Posting my procyon Grow setup let me know your thoughts

So i have been growing with my (1) procyon 100. For about 3 weeks VEG (these are clones that i bought) Let me know what you think or any questions.

Looks, nice; Did you log type of soil, nutes/ pre/ seeds vs.clone / age of plants, etc! Please, this is a nice log for us to learn from you and as I've seen others say, " a place to refer back to my last grows" ! so, Please all the info, for both of our sakes?? Pleas? :jointsmile::jointsmile: pr

I'll be watching this thread as the grow progresses.

1. what strains are you growing?
2. is that mylar? i'd recommed using a white paint, much like Stealth/Whiskey Tango did on their first procyon grow thread.

Strains:
Tall (2) are Sour D
Shorter bushy (1) Afghan Kush
Mylar seems to reflect better in the grow room, any reasons to why i should switch?
Soil: Fox FARM
Nutes: (VEG) Sensi Grow (A&B), Sensi Cal, Botanicare Sweet, Botanicare Liquid Karma.
Nutes: (FLOWER) NO MONEY TO AFFORD IT YET HAHA....but soon....i also need to work my ass off on getting a CO2 bucket.

Need to drop your light down alot...Those plants look pretty thin man. White paint is over 90% reflective, and is more efficient than mylar...trust, did both with the procyons, but we are running 5 of em:jointsmile:
Check my log for clones that were very very short, and are much thicker and bushier after just 2 weeks. Using FF nutes too.
Ideally you want the procyon about 12-18 in from the tops of the plants in a 3x3 area. Any more space needs more light, and being more distance away from the tops will make em spindly and weak....
Check through any of my logs, we are on our 4th grow with the procyons.

Thanks for the info stealth...but yeah yesterday i thought the same thing and lowered the light....while deciding to leave it on 24 hours to see any difference when i woke up this morning the trees shot up....ps stealth your part of the reason why i took the "risk" in trying this procyon out haha....atm they are about 8 inches from the light? is that to close?

ooo and my streching and thin stems are possibly from the homedepot "natural light" i had to use for a week and half since my procyon hadn't come in the mail....so this is not a 100% led grow, but my future ones will be. O quick question I'm watering them everyday with nutes (listed) 200mL how does that sound, and what are you doing with you current setup?

I only water twice a week...In 3 gal pots. The 1 gal pots I have to water more frequently, and the bigger pots also at onset. Some people may say 8 in is great for those lights, but IMO the lights where designed with lenses to dissipate light outwards. So I wouldn't go closer than 12in. Thats where I like it at

Finally got some new pics up. Just started flowering 2 days ago with SensiBloom. I'm not using a CO2 bucket, but every so often i put dry ice in the room. Any comments or suggestions. Trimming? please let me know. Thanks for the support, and suggestions.
PS i decided to stick with the mylar until my next grow.
1. because im stingy and don't want to waste the money i spent on the mylar
2. dont want to disturb my babies
3. lazy
4. how much of a difference is it really going to make?

im two days from my first harvest with a procyon (well first harvest ever, too :D), and all i can say is :thumbsup:

I agree with WT, the light is fine around 12", that's where I kept mine too and it kept my plants good and stocky into flower.

what are you running for circulation / exhaust / smell / etc?

and to throw my two cents in on watering, I can go upto 7 days on some of my plants in 3 gals and they still wont really need water. i went with 75% FFoF to 25% perlite about. Should have gone with more perlite (using grow bags, so they dont have the biggest drain holes).

Best of luck though man, the procyon is for sure a quality light and it wont let you down :thumbsup: :jointsmile:

Circulation I have a dual fan i the room blowing down....and an intake and exhaust fan for the exit (u can see it in one of the pics) Smell.....well i don't care if anyone smells cause i have a club card, plus i love the smell why take it away??? My grow op will never exceed 6 plants. So i don't plan on ever getting a carbon filter.

Sorry i was a little crossfaded in the last post, anyway. Here they are 8 days into flowering, and already looking significantly bigger 26in. Question if I'm not using any C02 is it going to dramatically lower my yield? Any thoughts on my setup/plants/etc. let me know....right now they had very little mold on them so they got a special treatment, and i also put dehumidifiers in the room to help in the long run. Is this bad?!?!

is there a reason theyre wet? thats one way to control mold is to not spray anything in flower... though thats more the end of flower, so you shouldnt really have any problem with that. i had a dehumidifier right in my grow room and it ran fine for me

Any close ups of the mold chronic? Shouldn't be that humid in there. Got a Rh meter? my cheapo thermometer 10 dolla gro depot, lol, has a Rh meter as well. Make sure the plants are getting pretty dry between waterings, trust me...

Harvested our first early lady sat....rest coming out this weekend maybe, smoke party anyone?...:joint1:

Worst thing happened yesterday....on of my hanging fans fell on one of my plants killing 2/3 of her. Worst experience to deal with. All because of a bad chain. Anyway i learned my lesson. Now i only have 2 plants....and a gimp. Hope everything will turn out fine with no more problems....MOLD PROBLEM GONE
