Seedsman Feminized White Widow + AK47 lowryders feminized LOG

Hey just put the seeds in for germinating, im gonna grow them soil based.

Here is what i plan, germinating in tissue as we speak, then plant in small peapots in window till they can handle light.

At this point i will be running biogrow every 3-4 days when soil can take it in 12L buckets with drilled drainage holes and 18/6 lighting.

At week 4 probably when first sign of flowering appears i will move them on 12/12 and add bioflower to the mixture and slowly take out the biogrow.

I will spray them every 2-3 hours with plain distilled water, and then hope for a good results.

This is my first fullsize grow and i would love comments/advice about it.
Thx in advance i will check in with pictures and updates throughout this log.

PS: im trying to keep it simple as i have a full time job to take care of while doing this.:jointsmile:

danish, it sounds like you have a pretty detailed plan, and I agree that you should keep it simple. From what I have read on this board, you should add no additional nutrients to your soil until you have 4 or 5 nodes on your plant(s), then only add at 1/4 to 1/2 strength. I'm not sure what exact Biogrow product you are using, but you may want to hold off for a bit?

Are the AK47 crossed with the LR? If so, are they autoflower? You may want to let your plants veg a bit longer than 4 weeks? I don't know about indoor growing though, so take that with a grain of salt - I also don't know any limited space issues you may have, which would explain limiting their vegetative growth prior to flower.


I have heard good and bad about feminized seeds, so I look forward to following your log to see your luck with them. At the end of the day, I hope you wind up with some really incredible bud! Good luck! Be good out there!

Yes they are feminized and we have one growing on this plan so far going great the little gal.

I have space for a little and i have a 600W HPS so lighting not that bad...

The reason why im starting flowering at like day 25-30 is because i have only like 180cm in height of space... so ill branch em into smaller buds but with like 3-5 buds instead of one...

For the WW im looking for advice though and may even wait longer then 2-3 weeks before adding nutrients

Im running basic Biogrow 8-2-6 on the plants i have now.
And yes Biogrow is the name i plan on using their flowering nutrients as well.

Also this is something i find working on potplants is to take the fullsize out of lighting room for night as i have a completely dark chamber with 18-20C 24/7 which means they will get cold and dark at night and warm+light in day...

The limited space makes sense to only allow a shorter vegetative period. Have you considered lst'ing them too, to allow for greater bud site development in a more confined space? You should check camoxnhx's thread - he is growing LR2's, and has begun to lst at a very early age. I'm a firm believer in lst'ing!

Thanks for the explanation of your lighting and nutrients. I have had no experience with Biogrow, and didn't realize it was the full name - thought there might be particular sub-types.

Again, it sounds like you have a great plan in place. I wish you much luck, and I will be following along to watch those ladies develop!

but im realy considering snipping them for several buds and how much space they will then take up as i have about 8-10m2 for it...

Hmm... just got home from and checked up... 8/10 seeds is in peapots in the window... giving the last 2 till sunday to germinate else call em dead...

Now im just curious to see what seeds is what strain as i just put em in the box ...

Sooooooo... I finaly brought upon my stony self to re-arrange and clean the grow-room... hope the flowers ain too shocked about it... now the reflection is way better and im mounting the last fan for for airflow in like 30 mins when checking up on the flowers.

There will come pictures later today of the setup, also the re-arrangement gave me a perfect little spot for my new seedlings.

I have some pot plants going 2 almost ready or ready to harvest and LR2xAK47 which is 3 weeks from seed exactly today so glad to see that one is doing well ... she is a girl we cant wait.

Im trying to convince my roomie/partner on this one that we train the little bugger growing now but his not listening... HOW do i convince him that we train the little bugger to give more bud ????????

New setup is nice 200w CFL and we decided to go with jiffy's and a sprout box...

danish, you have a really sweet setup, bro! And, your plants are super sweet lookin'! I'm really lookin' forward to your sharing more pictures. It's always nice to read along with a log, but it's nice to also see the pretty pictures! You should have some sweet indica and sativa, based upon the appearance of your plants, leaving a nice variety of smoke to keep your spirits up for some time to come.

Hehe... I was a bit stoned when i posted last night... Those 2 little critters you can see is actually pot plants... I have 2 "trees" standing as well i wanted to flower ... but shit happened so had to reveg those 2.

I will post pictures just need to get all back on their feet before doing so

But that little critter looking damn fine is 3 weeks from seed... :D

And i just 5 of those little ones and 5 WW down and so far 6 has sprouted and is doing fine

Oh forgot some info on how they will be grown

We plan on having the having the LR2xAK47 in medium sized pots (5-7L) and then have the WW/BB (yes forgot to mention that as well, got 10BB for free, their Sensiseeds) will be grown in 12L buckets with lots of drainage holes.

