I posted this is a topic and I'm curious of your responses on the issue of DXM.

"Hey I browse this site a lot but this is my first post, I'm just sick of people getting all pissed at DXM. I've tried it once, I didn't do that much, but it was an experience, it was fun. People really need to stop worrying about what other people do to their bodies. Everyone has the right to do what they want. DXM isn't even that bad for you if you don;t do it daily. I do plan to do it again. I don't think its a big deal and if you think I'm a loser because of it then you need to look at how you judge people, because its sort of pathedic. The thing is, it's legal, I've been caught with cannabis and I'd rather not get caught with illegal things again for a while, this is legal, and its fun, I don't need my "fix" of it, its just something fun to do everyone couple of weekends."

Jk, the only thing i have against it is how it completely destroys your liver, more damage than some bud would ever, ever do. And other hallucinogenics are sooooo much easier on you, its like would you rather A) eat some shroomies and trip out froyally for hours or B) drink fuckin cough syrup? What the fuck?

You can't reallly compare shrooms and DXM too well. They aren't even in the same family.

I'm sure there are many people who enjoy tripping shrooms, and also tripping on some DXM here and there also.

I for one, see DXM as a great thing, especially since it is legal. Sure, the disociative family overall aren't too great for you in the long run, but if used in moderation you should turn out just fine.

I hate how people put it down just because it is legal and is used in cough syrup. The fact that it is over the counter doesn't mean it should be under estimated.

Its stupid how people think. Because that person who trips DXM wouldn't be a "loser" anymore if they did Ketamine, while is is somewhat similiar, and in the same family, just because it is illegal.

Thats exactly how I feel, the people where I live don't know about DXM, I'm letting some of my friends know about it and they love it too. Just don't be a total idiot with it, be responsible like with anything, and everything will be fine. Gotta love the legalness.:)

Wow that last sentence I typed was really fucked up.

You know what I mean though i'm guessing.

The weekend before last we had a 5 day weekend and I did it like 3-4 times that weekend. That is when it gets bad most likely. I haven't done it since, but this weekend, my friend and I are going to trip together, somewhere in the third plateau.

Just the thought of chugging cough syrup makes it seem a loser drug. Im done with this thread, its just gonna go back n forth bye.

yeah seriously it is a loser drug. And it is damn annoying that there is so much talk on these boards about.... ahem.... cough syrup. I mean what the hell? If u got a cough then yeah i guess its ok to take it, but I don't wanna hear about someone going out and tripping on a loser drug. it sort of makes the forum look like a loser forum.

And I'm sick of people calling others losers just because of what they decide to put in their body. It's that kind of thinking that keeps certain drugs (like pot) illegal. If someone wants to put something in their own body and are willing to accept the consequences, and it makes them happy, why should they not be allowed to? Just because you don't like the thought of people chugging cough syrup, that does not make anyone who does it a loser. Lots of people don't like the thought of us putting pot smoke in our lungs, you know. To each his own. People should be judged for who they are, not what they ingest.

(P.S. I have never tried DXM and don't intend to)

Ok maybe I just dont get it but..if you chugalug a bunch of this dxm or down a whole pack or bottle of those gelcaps, doesnt that make you kinda sick??
I mean I take a tablespoon of Robitussin when I have a cough and that stuff tastes like shit....Ive drank 151, everclear , and smirnoff 100 but cough syrup is nasty.....
