hey guys has any ever smoked up and afterwards got the chills or had heart fluttering?????
never chills, but the heart fluttering and shit..yea:jointsmile:an i toke everyday all day:jointsmile:
keep on tokin:stoned:
no chills, but heart race happens sometimes. controllable, ignorable.
only the 1st time it scared the crap out of me n landed me in ER n thats cuz i was alone and no matter who i called, i couldnt find a similar case so i concluded i will be dead due to heart attack if i dont call 911.... turned out to be my 1st anxiety attack in 5+ years of smokin
For the past two and half years of smoking, I never had those problems at all.
lately ive had issues with heart fluttering, i mean, it only happens when i smoke really, its cool, lots of people have it happen, its nothing to worry about, it is just one of the many side effects of smoking MJ.
Or maybe I was to high to notice it. :rasta:Quote:

MVP can often be detected by doctors with a stethocsope. An echocardiogram is another way.
There are also conditions known as Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome and, when it affects the neurological system, Dysautonomia (which can also be caused by other non-heart related abnormalities).
I get the heart fluttering every once in a while but it doesn't bother me.
I sometimes get a shiver down my spine but that only happens when I have some really strong stuff.
If you're worried about your heart try to smoke a little less or less strong stuff
that should work to stop it.
well all this info is helpful, but u should see your doctor to check u for any heart problems as well...
In ER they took pictures of my chest and did some scanning and whatever they do in such cases and the doctor came in and said you and your heart are healthy as a horse! u probably have had a severe anxiety attack which made perfect sense to me since i had not slept for like 3 days in a row due to school deadlines and exams after spring break and had not smoked in like a month prior to that so i had a bad reaction that day
my heart beat was @ 200+ when paramedics arrived and then b4 they give me anything and while i was deciding if im gonna die or i should take the ambulance ride, it slowed down and went back up again a few times while i had a feeling of pressure in my chest and kind of a "hotness" feeling as well
since it turned out to be "nothing" at all but an anxiety attack due to a mix of causes, everytime i smoke and get the same (but much milder) feeling i just ignore it and dont pay attention to it... it goes away b4 u notice its gone!
Sometimes i get cold or shivers but that's when i'm baked like an apple pie in the sky. I go with it.
i had went to the doctors my heart is fine ekg was done, i dont smoke alot just a few puffs a night like an hour or 2 before i go sleep but my question got answeared thanks guys
I've gotten the chills here and there and it usually lasts for about 5 or 10 minutes. Oddly enough last night I smoked and got pretty lit up (it was from one of my plants that has been curing for awhile and had some pretty good sized buds) and I had the chills for like an hour-I was shivering in my house!!!! A woman who was over and smoked with me didn't get that effect at all.

if the temperature outside is lower than 75 degrees, i will get violent tremors from the chills unless i wrap up warm.Quote:

Heart fluttering is not dependent on the weather conditions... if i've been smoking a lot, i will have a higher likelihood of heart fluttering than if i keep it to a casual thing.

yeah, if i get any sense of coldness while smoking i will get violent shakes almost from my shivering. its pretty bad, i can ignore it if i focus on something, problem is that when im high i cant usually control it unless im driving. but it really only happens when it gets down to the bone, and there is no real recovery.
