1 of em is an LR2 seedling and the other 1 is from dank bagseed I had once.
I had to go back to growing in soil because I can't seem to grow in any of my home made DWC systems anymore.:(
all my dwc plants keep dieing on me.:mad:
and also I am hopeing I get 1 male out of my LR2 seeds. I have 9 of them left.
Hopeing for 1 male so I can get lots of LR seeds to grow for the future.

why do your dwc plants keep dying on you?
Nice Hydro. They look the same age as my New york city Diesel plants. Where did you get the Low Rider 2 seeds from? and is it possible to take cuttings from that plant? i know they are small but wouldnt it be easier then seeds?
I don't know Y they R dieing now days. cuz I just had 2 full healthy DWC grows in the last 4 months and getting an ok-great harvest from them.Quote:

Looking good so far. Perhaps a bit moist, but seedlings look great. Hopefully growing in the soil will be easier for ya. Looking forward to seeing your sucessful harvest. :jointsmile:
Have you checked for other grow reports on low rider? It may help you learn a thing or two about soil growing the strain. :thumbsup:
Are those clear container? Might want to think about switching to something opaque. Better for the roots.
they don't seem to be growing very fast. so hopefuly they do start growing faster soon.

and there is about 45% perlite the rest is soil.
and the water I am feeding her with is fixed to a good 6.0 ph.

Looking good so far. :thumbsup: Shouldn't take long to figure-out which is the autoflower strain. They'll let you know. ;)
Patience is really, really necessary, regardless of the grow techniques used. (soil, hydro...) Seedlings tend to take their merry, sweet-assed time getting started, but that's just the way it is. :jointsmile: Did you bury the seedlings up to the cotelydons? You keeping a gentle breeze on 'em?
I would raise the ph to around 6.5 to 6.7, and avoid overwatering. When I add nutes and suppliments to water, it lowers the ph even further. I keep mine at 6.8 or so. (before nutes) On CalMag and molasses day, this brings it down to 6.3 or so, which is as far south as I like to let the ph go. (molasses water added to flowering plants only, not seedlings or veggies)
But looks to me like you're on the right track. :stoned:

However...any chance of a picture of 'em just before you water? Every shot so far looks like the soil is saturated. This makes me a bit curious if you are letting the soil dry-out enough between waterings, or if you are just taking the shots after watering.
I havent watered them since they sprouted. I watered them then and no water since then.
I guess there soil or pots R good at holding a lil water for a while. there 10+ dime size drain holes on the bottems of the pots.

so can you breed Lowryder for seeds with a male and female LR even tho its a autoflowering plant?
thats what I was told. so I realy hope I get just 2 good healthy out of my 9 seeds I am gunna plant over the next 2 weeks.

i ordered LR 2 seeds thursday so im waiting for my seeds now which im pumped about. this is my first time stepping away from Bag seed. So since you can breed them you can get more seeds of LR 2 but would the inbreeding mess up the characteristics of the plant or no? i just want to be able to have more LR 2 seeds (without paying..crossing fingers) and have more abundent crops. now as far as the budding is there a strong odor?
Some even cross them with 'normal' strains. I've got a Swazi x Early wonder strain I work with. I've been trying to strip the Early Wonder (autoflower strain) from my Swazi Skunk for a few years now, but still get an occational Swazi lady that doesn't veg very well and starts flowering regardless of light schedule. :mad: (Selective breeding can take a while to acheive desired results)Quote:
