It's not even a race thing. It's more of the fact that he comes off as condensending. Plus many of the working class white majority go to Church and the whole Wright issue (even though completely meaningless in my opinion) really gets to them.

Not exactly. In his earlier days Marx wrote many philosophical articles about religion, society, and his own special breed of historical materialism. The communist party had already come into existance and they asked Marx to write their Manifesto for them because a lot of his writings complimented the communist political philosophy. So no, Communism was not founded on Marxist principles, Marx just gave them a voice.Quote:

Why is race an issue only with white people? Based on my experience living the last couple of years in North Philadelphia, many black people in my neighborhood despise me because i am one of a very few white people living there. I see and hear people chanting this and I hear people yelling at their politicians for "change". But no one really elaborates on this. I believe part of this is that Bush is so hated that people are willing to blindly follow anything thats different. Because shucks, if it's different it MUST be good. And no, Obama is no Stalin or Hitler. But he is big enough to really fuck us up for another 4-8 years. But as long as there are people with their hands extended, looking for a government handout there will be people like this.
