First Shrooming Experience

Last weekend was my first time trying shrooms, and it was awesome. I was with two friends, and we had wanted to get an eighth each, but our dealer said that they were really potent shrooms and for our first time we should only have half an eighth each.
So yeah we ate the shrooms (dried) and they tasted like mesquite BBQ-flavored ass. First we danced to Spanish radio music. Then I put in GTA San Andreas, put the TV on mute, and played the Matrix soundtrack over the game. It was really cool, because everything that was happening in the game was totally synchronized with the music. By the end of the first hour I felt the highest I'd ever been. It was kinda weird, because I felt high without feeling stoned. I also had a really intense body high.
But we were disappointed at not feeling any visuals yet so we went to our secret smoking place in my friend's apartment building to smoke a few bowls out of her bong. When we got back to the apartment, it really started to kick in. We tried to order pizza, but each of us had a specific order and no one could figure out the addition. Meanwhile I entered a world occupied entirely of my hands. It was really weird, like the rest of the world faded away and just my hands were left in their own dimension.
Luckily, sober friends arrived and ordered us pizza. We watched this show about Latin-American culture and the host was scaring the hell out of me. I then decided I had to get the hell out of there because the sober friends were bringing me down and I was really afraid that my friend's scary-ass mom would come home. So I got my other buddy and we walked to his house in the dark (about 20 blocks). Needless to say it was scary as hell, but I've never felt so alive.
When we got to his house his mom was gone so we went to 7-11 to buy a new lighter, but there were two cops in there so we had to go around the block and come back. Even though the cops were gone, I couldnt stop laughing while we were in 7-11. So yeah we went back to his house and smoked the rest of our weed and watched Ebert and Roeper and the first fourth of The Ring. Best time of my life, I must say.

I grow them, me and my friends take them often. last weekend we did 35 gram fresh of hawaiian mushys, and in my trip i felt like god, nothing looked real, fucking crazy. try some!

35 grams??? do u need more when they're fresh, or is that as crazy as it sounds??

when u (the poster) ate the half eigth, did u ever get any visual effects??? because i also just recently had my first shroom experience and there were no visual effects (i only ate 1/3 of an eigth, although they were potent shrooms). the only effects i had was a buzz feeling and a really happy feeling, so it was still fun...

Visuals usually come after you eat an 1/8 or more.

And where did you get the stuff to grow Hawaiian mushies?

ya shrooms are good. badtrips are the worst tho: watchout fer it, can fuck up yer mind and whatever. like psychotic freakin trip i had. and the fuck bout the 35 grams? ???? ???? i take 2 of my mush and im fu*k*d up.

dried mushies are different then fresh ones, mushies are like 90 percent water, so 35g of shrooms is probably equivalent to an 8th or something, i dont know. but 35g of fresh mushies isnt unreasonable.

They taste better, too. Don't forget that.

Bone dry, the ratio from fresh to dry is 10:1 ((weight-wise))

Yeah 35grams fresh sounds right. When I was living in Hawaii we would pick them by the bagful and put a huge handful into a pot and add one pack of ramen. That was for one person. :)

I still say everyone needs to eat at LEAST an 8th to see the good effects of shroomz. But as long as ya have a good time, that's what it's all about :D

I agree 100%, 1/8 dried is like the magic universal dose for an intense trip without going too insane, anything less kinda looses a lot of the shroom's funner effects (like seeing twighlight sky as a coral reef of multicolored clouds lol)

well it was intense the visuals were unreal, unlike anything iv experienced b4, this place near me sells grow kits "GROW AND BLOOM" is the shop. at the moment iv got Hawaiian and mexican on the grow. looks like a good yeald bout 110-130 gram

I love shrooms.

i've only tried shrooms once (though I am going to this saturday again). Very wonderful high. Good mix with weed. I felt so happy and time really didn't exist that day. I was just walking around in the very bright summer day. some very strange people blew cigarette smoke in my face which wasn't nice. :( I wanted to go for an adventure but I was pulled back by others >:0

ive never tried mushies but i really want to, everytime im about to get them the deal falls apart. the thing with your hand being a seperate world and everything else fading away has happened to me when smoking weed only its really weird

I know exactly what you mean. We went through about 4 failed deals over the course of many months before succeeding in getting shrooms, 'cause in SF there's apparently some kind of shroom drought or something (that's what the dealers call it) and they're really hard to come by.
Also I just remembered that that night I had a nightmare about a scary Spanish teacher from my school who was demanding I hand in my homework. Since I take Latin, I was like IM NOT IN SPANISH!!!! PLEEEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! But he just wouldn't stop.

shroom dealers suck around here. Takes them so long to have them, and when they do they are expensive.

I know exactly what you mean. I see people here who pay 30, sometimes even 20 dollars for an 1/8, and it makes me jealous as hell. I'm sometimes forking over up to 60 dollars to get my fungus.

this is the only other drug besides weed i have seriously thought of taking... some trips sound great while others sound very frightening... and if i was to take mushrooms and have a bad ass crazy trip that ruined me wanting to smoke weed again that would be very very bad. Soo i reckon ill try them just have Anxiety about it.

No no. No anxiety.

Your trip has everything to do with the mindset and the setting you're in. If you're in a comfortable place and you're relaxed and happy, you'll have a good trip. If your girlfriend just dumped you and you're in a police precinct... probably not a good time to eat mushrooms.

Going into it with anxiety is going to ruin your trip, and you'll never want to do it again. And THAT would be a real goddamn shame.

Shrooms are very intense if you eat 3 grams of potent quality shrooms.

They will make you very stoned. Could be the strongest drug around.

Hey i had shrooms for the first time last weekend too!. I had a little over 1/8th ended up in total having 4.3 or so grams. I don't know much about shrooms but the ones we got had this blue shit on them i guess thats good. They tastes at first like peanut shells but then begain to suck ass so i ate them with chips, got them for a good price cost me 30CND. At first i was worried that they were gonna fuck me up bad because it was my frist time so i only had 2 grams but after 2 hours i didn't feel anything so i just said fuck it and ate the rest of my bag...well an hour later i was doing quite well. We watched "The Wall" that crazy pink floyd movie i'm sure u've all seen it but it was my first time.

Anyways most fucked this happenes right at the start of the movie for those of u that remember(this is pretty much the only part of the movie i remember) but when the plane exploded in all that war imagry stuff. Anyways right when the plane exploded one of ppl who was tripping with us passed out in the washroom and hit the floor really hard at the exact same time as the plane blowing up. That was fucked throw everyone into a crazier trip.

Only me and one of my friends stayed for the whole movie i couldn't stop watchin it i was in a trance or something but at the end i was crying i don't konw if i was scared or really happy but yeah awesome movie (atleast i think it is...)

Shrooms were deffinently awesome and if ur scared to take them for me they weren't like what ppl explain i don't even understand how u could have a bad trip maybe u need a lot more but i always felt like i was me and wasn't scared i'd just catch myself watchin shadows move around and shit. And doors Doors are fuckin awesome on shrooms i think i spent a good 40 mins just staring at our door. well thats my story it was a sick night and i'm deffinently in love with shrooms now!

Cook shrooms? Put them on an already cooked pizza, because cooking them will lower their potency, possibly by a lot.
