All you cultivators working with the sun, now is the time for patience. It can be challenging, especially given that the outdoor calendar is not quite as exact as the indoor. By this i mean to say i find it more challenging in determining what exactly has been two months of flowering etc etc.

Here they are so far. Leaves are dropping at a steady rate, but i think there will be enough foliage to finish them up strong(fingers crossed)!

are you in a suburban area? or out in the countryside? just curious, because you said the GDP is very smelly, which leads me to think, would others be able to smell that great aroma in the air, and figure out what exactly it is that is making their neighborhood smell so damn great, and try to get in on the action? (run on sentence, i know, sorry!)

so do you have a vague idea of how old they are? i'm guessing mine are somewhere between 5.5 - 6.5 weeks into flowering, but like you said, its really difficult to know for sure with us outdoor growers.

G i am in the countryside but in a neighborhood. Closest house is about 100 yards away. I do worry often about potential poachers. We are on self imposed nighttime house arrest until after harvest. Not taking any chances. Neither is my German shepherd:wtf:
as far as age, that sounds good to me. 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 weeks. It is tricky because indoor the flower period starts as soon as the lights switch to 12 12. but the buds dont start forming for a little while after this. So I think about 1-2 weeks before the buds showed at all they were "in flower" so 5.5 weeks is conservative, 6.5 weeks is hopeful.

i have noticed recently, that EVERY SINGLE time my dogs start barking, i check my bedroom window to check if anyone is back there. i know, i'm being a bit paranoid, but its better than just not paying any mind to the dogs i guess.
seems like it could turn into a "cried wolf" situation though, if i convince myself that the dogs are just barking at squirrels and other dogs, until they actually do start barking because of intruders, and i'm just thinking, "ah, they're just barking at squirrels, nothing to worry about".

haha, i like how you put that about the nighttime house arrest. i had to explain to my girlfriend that i wont be leaving much during these last two months, but im lucky to have a girl that smokes just as much as me, and who is also looking forward to this harvest just as much as i am, so that wasn't a problem :hippy::hippy:

I am hoping nightime security watch is enough, but i would not be surprised if there were not a few methheads that would not walk down the street in the noonday sun with a big bush on their shoulder, and my Shepherd tugging at their B*lls.;) Actually my dogs may just try to lick someone to death:thumbsup:

haha, thats what im worried about. i have two dogs that will bark like crazy if they hear something, but the moment they see a person, they are the nicest dogs you can find. hopefully they wont be too nice, if the sense that people are intruding into his owners property. hopefully.

but, the day i decide to grow outdoors and have a dog watchin it while i get some rest, i will have yet another cause to back up my affection for Doberman Pinschers... these dogs are just the best choice around for security/guarding purposes

strong, intelligent, big n scary looking if need be, and very very loyal

they are cute too, i find the negative stigma associated with them at the same level as negative hype about weed, just bs from uninformed ppl!

Flying it is funny you mention Dobermans. I too think the negative hype is just that, hype. AND I have been bit in the ass by one when was a kid. It pierced my skin right through the jeans. Vicious little f'er. In all fairness i was standing in the doorway to his house, but talking to my friends father who was in the doorway as well. Out of nowhere the dog bit me, and then the father rained down on it with a phonebook. That was the worst part. I think he was trying to please me so i would not sue them! then came the muzzle for a few weeks.

I think it is a reflection of the way the dog was raised by the owner. Nothing more. Sure there are aggressive breeds, but that aggression can be focused in all sorts of directions. I think maybe people should have to pass a test before they are allowed to own a certain breed. Some sort of compassion exam!

good looking plants i see you repotted them ? are those 10gal containers ?
you have to be vigile about security and don't tell anyone about them, keep dog outside to guard! and try to build some kind of fence around them, make it hard for would be theives to get too them as most are lazy theiving people.

Hey Veg. I did not repot them. some are in 4gallons and some in 20. When i priced it out, and talked to my hydro guy, he actually encouraged me not to do it. With only three weeks left he said, might not be worth the trouble.
I did use Cannazyme at Weedhounds suggestion. I am happy enough with them. I am still learning a lot for sure, but the herb is a resilient plant and i am having a lot of fun with it:)

There is a fence, with a loud entrance, and they are 30 ft from my living room. My dog stays inside at night, but has ears like an Air force radar system! I am more worried about the LEO legally robbing me, than any chump thieves. ya never know.:wtf:

ok cool ,do you notice any major difference in size between the 4gal and 20gal plant containers? as I only have a couple plants and wondering if it would be worth it to get a bigger container than the 3gal their in know. I also don't have very much light only 400watt of T5's and couple hrs of sunshine. :(

Its hard for me to compare because they are different strains. The ones in the 4 gallons are clones, and the ones in the 20 Gallons are from seed. The seed plants are all 6ft tall and the clones are about 2.5-3 ft. Big difference, but a few possible causes.
So you are going outdoor and indoor? Sun and T5's? If you have at least a month before harvest, depending upon the size of the plants, and the last time you transplanted, it may be a good idea to put them in a fresh container with fresh dirt.
