So I grow in rubbermaids fashioned together with duct tape and tears!

Tomorrow is the start of week 7 for me. Logs are cool and all, but really 80% of the material in them is boring. I circumvent this dilemma by making the log when the cool part is already here.

Catch up time.

2 Bag seeds in FFOF soil using Bio-Gro, Bio-Bloom, and molasseses during flowering. 6 26w CFLs. 6500k in veg, 2700k in flower.

For this grow I did a pic a day, but the day by day progress is really only interesting to me. So for you, the reader's sake, I'm just gonna post 1 pic of each week's progress with a shite camera and macros with the good camera whenever I feel like it.

From left to right, top to bottom:

3. Popped seeds in straight FFOF. No perlite because I'm too cheap for a $4 bag of perlite.

I vegged for 35 days and topped both of them around day 20.

Oh.. and yeah, this is a scrog grow. Transplanted 2 times. Once from cups to the square pots and then the last time into 3 gal pots.

Day 6 was the indica's last day alive. RIP :( Smelled like skunk and coffee. Still have seeds from that bag, looking forward to finding a girl.

Heyyy, thanks for the comments guys. I'm actually pretty surprised with this one. The only reason I kept this seed is because of the smell/taste of the bud it came off of. Everything else about it was just alright. Buds were fluffy, high was mediocre, etc. So from not expecting much I'm actually pretty happy with how its turned out. It's all organic and I'm planning for a 2 week flush, so hopefully the taste will be just as good as the bag I got the seed from.

This plant started out odorless until about week 4 of flower. Which was good since I have zero odor control. The other indica leaning one would punch me in face with its stink as soon as I walked into the house. Definitely gonna have to wait till I get odor control sorted out before I pop more of those beans. The current plant just has a sickly sweet smell to it. If you touch a bud or stem the smell gets really pungent, like pine and sweet berries.

Added a pic taken on the same day as the last batch. That bud had just put out new hairs on the top calyx. Thought it looked cool.

Quick update.

Today is day 46. I gave this plant it's last feeding of Bio-Gro last week I think? I've done 2 grows so far with Bio-bizz ferts (bloom/grow) and FFOF soil and it's really weird how fast the plant starts to yellow after you back off on the bio-gro. Last time I stopped feeding Bio-Gro waaayy too soon. This time seems alright. Hopefully by day 70 the whole thing will be yellow. That's what I'm aiming for.

In other news I'm in the process of throwing together a little mother/clone chamber out of a single 18gal 'maid and a little bubble cloner to go along with it. So far I have everything except for a piece of tupperware to make into a bubble cloner and some hardware to mount the light fixture in the 'maid. Was doing the shopping today, but I forgot those two things. :(

Orzy, those darker green buds in that first picture look like they are made from green butter cream icing. I think I'm going to special order a cake that looks like your plant - I gotta check out some local bakeries. Too bad stinky doesn't live down here, as she has some mad cooking/baking skills from what I read.

So far my plan is to keep feeding my bloom nute like normal up until day 56 then just water from there on out with the exception of one more feeding of molasses around day 59/60. If I harvest on day 70 then I'll have 14 days of straight water(except for that one last shot of molasses).

I hate growing from seed because I don't have any idea how the plant is going to finish. Definitely contemplating feeding up until week 9. I don't wanna starve it and deny it enough food to bulk up in those last couple weeks.

Day 58 of flower. Was planning on giving it one last feeding of molasses today, but I don't plan to water it much past day 63 and I want it to get a decent flush. So it got just water today and will get only water from here on out.

First two are over heads. In the first shot you can kinda see how the light traps look from the inside. They have little lips on one side that allow you to block any light around the edges of the hole.

The last three I only resized by 50% so they're huge, 1936x1296.

I haven't commented much but I've been following this..

I think the screen is at about the 6 inch mark. With small screens like mine you don't need much height to fill them. 'Course.. growing from seed in a scrog is difficult as you don't really know how much it's going to stretch to fill the screen.

Mine, for example, filled out "okay" but in hindsight I would of probably given it another week or so of veg.

If you're going to try to scrog mazar you'll definitely want to top or fim it to encourage branching along with placing the screen on earlier in veg than I did. I don't know what the stretch is like with that strain, but what I have seen is that untrained it will grow just one main cola with minimal side branches.

Day 61 today. Nine days until I cut her down. Today when picking off dead leaves I noticed the herb has a sour/citrus-y orange smell to it. Tart and sweet at the same time. Smells nice, but not at all like the original herb the seed came from. Maybe it'll take on the creamy/chocolaty smell that the original smelled like after a cure, but I kinda doubt it.

Yeah, I'll report back with a smoke report and some dried shots. Don't have a scale, though. The main nugs are fairly dense so I'm guessing around an oz, but we'll see how it drys out.

I snagged one of the tiny under the screen buds yesterday. It was dry enough to smoke this afternoon. And it's heeavvvyy. It's been a struggle to stay awake since. I'm gonna go destroy a bowl of cereal and black out after I post this.

Since that underdeveloped scrawny nug was so narcotic I'm gonna chop on Thursday next week, day 68. I have Thursday and Friday off from work so I figure I can have the trim in the crockpot with some butter by Thursday night and then I can cook up some brownies on Friday.

Yeah I'll post some harvest shots, but you guy will have to wait for dried pics as I may be unable to move for several days.

Between the scissor hash and the canna-ghee brownies it'll be a miracle if I'm able to operate a camera or a computer.

You have some mighty wicked buds on your hands, and soon to be on your brain! They are sort of scary lookin', man - like they could really lay an ass-whoopin' on you. The trichs on them remind me of hatch's upclose pictures. You have a nice camera to allow such a magnified focus.
