So I just poped in some music and hit the bat.
3 minutes later, I start to feel the effects.
For me, there is a distinctive "warmimg/tightening" sensation all over my body. It doesn't feel strange; it feels very...relaxing.
This common with anyone else?
um, well, i get this sort of whooshing feeling like as if my abdoment was being pulled forward, not really a strong feeling, but almost as if my head was being pulled backward, but only over a centimeter is the tilt noticable, but i kinda feel it, i guess you could say it is a sort of relaxed feel, getting into the slouched posture i guess.
i also feel high in my eyes sometimes, i can tell and gauge my highs based on how my eyes feel. kinda weird i guess, its not really even a how much they burn, or how closed my eye lids are, its just a feeling thing.

sometimes the first hit of some dank, like the trainwreck i smoke recently, when i take the greens hit, i will actually have to stop for a few seconds because the hit is so smooth, tasty, and inebriating that it kinda makes me trip for a few seconds and not be able to do or say anything, its a strange, yet pleasant feeling, and it is what makes me want to smoke really.
also, about the eye thing, i also hate putting in eyedrops, it makes it so i cant feel the high as much, i cant gauge myself, or how im acting, or anything, eyedrops make it hard for me to realize how i am.
I like eyedrops, I usually feel refreshed after I put them in my eyes. I rarely use the stuff though because my eyes are never really that dry or bloodshot. They usually stay pretty clear.
speaking of dank, I had some blueberry a couple weeks ago and like right after i had the most euphoric feeling ever. That shit tasted so good too. kinda like fruit Loops.

I feel a sort of light sensation in my head, almost like an orgasm-ish burning coming up my brain stem and settling in the center of my head. I know I'm high for as long as I feel this in my head, I've come to think of it as an ethereal bit of hot coal that seeps up from my spinal cord.
I can't describe it accurately, basically I feel a distinctive thing inside my skull.
Happiness (because I realize I'm high) and everything feels "softer" and my brain focuses more on how things make me FEEL, rather than how they are traditionally represented.
When this sets is, all you can do in grin and think hopefully about the next ~60 mins :D
i completely agree, the first noticeable effects of being high that i really feel high during is when i start to just think about things, and not in my usual logical way, i just start to think about whatever i see, and whatever tangent that puts me on.Quote:

Three, or four, seconds after I inhale, I feel it the effects in my forebrain. I blow out the smoke after five seconds.
When I'm smoking, I'm usually smoking with a group or a friend. When I first realize I'm high is when I start thinking about how stupid the person I'm smoking with is acting or how dumb the things they say sound, even if they aren't really saying anything all that stupid.
I start staring off and my eyes adjust
and then suddenly I realize that I'm thinking crazy shit
and then I tilt my head back and close my eyes and it feels like i'm free falling
(Btw I'm feeling all that right now, my god man......)

A warm, calming feeling is probably the best way I could describe it. Bliss, if you will.
You guys ever get that "glowing" feeling? Kind of like something is radiating off of you when you're still high but beginning to come down. God, I love that.

I find it doesn't hit me till about 10 minutes in, i usually get back from work, hit a bong and do some housework while it picks up (listening to music of course) then i start exercising.
Exercising when your baked is amazing, i love it :-D
I love it when you hit a bong/pipe/what ever and nothing happens for about 20 minutes and you think ahh turd nothings happeneing, then woooosh.
Well... yesterday and the days before i deliberately paid attention to what i felt when i smoked. I smoke hash oil made with an indica, and some seconds after i inhale it, i feel a thing into my head. Its hard to describe where... it feels like it is behind and above the throat... or at the bottom of the brain... somewhere near there... i cant explain exactly where. Anyway... it feels like this region of my head were relaxing, becoming softer... then it spread to my eyes that become like if they were tired... its easy to unfocus them without any effort... then the thoughts start to slow down... and then i know that im getting high... and thats goooood... damn... :jointsmile:
The effects i feel when i smoke some sativa are different. I usually only smoke sativas after have smoked some indica first, so i dont remember exactly what are the exact effects of a pure sativa... anyway, i remember whenever i smoke a pure sativa one of the first things i notice is that thing in the chest we feel whenever we get a fright, that feeling of an adrenaline rush, that feeling that the heart is pounding madly (even if it actually isnt), something like this... anyway, whenever i smoke a pure sativa again, if i remember (damn my stoner memory :stoned:) i will pay attention to see what is the first thing i feel when i smoke it.
Sometimes, especially when I smoke by myself, I like to try and pay attention to the actual part when I "slip" into my high, but I'm normally high before I even know it.
Like, I'll stare off and wonder...then before I know it five minutes has past and I haven't even hit the bowl again. My eye lids get lower, and my head feels lighter, but not in the fainting way.
It's just a pure feeling.
God, I love that feeling. :)
