Have no idea whats wrong!

I have no idea whats wrong with my plant but it seems that everything that can go wrong with it, has. Yellow spots, curled leaves etc etc.
At first it went really well, 25 celcius, 35% humidity and no fckups whatsoever,
I did the mistake of putting my envirolite to close to the plant once and it got a few yellow spots but that was no big deal but now it is getting a few weird spots on them and leaves are curling up and plant has stopped growing. I put it in a new pot 2 days ago and it got really shocked, all the largest leaves died except for one and i thought it was dead but it seemed to be getting better the next day. When i woke up today it was just getting worse and "sickish". Halp!
Current humidity is 20% (low i know but i try to spray it when i can) and 28-30 degrees celcius.

I could be wrong but it looks mainly heat stressed to me while the yellow spots look like they have been burned by the light being too close combined with the fact that you are misting the plants, so any standing water will increase the burn effect from the light.

How powerful (Watts) is your light and how close is it now to your plant?

Also, what is the soil you are using and what feed are you giving it?

I'm no expert on soil grows, far from it but these answers will help build a picture of what you are doing right/wrong.

The combination of close lights and moisture on the plants can cause pretty harsh burns on the leaves. Especially when they are young. Your soil looks a bit barky. But yeah... as mentioned... explaining all other variables involved in the grow will help paint a diagnosable (haha is that a word?) picture. It could be that the plants are shocked from the soil or transplant. Especially since you noticed that they had stopped growing. Does your soil have nutrients in it already?

The first soil I used had NPK mixture in it, but the one I use now has no added nutrients but I water it with a NPK mixture (when i repotted i mixed the two soils together, the one with no added nut and the one with added nut). I added some bark myself to increase the drainage and in the bottom of the pot i have lava stones used for increased drainage by many growers at the bottom of the pot.
I am using envirolite red 250 w with homemade reflectors, its currently 15 inches away from the plant (had it alot closer before it got burns).
I opened the door of the cabinet and have had it open now for a few hours, humidity went up to 35% and its now 25°celcius from 30°celcius and 18% humidity. I water it daily with nut water and i mist it regularily (once every 3 hours or so when i remember it)
The thing i am most worried about is not the burn spots though but the curling of the leaves and why on earth one of my leaves has started getting yellow spots all over out of nothing, i didnt mist it and i had moved the light before i went to sleep and when i wake up its covered in those dots and many other leaves had some "browinsh" tips on their leaves (think you can see them in one photo if you look closely)
I havent checked the PH of the soil and i dont let the water stand before usage (no need to, icelandic water doesnt have any added chemicals in it)

Let's see here... chances are you are doing a combination of things. If your soil has any nutrients in it, your plants run a higher risk of having problems when they are that young. Since you mixed it 1:1 with neutral soil, it could have "cooled" it off... but applying another fertilizer just brings you back to the hot soil. By the looks of it... where your plants are at now is probably when you wanted to start introducing a weak nutrient solution (4-5 nodes or sets of branches) IF you had started off with a relatively neutral soil mix. Seedlings can thrive with just pH adjusted water and light. Also, since you have been applying fertilizer... what is the NPK of it?

About your medium: While it isn't really bad to have a chunky soil composition... that much bark will make it difficult for roots to stretch quickly, as they will have to make a detour around the hard chunks. Perlite is the probably the most commonly used material when trying to increase drainage. Also, what kind of bark is it? I'm guessing you just got it from the woods?
You also want to fill the pots to about 1-2 inches below the rim of the container. You want nice airflow over the soil surface. That much space will create stagnant air which isn't optimal for indoor growing and can promote mold/rot/funkyjunk. You can fill the container up more, as long as you don't bury it deeper than the Cotyledons (first set of leaves). The main stem will grow roots anywhere below that set of leaves.

Oh, and you want to make sure you don't over apply your fertilizer when your plant is ready for it. Your plant, most likely, will not want food everyday. Cannabis likes somewhat of a wet/dry cycle. Meaning it likes to have the roots fully saturated... and then left to suck up all that goodness. Once the majority of the moisture has left the soil (the pots will be considerably lighter) you know that your plants "cleaned their plate." Now it is time to feed/water again. Sometimes it can be as long as 4-7 days between feeding/watering. Also, you want to be sure to flush the soil of salt/fertilizer build up that can create pH problems and lockout conditions. Actually, maybe once your soil is dry enough to water again... you'll want to do a thorough flush to clean the soil a bit? Knowing the pH of EVERYTHING you put into the plant is crucial. The best nutrients in the world won't do a damn thing if the roots can take them in. pH adjustments in soil are usually made to roughly 6.9... but it depends on your situation and what you are trying to accomplish.

I don't know about your light, so you're on your own for now :jointsmile:

Oh, and you need an active ventilation system. Just opening the door isn't going to be enough. Some type of constant air exchange is going to promote healthy growth. You will run the risk of things like mold, rot... and heat stress can result in less yield, hermaphrodites, and probably other things I don't know about.

And lastly, don't be freaked out if the plants don't all behave the same... even if they are all the same strain. While they may have the same "name," they are not robots and behave just like any other living thing. All humans start out the same way... but we don't grow at the same rates and get sick for different reasons. And just like the plants.... WE WILL DIE IN THE END! Muhuhuhhahahahaha :stoned:

Lose the bark ASAP.
You're dropping your soil pH with it- that stuff is meant to mulch an outdoor garden, where plants are established and less susceptible to soil chem fluctuations.

No more misting unless you add a very very small amount of fert to the solution, because you can leach nutes out of the leaves by osmosis. 20% RH is not bad if you are watering correctly.

i repotted again after that last tip (cus the bark was all over the soil) and instantly noticed that the roots werent as many as the last time i repotted, now it was just around the stem but not in the soil itself. I'll be watering it less now since i noticed that the bottom of my pot had gotten full of water. My plant doesnt look very healthy though but its a first try and i got the seed for free just to have a little fun with.
Does adding some root powder for cloning help while repotting ??

You can water after re-potting with a drop of superthrive in a gallon of water, but clone root hormone isn't helpful.

Btw now its lost a few leaves but is starting to look better after i switched to 200w blue envirolite but it still goes slowly.

That foil shade might be creating some hot spots :wtf:

Ok, so now i water every 2 days with a slight amount of nutes, changed from red envirolite to blue and things are starting to look better.
Planning on putting it into flowering the 1st of next month (so it'll be finished flowering in december) but its only around 16 CM tall, think she'll manage and how much will she approx yield?
PS. The new leaves have some brown dots on them, something to be worried about?

the plant has grown a lot since the last time i wrote. But now I'm afraid that its a male since its got some pollen sacks.. i think... Can anyone clarify that ? :wtf:

guess i'll just get wrid of it then =( but thankfully i got some carmalicious seeds and some random seeds sprouting :D like u said, now i know what to and what not to do.

That turned out to be a nice looking plant. Too bad it's a male

As for your next babies, Try to keep the temps at 78 F in seedling stage. lower temps will help the female ratio. higher humidity and more blue light increases female tendencies. A higher nitrogen level increases females. Any environmental stress from seed to beginning of vegetative stage tend to yield male plants.

Thanks trinitybound, been feeling kinda down all day since i threw out my plant :( All this time and effort wasted for nothing feels kinda like a rippof, and those seeds i just planted have been taking their time sprouting, almost a week now and no sign of life.
