My First Lowryder 2 and Marzar CLF grow

So i just got the arrival of my Lowryder 2 seeds and my 5 free Mazar (Marco x Afghan) seeds today in the mail. I'M PUMPED (no more bag seed)!! so i figure why not make a grow log. This is my 3rd grow and I'm going to try breeding my LR 2 so i have more seeds thanks to stinky for the info on that. I got the idea from http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/...-grow-log.html and a little bit of help from Stinky and a few others. My Dimensions are 14" W x 2' L x 4 1/2' H with 6 23W CLF. 2 Computer fans and 2 soda cans (cleaned and sterile) with the ends cut off at the bottom for fresh air intake on both sides. I know its a bit cheap but I'm okay with it for now until i have more money. For Soil I have Compost and Fox farm soil mix i made. For Nutrients i Have Cha-Ching (mainly for my LR 2), Tiger bloom and Super Thrive (spent a little more money on nutrients). Ill post pics as soon as i find my USB cord for my camera. thanks. im quite excited to grow these because i've heard and read some good stuff and my space is limited. But just the fact that i've stepped away from bag seed is a plus for me. I'm also going to attemp to extract hash oil out of one of my crops. but i will have some pics up with-in the next couple of days or when im not high and find my USB cord. LOL. but i will find it.

K so ill have pics up in a few hours. I love my CLF GROW BOX. took me a bit but now its up and running! so i'll get those pics up ASAP! Whats the best way to store my extra seeds?

So here some pics. i found my cord so i will have tons of pics! but here is the outside of what my box looks like. Inside of my box lights and fan (i'm putting my other 4 23W CFL's in tomorrow). The top view of my fan. My soda cans for my air intake on the left back cornor and the right front cornor. I'm starting my 2 Lowryder 2 seeds frist and pondering about putting a Mazar outside. My seeds from (took 7 days).

OMG....:eek: That thing is HUGE...and it has eyes....:D

I would like to add a few things if you don't mind....
First of all make sure, that it's not gonna overheat...i see you have a proc. cooling fan, but make sure that there is enough air movement, or the plants gonna get fried....or worse....
It would be wise to add another cooling fan, if one stops for some reason, there is another that keeps on moving....
Make sure that there are no blank wires, etc....
And you need to make it lightproof....if the plants get light during the dark period, they gonna get fucked up....
And please be VERY careful....

the temp is 81 in there. i have a digital thermometer inside. Its acually inside my closet now. heres a few more pics. That fan is sucking in a good amount of air from the bottom 2 intakes. stinky gave me the advice of making it 4 feet because im gonna germate a Mazar seed to. Here are a few more pics.

can i store male pollen?

You can store seeds the way you like, in a baggy or a paper envelope or some glass phial....only thing is that they shouldn't get wet, no sunlight, no frost or heat....
You can store pollen the same way...i think...:wtf:
Some ppl. store the seeds and pollen in the fridge....i personally like room temp...

Thank you Zeb for you response. But now its day 4 and my seedlings have poped outta the soil. im amped now and im just counting down my days and hoping for a male (but 2 mothers would be even better).

I'm a guy. never hurts to ask. lol well i saw at home depot a clf that equaled a 150 w. so how many of those would i have to get instead of 6 23w cfls?

to be safe i would buy 4-6 (40watt CFLs that =150watts each)...i used only 2 my first closet grow and i needed more light by week 5 because they stopped growing/stretching

Its day 6 so heres some pic updates for my LR2. I have just put 2 Mazar seeds in a paper towel to germanate.

so then U got to have a GF or a wife. cuz I can see girls clothes in the closet next to ur grow box.

and thouse look like good sized pots for ur lr 2 seeds.

yes im married! but when the LR2 starts to show its sex should i Transplant it so the buds get bigger? and when should i give it Foxfarms Cha-Ching since its a autoflower strain.

I was doing my nightly smoke (i have insomnia) to go to bed and i saw info-merical about something called a AUQA GLOBE that you stick into your plants and it waters when soil is dry. now what are your thoughts on these and cannabis growing. heres a pic of what they look like.

yeah i had the same thoughts when i wasn't too sure about my setup last year, no fires :) and no i haven't which is why i'm interested in seeing how your luck turns out.

If they stay short and petite like they should i think it may be one of my regular strains since my area is small. good luck

this is my question for you DR. Greethumbs.. when should i transplant into a 3 gallon pot so my buds get bigger. i know when you transplant before budding it allows for the roots to grow and your buds get bigger if i am correct.

i'm not the dr. but i know you should atleast transplant 2-3 times because it will help the roots stay healthy and avoid stagnant spots in the soil to develop over time.
I'd wait 3-4 week (depending on size) before going to a 3 gallon bucket and then to a 5 gallon bucket before flowering. just my thoughts, i could be mistaken but that's what i've done and they look happy ;)

Thanks Mr. Good. so even tho its gonna auto flower i should still transplant 2-3 times and once i transplant should i avoid the 9 week theory? Now i have 2 75 watt MH blubs (only for 12 hrs a day) i used from my frist closet grow. now my question is can i put those in my box (adding another fan before i do) along with my CFL's to make the buds more compact and possibly a higher yeild from my LR2.

So heres an update. RESPONSES AND HELP WITH QUESTIONS WOULD BE NICE!!!

I added screening to my intake on both sides (hair and stuff geting sucked iton my grow box) and i transplant one of my LR2 into a 3 gallon pot because the leaflets were starting to curl so when i transplanted it the root system was outrageous. but here are some updated pics.

ur lr2 is lookin great so far.

i just check my ladies and i have bugs in there. little black looking flys!!!! How can i get rid of them.

So heres an update.. One of my Lowryder 2 got eatten by my dog during watering time and i didnt see him untill it was to late. The mazar will be popping out of the soil anytime. will post pics tonight.

sorry to hear about the dog incident...i guess putting your last mazar in the box wouldn't be bad with 3-4 cfls. i'm not sure if 2 would be enough for the flowering stage. never grew mazar before so can't be positive.

So here are some pic updates of what i've got so far. its Day 15 now and the frist pics is of my LR2 and i took some decent pics so all of you can see and the other one is Mazar. The LR2 hasnt showed it sex yet but i cant wait till i find out.

the frist 2 ar still my LR2 and the last one is my Mazar. Im not gonna lie but im pumped about my mazar because i can see the Indica Dom in it just form the seeding stage with the fat leaves forming!
