Just failed at dilution...devistated. :-(

Ok. They just busted out last week at work that mandatory drug testing is happening. So while looking for another good paying job, I'm going to quit again. Of course I couldn't quit until I finished my bag. :D

So that was last night. Today I go to CVS and buy "first check, thc home drug cup test" for 15 bucks. I also buy 32 oz, and 6 16 oz gatoraids.

So, 11:54, I chug the 32 oz. Then 15 min later, the 16 oz....in the next 30 min a 20 oz water....then another 2 16 oz gatoraids. Pee about 5 times, it's clear....oh, popped daily vitamins, and 2 aspirin at first drink.

2:30, take the test....POSITIVE!!!. I thought for sure I'd dilute it. I had a girlfriend drink that gallon of tea crap about 15 years ago and she passed her test.

Anyway...I'll give it a few days (maybe 2 weeks)....stay hydrated (I work out a lot; just been slacking on the water intake). And try it again.

Now I'm nervous. Last week I kept telling myself "1 gallon of water and you'll pass"...but that's not true.

I was sipping on gatoraid and water up until 2:30. So I should have been flushed out I thought. Way more than a gallon of fluid in around 2 hours. Still pissed about it. :(

But I don't have a 12 hour window. I have "your ssn was pulled, go to human resources when your done doing this or that". So I have about an hour. That's why I did my own test. I was so dry though that I didn't piss for the first hour, even after drinking over 64oz of fluid.

So now, I'm going to drink a couple 16oz bottles of water in the mornings and if I get called I hope to be ready to pee.

Yeah, I read it right.....1 solid big line at the top....positive.


PS....about 15 years ago I had a pee test for a part time job (unexpected). I went in the bathroom, put about 3/4 tap water in the cup, and the rest was urine. They said I still came up dirty and fired me. WTF....if that isn't diluted nothing is.

I didn't ask if you read the sticky, I asked if you read the test right but yes one line is usually bad. Did you come up dirty 15 years ago or fail for adding tap water to your urine.

So you only got a control line and no line for THC?

The lady...on my fourth day of work....said "your test came back positive". I assume the THC levels and not the temp or color, etc..

There are Negative, Preliminary Positive, and Invalid. I got the single top line for Preliminary Positive.

2 lines = negative, 1 bottom line = Invalid. (just pulled the cup back out the trash).

My coworker was the first to get tested last week. I brought it up today that "was it like military w/ a marine watching you". Here is the info (for guys):

Desk outside of stall but in bathroom.

Empty your pockets on desk.

Dude sits at desk to make sure you aren't messing around.

Blue water in toilet so you can't scoop out old pee.

And that was all I got out of him w/ out looking guilty. So I can't pour dry urine, bring a friends, or mess around too much in the stall. Hope this helps....gov't test for civilian workers.

Hope they don't pull my SSN anytime soon.

You could still sub. Get the synthetic urine and heat and do everything as you normally would but have a piece of clear tubing stuck on the end of the bottle and just use that. Make sure the tube is attached securely to the bottle and make the hose about 6 inches long. As long as the end of the tube is higher than the level of the fluid is it won't come out. You could even put a simple little plug on the end to make sure it doesn't leak. Then just practice with it till you got your technique down.

Yeah you can still sub. You have just described a monitored test since you used the word stall. A monitored test is used when the environment isn't under complete control such as a multi stall bathroom. Their presence is to prevent entrance of others into the bathroom or because the sinks can't be shut off, etc. They still can't observe you unless you give them cause and you have 4 minutes in the stall to give the sample. Use a quiet bottle and you can still pull it off.

It has been exactly 4 weeks since I stopped smoking. Took another home test (3rd one) and failed. Now I did not dilute because I tried that twice and it didn't work. I just wanted to see how my system did on it's own.

Here's how my tests went"

1. Took it the next day after quitting. Drank about 1.5 gallons of gatorade and water. Failed.

2. Took about 5-6 days after quitting. Knew I was going out....drank about 10 beers (right at a gallon) and couple of shots (drinking goes way up when you can't smoke). :mad: Failed that night...even after pissing like crazy all night.

3. Took 28 days after quitting. Didn't dilute or even try. Just naturally dirty. Will probably try again later this week.

Once it arrives, go buy a couple gallons of cranberry juice.
3 times every day, once in the morning, evening and before bed, just open the bottle, and take a good chug, then drink a glass of cranberry juice.
It'll have ya ready to pee clean in no time. Doesn't taste bad, either.

I have used this stuff several times and have had nothing but success... It even saved me once when I only had a weekend to get clean for a Monday pee test :)

Detox potions, bentonite products, pills, etc all work via the principle of dilution. They do not convert THC metabolites into something that can't be detected, as they'd like you to believe. They do not remove THC metabolites from your body. Only time and fat-burning exercise can do that. The actions of these products can be duplicated for $$$ less by following this link:

Because they work by dilution, these internal remedies can fail if the concentration of THC metabolites is too high. Drinking fluids days before the test is of no help. Drinking a reasonable amount of fluids on the day of your test will dilute your urine, lowering the concentration of THC metabolites in the bladder. If you dilute too much it will spoil the test, triggering a retest or a fail. The aspects of dilution techniques other than drinking fluids are to make dilute urine appear to be less dilute. In other words, diluting just enough to test below the assays cutoff level. At high concentrations of THC metabolites, it is not possible to dilute enough without over-diluting.

I meant to post this last week. I took another test last Sunday. Oct 19th. I needed 1 red line and 1 pink/red line. Well I got the 2nd line. :thumbsup: But it wasn't pink or red, but something was there. I haven't taken a test since but I'm sure I'm clean now.

But it took me 34 days to get "clean'ish". I go on vacation to Mexico next month and will burn while there because them I'm off 4 days after my return because of Thanksgiving. I will post again then letting people know how long it takes me to get clean when only smoking a few days out of a week.
