatment/rehab places have observed UA's. Ive been out of treatment for around 2 months and mine did observed UAs where the guys would sometimes stand right beside you and watch. IT SUCKED, do NOT go to treatment be smarter than that ;) not saying dont smoke weed because thats your choice, i still do to