I put Lecastones in the buttom of the buckets and then a good garden soil on top which i keep an eye on.

This is because we're trying to keep it simple, next grow we have decided to probably take one into a flower cabinet we're getting and grow a hydro in there instead of using it for flowering.

Ideas suggestions is welcome and im trying to get a better camera as when i woke up today there was big opened preflowers on the little lady so i need a macro cam soon for the MJ porn :D

plants loo good danish....if going hydro.....try passive hydro first....no pump to worry about...very simple and effective. any question...ask away! see ya bro!:smokebong:

Hey killa thanks for dropping by, I will ask a few questions in a couple lines.

The pot plants look like they are calm and ready to grow again, so they will relax and be set to flower again on friday and we see how they do.

We now also have a small army going ... 5 WW 8 LR2xAK47 in the sprout box :D

So killa coming back to what you said, passive hydro is that with dripring and then in some kind of medium say rockwool or ?

Once i put the pot back to flowering i will have some tease pictures of those till something happends that actually belongs in this log

passive hydro uses no pumps....it usually includes some kinda wick system...nylon rope, etc.....just research "passive hydroponics".

I use hempy buckets with are a form of passive hydro, which the medium itself as a wick and water retaining meterial. I use perlite to retain water and vermiculite to wick the water from the buckets internal resevior.

Im definately gonna look into that killa read a little about with partner last night and thinks its an idea as well, though we're still gonna do this run in soil.

But its looking good, so far 8/9 germinated ones is looking for light in the sprout box :D

So i think this log will have pictures shortly of the little ladies...

I will upload a picture later as the little lady allready going is starting to open up her flowers, and tomorrow we're putting the pot girlies back to flower as they are stressed down and all green now again :D

I know there was a brownish leaf on the single stem pot queen but i plugged it after the picture was taken, but i had a wake n bake so didn't bother a new picture, we have 2 sick plants which i haven't taken pictures of as they are just recovering some stupid BS which is taken care of.

Weirdest shit happend today... stressed out day at work come home and there is almost 1" of root sticking out of a 2day from seed BB ?!?!?!?!?!?

Didn't think of taking pictures but potted the jiffy in a pot ...

Big ones are back to 12/12 no special light as we switch to HPS for flowering on sunday but just to make em use to it again...

Little girl is all jolly and is starting the autoflower stuff now and is looking healthier and bushier then ever before :D:D:D:D

Oh well back to stress then vacation hopefully i can stay away

the little bugger is flowering good after just one long night this is sick... we'll see she goes but we're hoping for good crop quality wise...

I just had to plant a WW into a pot today as roots we're popping out of the jiffy all over the place...

The 3 sick plants took a turn for worse so im considering planting them over today ... comments on this as leafs is just hanging and looking borring and soil does not seem to like getting watered anymore :(

I ask for help as this has not occured to me before on my previous pot grows.

So my photographer showed up yesterday so i have a few pictures for you guys.

The macro kit he borrowed would not focus, so he said he will bring a macro objective next time :D

So for now its only 10x i will have pictures of the 3 flowers which is on day 4 of flowering so enjoy

So i finaly got my self activated and installed the 600W HPS for flowering and put in a divider :D

Judging from the flowers here on day 3 their LOVING it...
The flowers has grown 4x their size in just 2 days so thats good.

The nursery for pot plants im affraid one is KIA :( but we managed to save 2 of those little critters so thats good

The ak girl is crazy under that HPS

The rest is still seedlings just having a jolly good time under 18/6 cfl still, here the HPS came in and saved our lifes as temps is now back to 30-35celcius (85-95F) so thats good

And thats the update for this time, as im going on vacation today i dont have time to update with pictures, if lucky roomie will up some during weekend else i will on sunday

Everything is looking dandy, we now have 8/14 sprouts on their way with 2nd set of leaves this seems good, their all seeking light excellent.

The jiffy box seems to be ready for a break and we're most likely gonna go with what we have so far as there is quite alot of plants out now.

The 3 flowering ones is doing awsum, ak47lr2 is allready close to having a cola is looking sick :D cant wait... the pot will probably take some time though flowers is coming closer and closer now :D

Hey hudson thx for that article unfortunately the only magnifier i have is a round one so its causing me trouble i just got the cable for the cam i borrowed, so now we will see how good pictures i can produce without a pro photographer...

