My latest batch I bought when rolled into a joint contiuously goes rock hard at the end and becomes impossible to smoke.
All I'm wondering is if anybody knows why this is? Have you had any like this before?
I don't think its grit weed (done the two simple tests and it looks like normal bud I'd say) but i cant be certain.
Any help is much appreciated
Where do you store your weed, it should be kept in a cool dark place fridge is good.:thumbsup:

I have only heard of that happening with grit weed. Take some ash and try to use it to scratch something if it scratches it then dont smoke that shit. the ash should break up in your fingers with little to no pressure if it doesnt somethings wrong man.
... You sure you're breaking it up and rolling correctly? And perhaps if you are maybe you're just rolling it up too tight? You gotta leave room for a little bit of oxygen to get through to help it burn.

take a little 'rock' of ash and crush it between your fingers.. if it SMUDGES.. then your fucked.. its contaminated with some kind of oil, ive had it a few times before - my mate who grows was telling me about how horrific it is. not healthy atall :(
you cant really do anything to the bud to sort it out.. so my advice is get a new dealer.

As you're smoking it, any incompletely vaporized resins, partially-burned plant material, and even ash particles from the lit end do end up in the inside of the part of the joint that is not burning, and this can eventually clog the other end with undesirable tars- the same 'resin' that some people scrape off the inside of their glass pieces to smoke.
To keep this from happening, try rolling the mouth end a little fat, and a little looser, instead of tapering it down to a point like some people do.

also roll your joint, then at the end put a triangle roach in the end your going to smoke out of, that will allow for maximum airflow out of the joint at all times.
Thanks everyone, I'm fairly sure its not down to rolling technique as it has only happened with this specific bag, and one other in the past too. I'm going to have to go with what Jah said about it being contaminated with oil or something, time to get a new contact.
