Camping trip and tent hotboxing
My friend and I are hoping to go on a camping trip, in a brush in my town. I am purchasing a 7' x 6' x 42" tent, and some munchage. Im going to pick up maybe a quarter.
We will then proceed to hotbox my tent, and then have an epic nerf war in the brush. Next, we will probably rip open the mini cereal boxes, chill in our tent, and listen to some tuneage.
It will be an epic Crazy lazy and hazy night.
The reason i post this post a month or two before the trip, is because I am hoping I will be able to gather some inspirations, ideas, song choices, and anything my fellow stoners feel is rightous enough for this epic Crazy lazy and hazy night.
Thank you all very much for reading, stay :) keep

Let me just jot that down. Thanks for the reply. Dustin and I will probably listen to some Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Fort Minor.
I really love fort minor because all their songs really get you thinking about life you know?
Anyways, stay :D and keep :stoned:. Peace man.

smoking in tents is very unsafe, tents are very flamable, the smoke alone would be very bad for the tents fibers, especially a new tent that hasnt been broken in yet.

After your epic nerf war in the brush, I'd be sure to have some good music that you can enjoy while you are picking the ticks off each other.

I think the sounds of nature are the best tunes going. Take a couple puffs and relax by a fire or go for a walk and talk to a critter :smokin:

Thanks for all your kickin' reply guys, your awesome.
On the note of talking to some critters, I was lighting up in this same brush one time, and I was chillin when this squirell walks right up on my lap. I was like "what!" and then it jumped off my lap and flew up a tree.
Anyways, keep :rastabong: and stay :jumphappy:

Bring some binoculars, and when it gets dark, smoke a bowl, lay flat on your back with a pillow under your head, and look up at the stars through your binoculars. You will be amazed at how much you see --- the stars are much much brighter through binos, and there are billions and billions (Carl Sagan voice). If the moon is not out, and the sky is clear, you should be able to see the Milky Way --- slowly scan through that area with the binos and you will se some cool stuff.
It takes about a half hour for your eyes to really adapt to darkness, so after you use your lighter and turn off your flashlight, you will have to wait awhile before they fully adapt to darkness, but that doesn't mean you can't get started checking things out.

I love the darkness and quietness of wilderness at night. It is something you do not miss until you live under the glow and hum of the city.
dragonrider is right its amazing what you can see when you spend some time patiently scanning the sky.

Great! I hope you do try it!
The best binoculars for looking at the sky are ones with big front lenses, but not too much magnification power. The big front lenses bring in more light and make the stars brighter, and the low power makes them easier to hold steady and also makes the stars brighter. A great standard set of binos for looking at the stars is 7x50. The numbers work like this: 7x is the magnification power, so things look about 7x bigger, and the 50 is the size of the front lenses, 50 mm. Another decent type would be 7x42 or 6x42. Then they make some really big ones like 8x56 or 9x63, but those are kind of expensive specialty binos exclusively for looking at stars --- more likely you'll already have a smaller pair or be able to borrow one.
Too small does not work well --- like the little 8x24 pocket binos do not work well at night.
The general rule of thumb is if you take the big last number and divide it by the smaller first number it should be as big as possible, around 7. So for 7x50 binos, 50/7 = 7.1 --- pretty good. For 7x42 binos, 42/7 = 6 --- still decent. For 8x24 binos, 24/8 = 3 --- not good.
Anyway, all that is just to help you decide what to bring with you. If I were you, I wouldn't run out an buy anything unless you really wanted to. I'd just use whatever you already have or borrow the biggest pair you can find. And if they aren't the best pair in the world, just kick back and look at the sky with your naked eyes --- that's always good too.
Have fun!

I went camping twice last week, why are you waiting a month
just get a tent, a cooler, some blankets and such (and whatever else you feel like lugging to where you decide to set up camp) together today and go tomorrow. camping is way easier than most people make it out to be

I agree all the way.
this is what me and my buddies take when we do this.
we take a few cell phones in case we get lost or get hert.
also we take food like chips, chees, beer or at least water and we also take other good snack foods.
we role some blunts/joints or take a small pipe for bowls.
and when we do this we get much much more higher hot boxing than when we smoke in an open air.
well have lots of fun.

Yeah, camping is easy if you keep it simple. Most of the time you don't even need the tent. Of course, leaving the tent behind would ruin the whole hotboxing scenario...

I always enjoy some "Animals" from Pink Floyd while chillin in camp.
What area you camping in?

tents are flammable as hell, not at all air tight. the risk reward for hotboxing a tent is not good. it would be nicer to just smoke out in the woods anyway.

Wow this sounds like a great time. Dragonrider has some great ideas. but as far as music gos. i would say Fort Minor, Ben Harper, Led, Beatles, and most important nature.