Plants is looking mighty fine im starting to see signs of my pot queens being ready for harvest as they started to drop the bottom leafs rapidly no sign of sickness nothing their just done i like how nature gives you signs when its done :D

The little one still has a week maybe 2 left but its not realy icky smelly yet so looking forward to that...

i know quality is low but still difference is amazing in 7 days, dont you just love mother nature from time to time...

danish, your plants are super cool looking. They look like shrubs, all nice and trimmed up. Do you trim them into the rounded shapes? Have you ever tried to trim them into the shape of a dolphin balancing a ball on its beak? All joking aside, bro, those are some sweet lookin' ladies. That AK47LR2 looks like a very interesting plant, bushier and larger than my Mighty Freeze autoflowerer.

The one with 4 tops is tied together with ribon very softly and the other 2 is just grown like that, with only an eating stick to lean against not even tied to it...

I will take some pictures again soon or well my photographer is dropping by this weekend possibly :D

Oh yea forgot to mention that after we put em back to HPS 12/12 we removed the ribbon so its just seeking the light that on its own :P

hey danish. I'm really looking forward to getting some akl2 seeds myself for next year. sucks there's no tri-pod because those pics are a little blurry. but anyway. she looks pretty nice.

whats the light schedule? i hear 20/4 is best for that strain. the only thing i'm wondering is if she's growing to her full potential. I would of expected more flower growth but maybe by week 9 or even 10 if ya wait, she'll bud up nicely.

She is a bit behind schedule actually she spend like 2 weeks in a window before going to the growroow...

And to answer your question, the 3 flowering plants in on 600W HPS aprox. 60-80cm from light and pot plants like 10-25cm and on 12/12.

We are taking time now as she has to stink a nasty dank stinky smell :jointsmile:

She has 8 bud sites and the main cola is starting to get thick and heavy ...

The 2 pot ladies is just blooming like crazy so their all 3 still on flower every 3 days now and water every day, and we're trying to figure out but most likely we cut nutes in 11 days and go water for 7 and then harvest if all goes right ...

I will try to provide pictures asap but i dont have a camera handy still and photoguy is busy as hell :(

well i think if i got this strain i would do a few outdoor and maybe 2 indoor to see the difference in size and yield.

have you considered going to a longer light schedule for the ak? it's an autoflower so putting it in 12/12 won't maximize the yield as well as a 18/6 or 20/4 would. this is just a suggestion but everywhere i've read up on this strain tells me this is correct. I'm fairly certain if it received more light, the growth would increase.

GoodMorning thanks for dropping in we have considered to have 20/4 or even 24/0 compared with 18/6 its been on...

We are flowering 3 plants on a 600W HPS and they all seem to be doing great under 12/12 the 2 pot ladies is starting to look realy dank for pot...

The AK47LR2 has 6 confirmed budsiting all looking dank, and my fingers was realy stinky from adjusting the shoots out from the fanleafs only so we're keeping on this routine but else i think your right about the autoflowering...

Me and photoguy is trying to figure out a "date" for family photos but as we are both very busy it seems realy to hard ... will do my best for a camera ready since the real log here is just about to kick off the seedlings are just now starting to veg so we kick in soon

Ok forgot to upload these 2 pictures...

First one is the vegarea with a 250W CFL and a small fan... there has been added 2 seedlings since and the pot plant closes to cam has been removed as it is 90% chance male.
The little pot plant looking fine in the back with some sets of a leaves is my little baby and pride n joy...

Second picture is the blooming area with the powerful HPS we are working on a more permanent solution though this is proving to work quite well as for how the plants look so we keep it so far.

We have added 3 seedling and 1 have died else every seedling as growing a little bit and setting leaves but it mostly looks like their doing root as not realy moving that much upwards...

Ok so apparantly me and photoguy dont have the chance to match calendars so im gonna see what i can do about pictures...

The real growlog in here will start next weekend when we harvest the now flowering plants we have 2 we will flower to determine sex and then give another 2-3 weeks of veg.

The rest is going strong and looking fine so look out for start of the real growlog...

Here is the ladiescount for whats coming up

3x AK47LR2
2x WW
6x BubbleBerry (not feminized)
3x Pot (strain unknown is their grandparrents were found in nature)

So basicly we're awaiting what the future brings but i have a firm believe its gonna be weed :D

Then comes basic lighting question:
Would it be better to switch out the 600W with 3x125W HPS ?
We thought about this as general powercosts will drop and also will be able to give good light to a bigger area meaning we can actually do better...

So here is the general building plan coming up...

Switching out the 250W CFL with 2x125W for close lighting and more area.
Switching out the 600W HPS with 4x125W again for more area and closer light.

This is due to the fact that we realized the 600W can only come so close to the plants without burning them.

Is this is a better plan or should we stick to what we got ...

Its not the money thats the issue, thing is we dont see a reason to throw money after something without doing the research first...

Is there also a good way to avoid to the skunkie smell without throwing big money at a charcoal filter, there is a more obvious reason for this as we live in a major city where we cannot make outdoors ventilation...
