Powdery mildew spores have finally appeared on the upper fan leaves of my plants, I am about to chop em all and clean the whole area and just start over.
Any reasons why I should not, (a miracle way to stop powdery mildew 30 days into flowering?)

Sorry, panic post. Plants chopped anyway.
:wtf:
uhhh........never mind then.
Yes- SMC leaf wash, made with coriander oil, just like a good Indian dish! :D Safe up to harvest and keeps PM from spreading. Sorry about your plants.
I have NO experience with powdery mildew, but have read that sulphur is the solution ... if my memory serves me, (seldom does), you burn the sulfur in the room, its the resulting stinking smoke that fixes it ... obviously you would take them out of the house ... this is only a guess, maybe you can research it ...
Edit: here ya go: Quick Grow South Articles
The sulfur vapor actually settles on the plants' leaves, dropping pH of the leaf surface so that mold can't grow.
ahhh ... sorta like my dandruff keeps the spidermites outta my brain ... :wtf: ... (NCDG for breakfast again :D)Quote:

I do appreciate the help. I just didn't want to deal with it (PM) anymore after trying my best for weeks, to end up finding that most of the upper leaves had spores on them. yuck. I really didn't want to worry about smoking fungicide or anything like that. Just clean the area and start over.
Hopefully it won't happen again, I've learned not to overlook the basics. If it does happen again though, at least I will be prepared.
You can safely smoke SMC residue. It's less of a fungicide than a physical barrier preventing the spores taking hold. Just FYI.
