$200 or less...Ideas I have

1. I'm hoping to get a half-ounce from an old friend for about $150. The half-oz would last me till the baseball playoffs start.

2. My brother finally moved out of our house, which leaves his room plus his secluded closet! So I figure I could start growing a lil' bit in that long closet. I guess all it takes is 1 or 2 small pots, a few seeds, one flourescent light, and 9 weeks. Of course, the plants would be sitting in the far end of that long storage room. The only concern I have is the smell from the growing plants. Would I need to use a small fan 24/7?

What do you think?

I think that one flourescent light and nine weeks is a bit optimistic. Try 4 months. And you need more light. And fans. And to read up on how to grow.

In colorado you cant get a better price then 150 for a half?

$150 for a half ounce of chronic. I hear about prices less than $100 sometimes, but I guess that's unrealistic. I live on the Front Range, and I don't have as many hook-ups as I used to; maybe I'd have to go into some town in the mountains to get a better deal.:question:

I'd be lucky to get a half O for 160 in Texas, its like 20bucks a gram(or 200 a Half-O) from the dude that I met, and im very shy and don't like to bother or confront people.

Up in Oregon it was like 120 for a Half-O

Prices are the same around here for good stuff unless your good friends with your hookup. If your parents are "cool" ask them for the hell of it lol it cant hurt. Growing your own always works out best in the long run but i suggest you wait till you are out of your rents house unless they give you permission!

If its your parents house then DO NOT GROW in it, unless there cool with it!? Plus your going to need more than 1 flourescent light and fan.. It takes longer than 9 weeks to grow a plant dude.. Do a bit reading on it in the grow section dude...

This woman has just spoken words of the wise! Your young and still in your parents house and it's not worth the risk. You find a half ounce before that plant would be harvested or maybe before you got busted.

Try 120 for a QUARTER of not-the-dankest nuggest... but really good still.

I'd pay 120/quarter for exotics... but regular "dro"???? This madness must stop!

150 for a half you people are crazy for that price one hit better put you on your ass i only pay $30 for a half of some bright green sticky homegrown weed (not schwagg either) but hey if one hit puts you on your ass then it is worth it enjoy

That's some insanely good pricing Flintstoner! And you're sure it's all pretty good grade stuff? I was appauled at the prices you guys are mentioning, but I think the strictness of laws has something to do with that. Here in Canada we have pretty lenient laws, especially here in BC which has the biggest stoner culture of any province. The prices I pay:


Mid - High grade

1 Gram: $10
1/8th: $25 - $30
1/4: $45 - $50
1/2: $80 - $90
1 ounce: $150 - $160



However, last time I bought weed was about 9 or 10 months ago, and the damn Conservatives (our current government) have made the pot laws a lot harsher lately, with mandatory minimum sentencing. The prices will undoubtedly have gone up by now. A shame, too; the conservatives are doing a bang-up job with the economy, but their drug and social policies are just fucked. I may finally vote NDP in the next federal election (who have great social and environmental policies, including full legalization, but their economic policies are fucked).

it is normally 75 for a half and 30 for a quarter but i am dating the dopeman's cousin and keeping her happy plus me and him hit it off when she introduced us. So there are mandatory minimums in canada for weed posession that's stupid there should not be mandatory minimums for posession of any drug yeah the cops around here are pretty lenient when it comes to weed but i am in Flint Michigan and the cops are more worried about the high murder rate than potsmokers these days
