Does anyone really give a fuck what Martha Stewart ate in prison? All I've heard about today on the news is Martha Stewart this and Martha Stewart that. I can't stand this kind of crap on the news. Shouldn't we be asking more important questions, like how the hell did G. W. get re elected, instead of what did Martha Stewart ate for breakfast? Who gives a shit. :mad:

Yeah, that's why I stopped watching the news (except for Jon Stewart of course, he's hilarious). You gotta remember, they're catering to the lowest common denominator, and this is a country where you can make a fortune printing outrageous lies about celebrities, and then see them in every supermarket aisle.

You're right. I just can't believe this stuff is considered "news". It should be left for the E network and Star magazine, but there was a whole 15 or 20 minutes spent on Martha Stewart on one of the networks last night and I could not believe legit reporters were wasting their time on her and her lemons.

Yes, she had inside info that stocks she owned were going to take a dive, so she sold them before she lost money. It was illegal because she wasn't supposed to have the info. She basically stabbed her broker in the back, too.
She has made millions by selling cookbooks and a "lifestyle" magazine about home decorating, baking, and crafts. Her crappola linens are also available in KMart (an equally crappy string of chain stores). Because we all know that the true value of a woman is based on her ability to make the perfect strawberry cheesecake and choosing just the right bed sheets for her guest room. :rolleyes: Martha makes me want to puke and all the ppl who try to emulate her are just as pathetic.
