Ecstacy - who knew?

if i had know that i could have that bad a time on ecstacy i never would have done it.

everyone i knew, and i mean everyone was doing pills every weekend. I hated it, because i didnt want to, but i couldnt be with them because they would want to walk for miles or dance to loud pounding music. 3 months later, my curiosity became too strong and i decided to do them. We got some blue crowns (dont know if blue ones are different in britain) and i took one. Me and my friends mike and john decided to split from the group because we wanted to walk the 10 miles back to our home town. We where walking in the pitch black down scary paths but i was having an okay time. It felt like i was drunk but wide awake. Then my mum called me. I had forgotten to tell her i was staying out. That freaked me a bit, but my friends convinced me to forget it and i did. We had a couple of joints wich buzzed me out, and then we decided to do another pill. I stupidly went along with it. When i came up of the second pill i experianced the most EXTREME DEPRESSION i have ever felt. I wanted to cry but couldnt. I was at on the road, and every time anyone spoke i told them to stop because i needed complete silence. i considered calling an ambulance but i felt that i just needed a few minutes to gather myself. I did get up a while later and we walked on a bit before getting bored and going back to the house we had come from. When i got there, i took another half cause i had cheered up. When i came up off of that one i passed out in a bed and hallucinated. My dreams where so vivid that i kept sitting up and saying things out load like 'john that dress makes you look like a girl' and then just falling asleep again. When i woke up, i immediately felt i was going to be sick, so i motion for a bag, which got there a bit late, and puke black sludge.

The next morning i didnt feel too bad about the experiance and was actually quite pleased with myself, but i convinces myself that it was the type that had made it so bad. The weekend after i bought three of these white ones that were either 'roses' 'queens' or 'smileys'. No one could decide. This time i did it with all my mates. I took one and didnt feel much of anything. A couple of my friends felt horrible and had to go home so that wasnt a good sign. We walked 5 miles to a freinds house and i enjoyed the journey as it was dark and all i could see was a completely fuzzy blur ofeverything. It was fun. But i didnt feel that happy, except for one small second where i giggled out loud. When we got to the house my skin prickled like it was on fire and i wasnt sweating. I went upstairs to the bathroom and just collapsed onto the floor. I stared at the ground and it was swaying do i lay down on it and found i couldnt move. Someone came up and i managed to get up and go to a bedroom, and someone bought me a glass of water but i didnt drink much. My stomach felt like it had ice in, and the only thing i could think of was to puke. so i did, that same black sludge, and then i tryed to sleep. I slept for a few hours, but i woke up and was on a come down. I gave the rest of my pills away and spent the rest of the night completely miserable upstairs, with people coming in to say hello, and are you okay.

i think i overheated, but i wont know. If someone asked me if i regretted it, i wouldnt hesitate to say no. Now anything that raises me heartbeat gives me flashbacks of how horrible and scared i felt, and my friends all still do it, so every weekened im worried bout them.

so think about it before you do it, and make sure your in the right frame of mind or something

I've only had one or two bad-ish experiences with tabs but they weren't as bad as yours. What happened with me was I was with about 5 other people who where also high and they kept going off in two or threes and having private chats which made me really paranoid which made me come down suddenly; it was pretty horrible. If I ever did take those kinds of drugs again it would be with people who are considerate about you and your feelings like proper friends should be; and not make you feel like shit and freak you out. The worst thing you can do to someone when they are on xtc is be horrible to them. This could actually be dangerous and cause them to have a panic attack or something. I know you could say "well, it's their own fault for taking drugs" but if you can't rely on your friends to be nice who can you rely on?

Have you thought that it could have been some other ingredient which caused you to feel so bad? The pills where I live are cut with ketamine but I don't mind this because the ketamine makes the come-down nice and mellow and doesn't freak you out. The only bad thing though is that the high is not as 'energetic' as pure xtc; it's still OK though.

I dont know about ecstacy it scares me too.The last time i took it i had 2 pills in one day a bit of speed too that was exactly 2 yrs ago.FUCKING NEVER EVER AGAIN.

I've never had any bad experiences with ecstasy.
Check your pills before taking them and get a testing kit if you can...there are a lot of fakes out there.

MDMA Causes your brain to flood with serotonin, which is a neurotransmitter responsible for feelings of happiness. Users generally don't feel 'depressed' until the days after with frequent use due to a lack of serotonin in the brain.
With real MDMA the risk of death is very low, millions of pills are consumed each year and few deaths occur.

ive only recently started taking it but so far so good... im thinking maybe ive just been lucky after hearing what you guys are saying!

I'll never understand how anybody could have a bad experience with ecstasy (real MDMA) as the days I have done it have turned out to be the best days in life. Due to this I have a great deal of respect for this drug and will not abuse it.
The experiences for me can only be described as an absolute feeling of freedom.
This is not to say it isnt possible to have a negative reaction to MDMA, but you may be able to help better your experiences by altering the set and setting which is an important factor when consuming any drug. I found the most enjoyment on ecstasy simply laying in my friends back yard, looking at the sky and listening to music. Being outdoors in wooded areas or by a lake can make for a fantastic experience.
Puplic places are also fun to an extent, as in I generally don't like being in public at all but walking through the mall rolling can also be very enjoyable, you look at the people and feel as if you know them or have some sort of connection to them.
The first day of school I took an Orange Dolphin (which I posted a picture of in another thread) and I was talkative, sociable and it seemed as to be a great way to start off my junior year.
Don't try to take the experience anywhere, let it take you.

Ive never had a bad experience on XTC just short or speedy rolls...I love xtc and would do it everyday if it didnt effect the body in the way's it does.

ive done x a couple times and always made sure i was gettin safe stuff and never had a problem, your might have been cut with some stuff ant that would explain the depression and the sludge

im pretty sure the first ones were cut with ketamine

but im not sure bout the second ones.

Bad things is that now ive had bad experiances, im too freaked to give the 'safe' versions of MDMA a go

Notice how this guy takes a pill, walks 10 miles, smokes a j, walks 5 more, takes half a pill? Maybe the problem is you need to get a fucking car man, I'm sure a ten mile walk on X had something to do with your heart rate.

You wouldn't catch me walking ten miles for any reason, on any drug.

Cut down on the walkathons after taking X, maybe that would help you relax a little.

first of all the 10 mile walk was never completed, and the 5 mile walk was on a seperate occasion.

secondly, i dont know why, but my experiance is that people love to walk on pills... maybe we take different ones...

thirdly, i was too young to drive a car... i was 16 and you have to be seventeen in the uk.

Yeah maybe if you didn't have such monstrous paragraphs that hurt my eyes I'd have taken the time to read through it.

But anyways yeah those pills probly sucked, find a new connect and don't do X on a regular basis, that's when the trouble starts...
